Sullivan Oil & Propane

This is one of the worst experiences I have had dealing with any service company in the Lehigh Valley. On Thursday evening I made an appointment with them to come out and check out my boiler. On Friday morning I get a call from a manager or owner whatever he was. He spent the first couple minutes asking me what was the issue, then he insulted me because my SSD income does not allow me to purchase a new boiler through him. Next he hemmed and hawed trying to get up the nerve to tell me I was screwed and that he wouldn't be sending anyone to my home. The nights now are down in the low 20's maybe he should have told me this so I could have looked for someone the other day instead of banking on them to keep their word. They may do good work if you can get them there but if they find a higher bidder in the meantime you are screwed.

Excellent family owned business. We have been using them for ten years. Ron estimator, Dustin and Craig Hvac techs installed a new heat pump, central air and a humidifier in one day in this crazy covid world. Very professional and polite. They go out of their way to satisfy you which is not always the case with businesses today.

We have used Sullivan family owned business for our furnace needs in the past and last year needed a new system. They actually temporarily fixed the problem we had so we could shop around to compare prices and units. They could have made it difficult to do that and forced us to make a rush decision, but he didn't. Gene Sullivan and his staff were very knowledgable. Once we decided, they were here right before Christmas and worked to get us up and running before the Holiday, yet he concerned about getting his guys home for the holiday, which impressed me. They were courteous, considerate of holiday season and not having oil smell in the house when they had to remove old tank. Price was a shock at first but after comparing several other companies, they were fair and beat the competitors by adding in extras, getting rebates, and getting rid of an oil tank....all included...with a new ac unit, too....honestly was a good price. Since it was winter when we replaced the air conditioner, they came out again last month to check that ac was working properly. No charge. The work was done in an efficient, considerate manner. Made sure not to disturb house during job and Cleaned up everything after they were done. Explained new unit's operation and precautions Good company,

This was my 3rd time visiting Sullivan for a refill. I needed propane but was also scoping them out for some air conditioning work, to get a feel for the way they do business, the people, etc. This review is specific to the propane refill services. The staff was friendly, professional, and quick. I did not feel rushed, and did not feel like I was wasting time waiting. The facility and office appears well maintained and is clean. The price for a refill beats a tank exchange at the big box store or gas station, plus I get my own tank back. This is the only propane retailer that I've visited in the last 8 or so years that refills a tank the right way. I won't get into right vs wrong way here. If you want to know about right vs wrong, call Sullivan Propane and I'm sure they will be glad to explain. Anyway, because the tank was filled properly, I got a truly full tank that was also safe to transport and store. I will continue to get my tanks refilled here. A+++

Mr. Sullivan and his workers are top notch professionals. Started off with estimates from two company's Sullivan's quote was 500.00 cheaper than the other for the same unit. Friendly, willing to answer any questions, did not feel pressured in any way. The installation team was courteous, knowable, and they started on time at scheduled appointment at 8:00 AM and were finished by 12:00 PM. Mitsubishi units are outstanding! Will probably have another one or two units installed by them.
