We were very apprehensive about needing extensive work done to waterproof our finished basement after experiencing massive flooding. From the moment we met Mike from A+ waterproofing, our minds were put at ease. He was very knowledgeable and presented us with many options to meet our needs. We were concerned how the process would affect our living space, since the basement was already finished. As soon as the A+ team arrived, they went above and beyond to ensure that their work was top notch. They went out of their way to clean up after themselves. From laying down floor mats, to vacuuming, and leaf blowing the yard of debris, these guys did it all. We are very satisfied with their work, customer service, and company as a whole. The finished result far exceeded our expectations and gave us peace of mind that the job was done correctly.

I had a crack in my foundation from years ago (before I bought the house) that had not be sufficiently repaired. I discovered that it wasn't sufficiently repaired during a tropical storm, when I had water start coming in through it. I received a call back promptly after submitting my quote on Angie's List. The man on the phone new exactly what needed to be done and explained the repair to me in detail. I was scheduled for the repair a few weeks out. The foreman and two other workers arrived. The foreman examined the crack and quickly went to work. The job was done within an hour and a half. The foreman also gave me tips for improving the drainage around my house. I am pleased with the quality of the repair and feel secure knowing they offer a lifetime warranty on the repair.

Responded quickly to assess needs. Of the four companies that came to provide assessments and estimates, Michael was the only one who found the foundation crack. He returned to repair it and since then there has been a lot of rain and no more leaking.

Called to reschedule an appointment because something important came up. Upon rescheduling, I mentioned he wouldn’t be the only company I’d seek consultation from, he then told me he wouldn’t be the cheapest option and that I should call whoever else I was going to call. To not “waste our time,” Is exactly what he told me. Was speechless when he said it, bad way to do business. First time home owner and first time dealing with a contractor, left a bad taste in my mouth. Will give someone else a try.

Michael responded quickly in coming out and refilled the areas previously worked on. I was pleasantly surprised he did not charge for the repairs even thought the original work was done 5 years ago. In addition, he was very professional as expected from the last time.

This is my second review for an additional project. In January, Michael injected foam into the stone foundation to stop water from seeping into the basement, which had flooded several times in a short amount of time. At that time, he gave us several suggestions of what we might need to do if the foam didn't work, including the possibility of a french drain and sump pump. He did not jump to the most expensive fix right from the start. We appreciated that. Over the next few months, we continued to get water. We needed the french drain and sump pump. When I called Michael, he quickly returned my call and got us on the schedule. I was so worried that the entire house would be filled with dust, but they did everything they could to keep the dirt to a minimum. The guys showed up early in the morning and worked hard all day. I have confidence that we will no longer have water in our basement. July 2018 update - The pump worked!!! It's been raining for days and our basement is dry. With a daily reading of how much water is being pumped from our basement, I can't thank Michael and his crew enough for solving our problem. We would have never been able to keep up with the amount of water this week. We would highly recommend A+ Waterproofing.

After 30+ years in our home, we had over 2" of water in our basement twice within a few weeks. I called for an appointment and was pleasantly surprised the owner answered and immediately set up a time to check out our problem. Michael discussed with us what he thought the problem was and gave us several options. He didn't start with the most expensive option, which we were grateful for. He was able to complete the job within a few hours and left the basement spotless. After the next rain, we couldn't believe Michael called us to see if we had anymore water. There was still a small issue, so he came back immediately and expanded on his original work. So far, so good. We haven't had any other issues. We would highly recommend A+.

I never worked with a more professional crew. They came when they said they would. The owner Michael returned all my calls. His crew was excellent. After the job was finished, they cleaned up the area to the point that you barely new that any one was there. You will not go wrong with Aplus Waterproffing.

I called Mike on Tuesday and he came out on Friday to diagnose the problem. He explained in detail why we had water in our basement and how he would fix it. They came the following week to fix it. They had to drill into the concrete inside our basement wall, lay a new pipe, and put new concrete over it. They also put new pipes outside our basement (connected to the downspout) to help the heavy downpour rains drain away from the house. They even pulled weeds at no extra cost- LOL. I definitely would hire Mike and his team again (hopefully we won't need to). They are top-notch and very clean.

I had several quotes from local basement water proofing companies for the water leak from the basement wall. As the job was for our first home that we've recently settled and this was the first time we hired the professional for the water proofing so I was careful to choose the right professional. Among the different quotes for the job (just water proofing on the wall) ranging from $550 from A+ water proofing to $5,000 from other local companies, A+ water proofing was the most straight forward and clear for me. They didn't scare me something (like excavating the concrete floor to put some trench system which costs couple of thousand dollars and so on) that I am not familiar with as a first home buyer and they didn't force me anything unnecessary unlike others. The job seemed to be done well and they offered me lifetime guarantee for the leak they have fixed. I will definitely hire the A+ water proofing again if we have other issues in the future.

Mike knew we had a time crunch and needed the company's services sooner rather than later, so he squeezed our job in to the already busy schedule. The job was done efficiently, the clean up was extremely thorough and they were done when they said they would be done. Very polite and friendly as well.

I found A+ Waterproofing after searching high and low for a reliable and reputable company to install and egress window in my basement. I spoke with Mike who was able to come out the same week and look at my basement where I wanted to have the window installed. My basement was already finished so I had trouble finding some one who would do the install without costing me an arm and a leg. Mike was able to provide me with a great quote along with his ideas on what type of shell I should have installed with good quality in mind. I liked his attitude and personality so I knew after meeting with him that I wanted to go with his company and I am glad that I did. Mike and his workers went above and beyond and their high quality workmanship shows. It was a two-day job but due to unforeseen circumstances it did take them two extra days but each day they arrived on time and kept things tidy when they left. The work area was clean, they put tarps down to protect the floors in my house including the carpeting in the basement. The guys did a great job with removing the finishing/paneled walls in my basement and then replacing them and adding the wood panels to give me back the finished look of the window, which I'll be panting white to match the colors in my basement. Overall, I am very happy with the finished product. It was not what I was expecting, but totally surpassed that. Everyone of the workers that I spoke to was nice and polite and Mike not only did a great job, but has a really great company! Thanks again Mike for working with me and thanks for all of your help.

Mike was outstanding. We met him at the Home Show in Allentown and immediately felt comfortable with his knowledge and professionalism. He came out within 2 days and was not daunted by the task. He felt confident he could fix it and this would be the LAST time it would have to be done. He got back to us after seeing the project with a detailed quote the next day! They blasted the top off and applied an expandable rubber like material in the cracks, sealed the top and applied a decorative fleck material and another sealer on top. We are thrilled with his work and the bonus is the product he put on top not only looks great but is functional so we can use it as an outdoor patio. No more lining up buckets under the 5 beams in the basement!!We have not experienced work like this for a long time. I was really happy with the work that Michael and his crew at A+ Waterproofing did. They installed a drain in a basement window-well along with a new sump pump. Michael is extremely professional and thorough. He came out for an estimate and explained everything in detail. Work was done on time and everything was perfectly clean when they were done. Michael is a rare find in the basement waterproofing business. He is honest, professional, and has integrity. I am extremely thorough and got estimates from 8 different companies for my situation. More than half of the companies tried to scare me into $15,000 fixes and would give me a discount if they could start at 8 am the next morning.
