Request a quoteOh it was a mess and he was very careful not to get the stuff that came out the drain to, he was very careful to contain that, he was very neat and clean and getting the clog out of the drain using an electric eel which was not an easy thing to do.

"Owner showed up with a small crew and a crazy new piece of equipment. Excavated down below my foundation and to the septic tank. Came into the basement and jackhammered the floor. Removed all the old terracotta pipe inside and out. Installed all new PVC pipe all the way down to the septic tank. Put gravel down to protect the new pipe. Poured concrete in the basement to close the floor back up. Only took one day to get the new pipe in. Came back the next to close the ground and floor up. Great experience, basement no longer smell like sewage."

"First of all, I can can do plumbing myself, but it usually involves more than a day or two and multiple trips to one of the big box stores. Since the tub hardware was old and corroded, I didn't want to take a chance of making things worse, so I decided to call in a professional; that the toilet started leaking was a (happy) coincidence for me, so he or she could do that at the same time. I contacted TruPlumbing and Tom was dispatched for the job... he contacted me to set up a time and date for the service call and also gave me a quote and the option to buy my own parts for the job, telling me what was needed, Tom arrived on time and had both jobs completed in a few hours; he was very professional, covered his shoes so as not to track dirt into the house, and explained what all he had done. Plumbing costs obviously vary from job to job. You can expect to pay anywhere from $225 - $400 for your average repair of a faucet or toilet. Frozen broken pipes are a much more difficult item to put a price tag on. The best course is to try to correct it as soon as possible: These tend to get worse rather than better, which means more costly. You will obviously be paying more for after hour emergency services, but time is of the essence.
