The service technician was very nice and professional. As a new homeowner I bought the cleaning mainly to make sure all of the systems were working properly. He only cleaned the outside unit but did check levels to make sure everything was working. He found that a relay on the outside unit showed signs of wear and said although it worked it might not get me through the summer. I thought the price of $179 was a little high but had him fix it. After seeing what was involved, I could have made the repair myself for cheaper. Good experience otherwise!

SK was right on time. He was extremely professional and very nice. He performed all work needed and gave me a update on my cooling system. He told me I should try and keep my coils clean and thankfully everything was in great shape. I will be sure to use him again in the future.

Saki was very professional and courteous from the start. He arrived exactly when he said he would and did not charge anything for the service call itself. He checked various parts of the air conditioner and recommended replacing 2 parts (capacitor and contactor) in order to prevent any damage to the whole unit, which he said was working very well despite its old age. I really felt that I could trust Saki, as he explained what he did and measured. So we went ahead and did the repairs. Saki was very clear that replacing these parts would not necessarily help the unit function better, but it would allow the old unit to keep running for several more years. In the end, looking online I found that his prices were quite high (each of the 2 parts itself should be no more than about $30), so most of the $400 cost was labor (about 1 hour), with the caveat that this cost may be normal for Philadelphia. Despite the cost, I would definitely call Saki again and would recommend him to others, given his very professional attitude and that he really seems like someone I could trust (which is quite rare, in my opinion).

This guy was very professional, knew what he was doing, worked clean (wore polyethylene booties so as not to track dirt around) and just generally gave the impression of competence. I recommend him with no reservations.

We are in the process of selling our home and one of the items on the home inspection list was a requested service of our home heating system. We searched Angie's List for technicians and deals and found SK, who had a special on a heating system service. Excellent communication from the beginning, he responded right away and we scheduled a date to come to our home. He was also flexible, as we had to change the date and he was able to reschedule another time that was convenient for us. Once at our home, he was courteous, knowledgeable and efficient, and we really appreciated his candor and honesty. Highly recommended!!

I thought it was a little expensive but I don't know what the value of the two parts are. He did show me that they were not performing as they should and could possibly fail, so I allowed him to replace them.

The AC wasn't working prior to inspection. $200 was the cost of the inspection and the repair. He took the time to answer my questions about the AC and about my old furnace that I will be replacing. On-time and friendly.

Went very well. Saki was very efficient and effective. He explained what the problem was and asked me if I wanted him to repair it. The service was performed in short order. The air conditioner cooled the apartment down and has been working properly. Saki is a one man operation who genuinely has the customers best interest at heart. Went well, he told me that the voltage regulator was on its way out. he said it didn't need to be replaced immediately but its days were numbered. he gave me the price of replacing it and told me to call him when it breaks, he obviously suggested not waiting until it breaks to replace it though.

It was a pleasure to do business with Saki, the owner/operator of SK Heating and AC. Not only was he prompt but, prior to the visit, he called twice to give me updates on his ETA. When he arrived he asked me, "What are your expectations?" After I answered the question he told me what was included in the Angie's List deal. He then proceeded to do exactly what he explained. However, he then pointed to a particular part and said it might be compromised by rust. I thought to myself, "Oh, oh, here it comes. I'm going to get the usual nonsense that you get with an unscrupulous automobile repair service - this part needs to be replaced and it's going to cost you X amount of dollars." He took out a fancy meter and hooked it up to the part to test its output levels. To my great surprise and gratitude, he declared, "The readings are within specifications and this part is working efficiently. The rust is superficial and is not affecting your unit in any way." I asked him for several business cards because, not only do I want to continue to utilize his services, this is the kind of honest service person that I want to recommend to my friends and family.

Simply put - ALL service technicians should be like Saki! In fact, he could quit his HVAC job and coach companies on customer service. With the HVAC industry filled with up-selling techs (salespeople trained to service or vice versa) trying to sell you from a simply service call, Saki is the exception. He was prompt, clean-cut, professional and well-spoken. He took time to clearly spell out his methods and diagnose any issues. We were so impressed with his service, I asked him to work on our second HVAC unit after the original service call. There was NO sales pitch, no pressure and in fact, DISCOURAGED me from hundreds of dollars of preventative maintenance. Although humble, he said he hopes to earn our long-term business and up-selling is not his way of gaining long-term customers. Do not hesitate to call SK. You will not be disappointed.

Terrific experience from start to finish. Saki, the company owner, responded very quickly to my request for service and made an appointment convenient for my own schedule. He did a complete diagnostic on my AC unit and explained everything in a much clearer manner than any other AC service provider ever had before. The unit was very low on coolant but everything else was in good working order. More often than not, a heater or AC service call includes a push to replace the system. Saki however assured me that with proper maintenance, my system has quite a bit of life left in it. Music to my ears! After this great experience, I can't imagine using any other company for heating and AC service. Super-highly recommended!

Performed a tune up on my air conditioning unit. Found an issue and fixed it. I use this company twice a year for heating and air conditioning tune ups.

SK was terrific, we had a frozen unit that he found while inspecting the system. He left and said he'd be back the next day to check it when it thawed out. He came back the next day to find it re-frozen. He was patient and helped defrost the unit, then installed metal straps to better secure the filters, cleaned the entire unit and had the system running colder than before. Overall a great experience. I would let him know if you have a system in an attic or roof if you live in Philly. We have a second zone that is challenging to get to and he preferred not to service this unit due to their location. When scheduling, I recommend that you describe the location to ensure you wont waste his or your time.

Saki was INCREDIBLE! Explained EVERYTHING. Spent a lot of time trying to trouble-shoot other A/C issues. Polite, friendly,and honest.
