I have used other companies. However, this company is very trustworthy and very reasonably priced. They are a really reliable company, do a great job and leave the home really clean when they leave. I will definitely recommend them and absolutely use them, again.

Everyone at ABE remodeling has been great to us ever since we first contacted the company. Tim first came to the house to give an estimate on our basement at the end of 2014 after it had flooded the previous year, along with most of the other local contractors here on Angie's list. Tim won my business over for 2 reasons - I could tell right away that he was honest and fair in his business and his written estimates are VERY thorough. Some other contractors either gave outrageous prices or wouldn't put much down into writing so that I could see where the money was going. Anyway, we contracted ABE remodeling to do the job, and I've never regretted that choice. The team does great work, especially George - he is exceptional!! Very detailed and excellent craftsmanship on the shuffleboard table we asked him to build for us. Our job was not simple - there were many surprises and changes along the way. We ended up finding a leak in a drain that had rotted an entire structural wall, as well as poor condition to the plumbing throughout the house, which also needed to be repaired. It added extra expense to the project, but I'm so glad that Tim, George, and Josh were the ones we hired because other contractors may have just closed the walls back up without pointing out the problems that existed. Now we can be happy with the way it looks, but also safe and secure in the fact that our home will be in good condition for many years to come. I don't think I'll ever need to look for another contractor again because my wife and I are so comfortable with Tim and his family. I plan on having ABE back to replace my front door, replace some flooring on one level of my home, and install a bar. We are already working on the estimates. If you're looking for an honest contractor with high quality work who wants to upgrade your space to exactly how YOU want it to look, look no further!

Tim came to the house and told me I could not use replacement windows because of the rotted frames. He explained in detail what would have to be done to complete the project. The written paperwork was very complete on how the job would be done. George ,who installed the windows,was very knowledgeable and meticulous. I am very pleased with the finished project.

The workers completely removed all past materials and ceiling/walls back to the original structure of the house. Re-framed walls by furring with 2X4s and added insulation to outside walls which had been bare plaster right over brick walls. These walls had been very cold in the winter. Removed and replaced old wooden double hung windows which were very drafty. A new closet was built and new drywall and electrical also installed. The trim / woodwork around the door and windows was custom made to replicate existing trim in other areas of the house. Tim, Josh, and George listened to all of our concerns and requests throughout the process from preparing the proposal to a few added special requests, and addressed everything quickly and exactly the way we wanted. They also recommended some modifications/changes to improve the project - with no additional costs. The end project turned out great - even better than expected, and we had high expectations. The replicated moulding turned out very well and looks wonderful. The craftsmanship that went into this remodeling project was excellent. The cost was slightly more than we anticipated, but still within our budget. It was worth the cost however, considering how well it now looks. Everyone was very courteous, punctual, and communication was very good. Calls were always returned promptly and with the information requested. I was very happy with A.B.E. Remodeling and will definitely use them for any future projects.

A price of $1600.00 was agreed upon. When the job was completed we felt that the work done did not merit the original price agreed upon. We contacted ABE and the price was adjusted downward in the amount of $400. We were presently surprised that the adjustment was agreed upon with no argument. ABE had done major house renovation in the past so we felt we wanted to have them do this smaller job.

The project took longer than initially expected, but it was because of unexpected issues related to the age of my house and conditions that couldn't have been foreseen prior to the tear out. However, they were there every day, faithfully, until the project was completed. Also, they accommodated additional requests along the way that were not in the original contract. I really appreciated their flexibility without any reservations. It made me feel like my total satisfaction, when the job was complete, was their main concern. When the work was done, it was well worth the wait. Not only is my bathroom beautiful, I know the quality of materials used and the workmanship put forth were top notch. So, I know I won't have any major problems in the future. They tested everything along the way to make sure everything worked properly, which gives me a lot of peace of mind. ABE Remodeling has done work for me previously and I wouldn't trust anyone else to do a major project at my house. As usual, they exceeded my expectations, and I'm a very fussy customer. So, that's saying something.

A.B.E. Remodeling, Inc. did a fantastic job for various projects we had. The individuals on the 2 days that we needed projects completed, arrived on time, were very courteous, organized and professional. They accomplished all the jobs in an efficient, timely and complete manner. Everything was done as was specified. If there was a question or an opinion needed from us, they came and asked, and if it required their professional opinion regarding placement of an item or hardware to use to assemble an item, they gave it, but ultimately left it up to the to make the final decisions.

My experiences with them were good. They were here a month ago and it costed me $11000. The guy who did the work was quite meticulous and he made sure everything was well done. They were right there to answer my questions and communicated well. They were also punctual and they got the job done on good time.

Their service is great. They always call you back and do exactly what you want, even if it's not what you original thought. They are really helpful by provided suggestions to improve my ideas. They are also really clean and neat as can be. I never have to clean up after them. The price is the best, they are really good at what they do, and I am extremely satisfied with the service.

Absolutely did a wonderful job in both instances. Tim, Rich and George are great guys and fun to work with. Tim has been out a number of times to discuss the projects and provide the quotes. He's always willing to work with us to balance our ideas with our budget. He doesn't mind providing different quotes for the same job based on 'what-if' scenarios. George is a master craftsman in every sense of the word and is very particular about his work. As an example, before laying down the hardwood floor, he went through each piece of wood individually and grouped them by color nuances so the floor would look as harmonious as possible. He did the same with the ceramic tile when remodeling the bathroom. They go the extra mile to make sure the job is completed beyond our expectations. They are very considerate, clean and professional. Floors are covered with tarps to reduce dust and dirt. Everything is cleaned up and organized daily before they leave. We trust all three gentlemen implicitly as well and have no concerns allowing them full access to our house if we're not present. We will definitely be working with them on future projects.
