"A Cut Above many other Contractors! We had needed brick pointing done on our home for a few years. We are also in the middle of a renovation project for our game room and that included the installation of a sliding glass door where a window was. The door install required that a steel lintel be moved up to accommodate the height of the new door. We were very fortunate that we called Michener Chimney and Masonry to come and have a look. They came out in a timely fashion and gave their estimate to us in just a few days. Once we agreed to get the work done, Jim and his team from Michener began the work quickly. They were professional and friendly and did a wonderful job on all of the aspects of the project. Communication with them was easy, clear and accurate. "The salesman recommended a surface drain in the back yard to keep water from comming into the house. They dug with shovels but did not follow a chalk line resulting in an unbelievable jagged mess filled with stone. I cannot cover it so I have to look at this mess everytime I want to go out into my back yard or patio. Not to mention how difficult it is going to make lawn mowing. Then they connected and buried a rainconductor hose going down the side of the house to the front yard. Heaped rock and clay and dirt, literally heaped! Threw grass seed and straw on top and called it a day. Called managment and was told by a supervisor that this is how they do it, "we don't did straight lines" our yard looks like a war zone. Customer service does not exist, once they have your money you are history."
