+ -1 moreVery punctual, and professional. Office staff very pleasant, and fellow who did the work was a nice man. About as pleasant as septic pumping can be, I imagine.

+ -1 moreFrom the start they were professional and prompt. The tech who came out to my house the next day was prompt and knowledgable. He knew where to dig, and kept the lawn damage to a minimum which was good. When he was done, he cleaned up and was on his way. Overall a good experience, and I will call them again in a few years to service again.
Description of Work: Needed to have the septic system pumped out. System was working fine, it was just time to have it done.

+ 0 moreOverall, Allstate Septic as disappointing.
Description of Work: We are moving to Stroudsburg next month and our home inspector suggested that based on the absence of dye that was introduced into the toilets that there might be a problem with the pipe leading to the septic tank. I contacted Allstate Septic and asked that they empty the septic tanks as they were rather full, had not been cleaned in over a year and we wanted to know if the system might be broken. The home inspector suggested that it would be no more than $300 to clean the tank, but that, of course, was the home inspector's estimate. Allstate's estimate was $235 for the first 1000 gallons and 23 cents per gallon over 1000 . I received notice from my credit card company today that the charge was $411.00. When the tank was cleaned, Allstate's technician said that the toilets were flushed and waste water went into the tanks. He suspected for some reason however, that there was a damaged pipe somewhere coming from the house and Allstate wanted to do a visual inspection with a camera for a total of an additional $425.00. When we spoke to the owner, Bruce Fox, and asked how the tank would come to be filled if there was a broken pipe; and how would waste water be flowing into the tank if there was a broken pipe, he said he would speak to the technician and get right back to us. That's a call we never received and my feeling is that in the absence of an explanation from Mr. Fox, I may have been targeted for unnecessary work. Based on my experience, I would not recommend using Allstate Septic for anything. In my estimation, the way they do business stinks.
