 + -1 moreI chose this contractor after receiving a very high recommendation and witnessing him working on the driveway of a friend. Galen Goss, owner and on-sight worker, is as close to a perfectionist that you can find. He did not disappoint me in any way. I was present throughout the whole job, and I cannot imagine the work being done any better. I have not found a single spatter of sealcoat on any vertical or flat surfaces. Visitors to my home have commented very positively on the appearance of the job. I do not hesitate to add my highest recommendation for Galen Goss and his Top Shield Sealcoating service.
Description of Work: Prepared job by edging 7,700 sq yds of asphalt driveway and parking area including pulling back bordering stones, covering solar lights, trimming back grass, cleaning out cracks, and removing all loose dirt. Taped all areas next to buildings and walks. Applied commercial grade hot crack filler to approx. 100 feet of cracks. Applied commercial grade coal tar emulsion sealer with additives by paint brush immediately next to taped areas before applying additional sealer by brush out from all buildings. The remaining sealer was applied by spraying. Base of driveway was protected from entry by cone and strung tape. Contractor returned in a couple of days to remove the tape and replace and tamp down the stones adjacent to the asphalt.
