SK Heating & Air Conditioning

My condominium requires that our heating and air conditioning unit be serviced annually. When I had trouble scheduling something with the recommended companies, I found SK Heating and Air Conditioning on Angie's List. Saki, the technician, was not only punctual but extremely cordial. He provided a detailed, straight-forward explanation of the work he was doing. He was thorough and neat. I will definitely be using SK Heating again.

I've used him before; as usual, he clearly explained the problem, was punctual, professional, and you got the clear sense that he wasn't ripping you off.

Saki came this morning following my call yesterday for a leaking furnace. He checked it out and advised that it was probably a problem with the pipe in the wall, and therefore didn't want to start replacing HVAC parts that may not need to be replaced. He offered to do the work, or suggested other ways I could do it. I appreciated his honesty and professionalism, and scheduled an appointment for later in the Spring for an AC cleaning!

He showed up on time and the entire service took approximately 35-40 minutes. He explained what he did and made some suggestions.

I was not present, but am told everything went well.

It went very well. At each step Mr SK explained to me what he was doing and why, a good education on top of a good value for his service.

The service was excellent. We called after having issues with our heating system on a Monday afternoon. Saki was able to make it to our house within 30 minutes, look over our issue and perform some minor service.

Our blower motor was making intermittent noises and producing a terrible burning smell. Curiously, when SK arrived, the noise and the smell had stopped (typical). He examined the unit, told us the motor was dying, but could continue to work for a while. He also gave us the option of replacing it now, which we did. No pressure. Excellent. Quick response (immediately responded to my emails). He took the time to explain how the unit works, tagged the important parts such as gas shut off valve, ect .. . Very professional. Right on time.

Arrived on time and didn't take long to completed the job.

We noticed a burning smell coming from our air ducts last night. Given the tempurature is zero, we made many calls to different providers as soon as we were able. Saki had the soonest time slot available and I am very thankful for that. He was extremely professional, prompt (called ahead ti let us know he was en route) and was able to diagnos the problem quickly. He then went out to get parts and immediately returned and replaced our motor. He gave us the pros and cons of our old system without any sort of sales pitch whatsoever and also made some helpful suggestions for how we could improve what we currently have. I plan to use him for servicing going forward and cannot recommend him highly enough.

Saki arrived early promptly servicing the heating unit in a very professional manner. He gave me an accurate account of what was needed for the unit to continue to operate properly. He charged a fair price and I will definitely use his services in the future! highly recommend

Saki was prompt and very knowledgeable. He did a great job installing the humidifier. He also explained everything he was going to do before he did it. He has a special for $449, which is the best price I could find. I highly recommend him and will be using SK Heating and Air Conditioning in the future.

Saki arrived right on time, placed his boot protectors on and went right to work. He explained everything he was doing step by step and also labeled everything having to deal with the furnace. He is very detailed and willing to answer any question that you ask him about your furnace. I will be using him to service my AC for the summer. He brings an "old school" approach were he is the guy that owns the company and he is the guy that does all the work, him and only him. I would recommend him highly.

I don't normally hop onto Angie's List the day of service, but I felt compelled to seeing how great the level the level of service was that I received today: Excellent communication with the owner of the company from Day 1 that I purchased the deal. He contacted me right away. We picked a day and time for the cleaning and inspection of (2) forced air gas furnaces at my rental property. Scheduling was a breeze and he was able to work around my schedule. Communication the day of was good too, he even arrived early to do the service (almost never happens with other providers). I was running errands down the street and he even waited for me to return. Took about an hour to do both heaters and everything checked out great. He even took the time to explain the heaters, how they work, what can go wrong, advice about what type of filters to use, etc. Truly an all around great guy. I will be using him for all future heater service/repair. Overall satisfaction = A+++

The Heating system is gas hot water with a Crown boiler that was installed when renovating the two story twin 11 years ago. Every time Saki came out & replaced another part, he thought it was fixed but I would get another call from my tenants telling me it was 60 degrees again. After I received the 4th call that there wasn't any heat, I called another landlord who gave me Dennis Capuano who meet me, spent about three hours analyzing the boiler, he called the "tech" for Crown & they concluded it was a bad ground. He drove to Crown the next morning, picked up a new ground wire & also picked up another Pilot Assembly because the new one that Saki installed was the wrong one. Heat is working great !

Provider was professional and helpful. Taught me a lot about my furnace. He even showed me how to clean the filter on my dehumidifier!

Our home heater had not been acting quite right and was taking 15-20 minutes to kick on when the thermostat was turned up. After checking Angie's List, I found SK Heating & Air Conditioning's listing. I called this morning and not only was I able to reach them immediately but also the gentleman I spoke with was completely professional and happy to help. Saki visited our home the same day! After a cleaning of our system and a full check of the equipment, our heater is working just fine now. I've already put a reminder on my calendar to call him back in the Spring for a full check & cleaning of our A/C unit as well. Couldn't have asked for a better experience!
