APPLIED PEST MANAGEMENT

This ended up being a nightmare. My grandmother has a mouse issue. Yes, still has. My sister and I tried all kinds of mice killers on the market which glue traps worked the best but the mice were still in the home and eating her food. So on a friends referral and a good rating on this site, I called APM and spoke with Chris. He had himself and his coworker come out a few days later and explain which would be the good route to take and the cost. They had multiple traps inside and a few outside. We signed up for a weekly service then we turned it to monthly. Both guys were very professional during the visits. Well after trying the service out for 2 months, my sister and I did a better job catching mice with the glue traps months earlier then what the guys put down. So maybe this isn't their fault, that's fine, but what happened next was inexcusable. I called Chris to speak with him on how my family wasn't happy with the service. He had a set appointment to go to my elderly grandmothers apt to check the traps. He didn't show. I called him and left a message to see what happened. There was no call to say he needed to reschedule or he was going to be late. At this point I'm not happy with his customer service. What happened next I felt like I was in a movie. He called me back that same day about eight hours later. He said him and his crew got caught up in another job. Ok I understand but I asked why he didn't call to reschedule and he didn't have a good answer. So I told him that I wanted to cancel my grandmothers service because we weren't getting results. He got agitated with me and started asking a lot of questions. I told him the mice were still around and they weren't going away and continue to eat her food. He starts getting louder with me on the phone. So loud I had to leave my place of business and go outside because my customers could hear him. By this time I calmly tell him he's being rude and I run a business and I would never talk to a customer the way he was talking to me. After going around and around he then agrees that he'll cancel my grandmothers service but now he wants to cut her service off by weeks. She paid for a whole month!!! I called him out on it telling him he's trying to rip her off and he couldn't understand me and started screaming and threatening to take me to the magistrate over a very small amount bill. He finally saw reason and let the service run out until the end of the month. This young man has no idea how to run a business and how to professionally talk with customers that aren't satisfied.

Great service. They have controlled multiple pest problems on our very wooded lot. Not an easy job, but their persistance has proven effective.

We have a cedar-sided house, so we have problems with wasps, bees and other pests. They also sprayed for stink bugs, and since we have been using them, we have not had one issue with stink bugs. The owner is fantastic. In fact in last fall, we had a mouse in our kitchen, and I was so panicked that I called him on a whim, and he was up the next day and ended up catching the mouse and set trap all around our house, and we have not had any problem with mice since.
