I was very impressed with Gary and his team at Legacy Construction. He was very professional and responsive to my questions and provided knowledgeable answers. He also provided before and after pics and videos of the work in the roofs (main and sunroom) and the gutter system replacement and always kept me informed of their progress. In fact, I plan to use them again for additional home projects!

Vanity was installed quickly and professionally. Would use again. 👍

From the beginning, I signed Legacy because they were highly responsive, modern, transparent, and logical. This remained true throughout the course of the project, and I’m extremely glad that I chose them. Some general said “a battle plan rarely survives first contact with the enemy”. Mike Tyson said “everybody has a plan til they get punched in the mouth”. The estimate was detailed and reasonable, but when they opened up my old house and found some unexpected conditions - THAT’S when Legacy really proved their worth, by being up-front and transparent, bringing in the right skilled trades to suggest options, and then allowing me to make informed decisions, and charging me a very fair price for the changes. Thanks to Diane’s frequent and clear updates, I always felt in control of my budget, never rushed or railroaded. Thanks to Gary’s patience, experience, and clear communication, I actually learned quite a lot and fully understood the choices I was making with respect to short-term value, safety, and long-term investment in my home. From beginning to end, I had a fantastic experience, and I plan to use them on any (and every) future project!

The services performed were very professional. Work completed with owner's approval. Diane as well as Gary went beyond their assigned job responsibility to keep me updated with the schedule as well as recommendations for each job completed.

Overall it was really great to work with Legacy. Gary and Diane were on top of each step with me and made sure I had a full understanding of what was going on and what to expect. In a time where it can be hard to have projects move forward, Legacy worked hard to ensure we were able to complete in a timely manner even when unforeseen house items came up. Gary gave me a detailed explanation as to what was going on with my water leakage. He offered several remedies with estimates and insight into what choice he would make, as the property owner, in my situation.

It went great! We've used Legacy for several mid-sized projects and are looking to hire them for a few more. This time around they replaced three old mechanical windows, identified where the leaks and draft were coming from, and got everything sorted. They provided a good recommendation on the type of windows that work for us, and the crew was swift and efficient.

Legacy did a great job! They took full pictures and video of the problems in my old roof, and then provided after pictures when the job was complete. Their roofing guys were totally independent - the only way we knew they were there was the sound of the footsteps. Legacy was here when they promised to be, wrapped up when they were supposed to and did great work for us.

We contacted Legacy Construction for an estimate back in December 2020. We had a few phone meetings, and even drafted up everything we were looking to have done to our home. Measurements were included. Gary came out on site to talk with us and see everything. I just received an email Feb 2021 stating that they cannot accommodate us. I would not recommend this company. I felt that Gary was insightful, but he also didn't seemed to be focused on what we wanted done for the work we were asking for, and we did our research. He even asked us to demo more after his visit and send him pictures (pictures he would never use apparently). Our email requests for a status on the quote went unanswered. Legacy eventually emailed me saying they declined the estimate request after 2 MONTHS. It was such a waste of time. They wasted 2 months of our time and could not even give us an estimate, even after multiple phone conferences and an onsite visit. Do not bother.

Very well. Basement repairs completed to satisfaction, any issues that arose were remedied by the contractor pretty quickly.

I had contracted with Legacy Construction to do a roof and two windows replacement in mid-August 2020. Gary and Diane were my direct contacts for the project and was initially quoted the project will start 2-3 weeks after the contract was signed. Weeks have gone by and I kept hearing one excuse after another as to why the project is delayed. After six weeks in, I still didn't hear any word from Gary or Diane, and by this time, was very frustrated and concern the project will never start. I reached out to either Diane or Gary over this period to check-in and get some form of status updates, but was met with excuses and delays. By mid-October, Diane email me to ceased the contract without warning and used the excuse of needing 2-3 of clear weather to do the work when in the same week we had just that. I put in a security deposit of ~$4,000 for a ~$16,000 project that never started and until this day, I still didn't receive a refund for my security deposit. This company is dishonest and does not operate with integrity. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

I had a tree fall on my house back in June 2020 which caused major damage to the back of my home. I called several contractor's but I wasn't pleased with their assessment. I then came across Legacy Construction and they were great from the start. I spoke to Mrs. Diane on the phone and she was great, she gathered a lot of information from me and told me that I was in good hands and informed me that Gary the project manager will be contacting me shortly. After speaking to Gary he explained to me the first thing that needed to be done is the property needed to be tarped asap because the home is being exposed to water which is causing further damage and causing mold to building up because water has been coming into the property for almost two months. Gary informed me step by step room by room what damages the tree caused and how he was going to fix the water damages and the damages done to the frame of the home. After speaking to Gary I was sold and stopped looking for a contractor to fix my house. I would definitely recommend Legacy Construction to anybody that needs work done to their home. Their customer service and workmanship is great I would highly recommend.

Williams said I needed new windows at top and bottom of house. I gave a 1/3 downpayment on August 23. Assured me work would be completed in September. Work did not begin until October 16! Still was not completed as of November 11. Perhaps my job was too small? Ended up paying $3666. Will need another contractor to complete work. Don't know where all these positive reviews are coming from. So unfortunate--I was hoping this would work out.

Gary and the team from Legacy Construction did an excellent job on a challenging project. The project consisted of a repair to the main joists and header supporting the stairs and bathroom and a full remodel of the bathroom above. They were prompt, efficient, professional, communicative and fairly priced. I would definitely consider Legacy again for future projects.

It went great. I was kept informed and updated through out the process. They came when they said they would and finished on time. They did a great job with my project, and I will be using them again for future projects

Gary and Justin were extremely responsive, courteous, and professional. They did high quality work in repairing an unusual problem that other contractors were not eager to perform. Gary was very helpful in suggesting various options to allow future cleaning of the drier vent and ducts, and updated the project estimates so that I would know the cost of each option. The cost was higher than other estimates, but the quality of their work and the customer service was definitely worth the price. I would highly recommend them and would work with them in the future.

Slight delay but that was due to the difficulty in getting the materials, not the fault of the contractor. When everything was finally available, they were able to finish the job in one day. They were very good at getting things done and left the sight very clean, taking away all the trash so I didn’t have to be bothered with it.

Gary and team were were detailed and professional. We have 100-year old stone home, so a few unexpected things came up during the project pushing out the completion and an increase in price, but all within reason and all thoroughly explained throughout the process.

Working with Legacy Construction was a phenomenal experience. They were able to provide me an estimate based on photos of the problem areas, and got me onto their schedule quickly. When the crew came out, they were extremely professional, courteous, and did an all around excellent job. While they were on site, I asked if they could hang some shelves in a tricky spot, and they were able to accommodate with a very slight change to the work order. All aspects of the work turned out beautifully. They even called the next day to ensure we were completely satisfied with the completed project, and that the exterior door had no additional problems sticking or latching. They will be first on my list to call when I need more work done, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to any of my neighbors.
