Toran Heating & Air Conditioning

From start to finish, Arthur Toran was a professional who worked hard to get me exactly what I needed and was very patient with all of my questions and concerns. His crew was polite and obviously highly skilled, since our new furnace is running perfectly. His pricing was competitive and reasonable. Should we decide on central air conditioning, I will call Toran first. I would not hesitate to recommend Toran Heating and Air Conditioning and in fact will be recommending this company to my neighbor, who is also contemplating an oil to gas conversion.

Our old steam furnace went down on a weekend, and the first day I called Toran Heating and A/C, on Monday, Art answered, and said he would come out that afternoon to assess the situation. I was glad when he later told me they could do the job in two days, as opposed to a week, as was the first estimate. I have a 92 year old parent in the house, and the weather was expected to get very cold by weekend. The furnace and crew were on time, the two installers were very professional, knowledgeable, and accommodating. When they finished that evening, I can say I was very pleased with Art Toran and the men working for him.

The servicemen were on time and worked diligently the whole time until the job was done. They were very professional and even cleaned up after installing my new house heater. I would use their services again and would recommend them to anyone who has a heating and or plumbing issue.

My experience with Arthur was great. He came out to give me an estimate and his honest expert advise about what was going on and what needed to be done. It was pretty reasonable compared to the other quotes I had received. I had a family emergency the day he was expected to install and I had to leave a key for him. Everything was preformed as if I was there. He has called me several times after the installation to make sure everything was working properly and that I was satisfied. People just aren't doing that much these days. I would highly recommend Arthur with Toran Heating & Air Conditioning!

We are very pleased with Arthur and his team! Arthur came more than once to our house to check our project and give us a comprehensive estimate. Communication was wonderful! After making some research, I was interested in a 2-stage furnace and a certain brand, so he was able to get us the exact equipment. He worked with our timeline and did all the work in 2 days. We will certainly recommend Toran Heating & AC and will hire them again for our next project.

Art and team installed central air (needing new duct work) in my house as well as replaced a furnace that was 10 years old. The work took a couple of weeks to schedule due to the peak summer demand but was completed on time once scheduled. Expectations were on the same page from start to end and resulted in a successful install

It took 2 days and went very well. Electrical work needed to be updated and Art recommended an expert electrician to compliment his work. Monday morning I was sweating in the heat, by Tuesday morning I was sitting pretty in the coooollll air. Now I'm singing Art's praises. I recommend him and his team highly!

UPDATE: We hired Toran originally to put in new system back in March. Around July 13 we started having weird stuff happen. Fan ran all day but no cool air. With the temps rising we were not happy. Thought it was the Nest thermo because of the reviews we started reading. I had called Art and we talked but I told him we felt it was the Nest. He followed up with me to see how it was going and when I told him we were waiting on new Nest he told me he was coming over. How amazing is that? Well he came over, and found the problem! House is cooling off wonderfully. Toran stands behind their work..would hire him again, and recommend him to anyone that asks.

The project went well, the team was professional, punctual, creative and kept the work spaces clean (and when cutting plaster walls that's hard to do!). They found ways to get ducting into rooms we originally thought was impossible. We are very pleased with the new system.

Art promptly returned my call and showed up as promised for our initial visit. All work was done as promised. We called with one issue shortly after the installation and someone was out the next day. We highly recommend Art and his crew.

Fast, friendly. both the owner and the installers. Installers were happy to explain things as they worked. 1K under the other guy's estimate. This firm gets back to you on weekends.

Excellent work. Art from Toran was diligent and his team was efficient and thorough. Art's follow-through was helpful in receiving rebates from PGW and PECO. He also checked in to be sure our units were working properly.

Amendment to earlier review: Toran did close up the opening through the outside wall. In order to install the inside unit, they needed to to cut open a dry wall so the pipes to the inside unit would not be visible. It was not part of their job to fix the dry wall. I am extremely pleased with their job and can recommend the highly.

The service was excellent. All work was completed quickly. Our steam heating system has been working perfectly ever since installation. The team, including Mr. Toran, was punctual, respectful, and made sure the work area was neat and clean after installation. We could not have asked for a better experience, and would recommend them to others without reservation.

What a great experience. A rare company that knows what it is doing and does it well. Toran personnel were on time and professional. They stated late to finish our installation before a major snow storm came . I cannot say enough about how good this company is...recommend them to anyone looking for a HVAC product.

My furnace died a week before Christmas. Art and his team replaced my heating and A/C unit in one day. Toran heating saved Christmas!
