WORST SERVICE ON THE MARKET. THIS COMPANY LEFT MY GRANDMOTHER $14k in DEBT, after recommending top teir gutters. The gutters were NOT needed. Not only did the company install the gutters poorly, they do not work. They do not work because she needs a roof, not new gutters. This horrible company recommended $14k gutters when a ROOF was needed. Now she will have to take down the gutters, and put up a new roof. KICKER - they fell into her garage door and left it damaged/non-functioning. DO NOT ..... I REPEAT ..... DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. You can see in the pictures below how gutters should never have been installed on this house. Also can see how they do not work (icicles behind). Imagien $14k for gutters that do not work. RUN from Home Genius. After you agreed to talk at 9:30am I called you exactly at that time, you did not call me back until 11:50am in which you apologized for missing my call and told me you appreciated with me sticking with it. I too am a busy person and scheduled phone calls with other customers as well as additional meetings when you gave me the agreement of 9:30am. These guys are the best! I was a little skeptical about them at first because they were just people that knocked on our door, so I thought what will it hurt just to get another estimate. I am so glad we did. They have the best customer service around. They were very pleasant to talk to, were very knowledgeable about everything and so meticulous about cleaning everything on our windows and the trim and even our floors. They would not leave until they cleaned our floors due to the salt from the snow not that they made a mess. I never seen or worked with anyone that efficient in every way! Would definitely recommend them for a job that anyone needs 100% satisfied.

The entire commercial experience with the team at Home Genius Exteriors was outstanding. From sales presentation, property assessment, consistent high quality contact from personnel to the completed project could not be better. Everyone we encountered were knowledgeable, efficient, and on time as promised.. Work crews cleaned up at the end of the day as if they had not been there.. My project manager for this portion of the work was Joe and his team were the ones up on my roof doing the work. All of them did a phenomenal job! Joe was extremely communicative and helpful and everyone who worked on the house was super kind and fast. The whole thing was over so quickly I’m still a little headspun! Highly recommended and endorsed!

Joe and his crew did a great job installing 40 windows to my multi unit in a day and a half. All the tenants were happy with how neat and quick they were

I was extremely worried when I found a leak coming from our roof. When Home Genius Exteriors came out Ryan explained everything very clearly, made me feel comfortable and wasn't scared to get to access any small areas of the attic. Once Joe and his team came out my roof and gutters were done in one day! Joe returned the following day for a final walk through to make sure we weren't anything less than satisfied. Thank you for your wonderful customer service.

The guys were great, everything was communicated in a timely fashion and the estimated time they gave to complete the work was exactly the time it took. They cleaned up after, and Joe—the project manager—came by the day after completion to inspect and clean up anything that was missed. Roof and gutters look great.

Company is very professional clean up was good and all the workers and project manager were very friendly and communicated through the whole process

Crew came at about 8 am and took our old roof off put a new one on and did the gutters and were done by 2:15

They came on time and stayed late to finish. And cleaned up after themselves along with my neighbors property (we live in a Townhouse). Very easy to deal with and we had Joe as the project manager. He was so nice and we will definitely be having other work done by them!

Do yourself a favor and go with a small contractor that will be "hands on". There were so many people involved in the job process and NO ONE talked to each other. Advised the salesman we just had a contractor, less than 3 weeks ago, re-attach gutters and put new gutter guards on (drone photos showed the new guards). When we had to go to the house to get the crew electric (crew did not bring a generator), crew was ripping EVERYTHING off!!! When we spoke to the Project Manager by cell phone, (who was not on site, nor was a job foreman - only non English speaking workers), we were advised, they were not responsible for gutter guards, per the contact we signed. After a HUGE disagreement, Project Manager agreed to replace destroyed gutter guards. And? An hour into the job, someone called us and advised us we needed new gutters. This gent was not even to our house- he was at another customer's location. So, the non English speaking crew called him and told him we needed new gutters????? We

The job started promptly and the siding looks beautiful. They left trash in our yard and we were promised a project manager daily. This did not happen. I had to be outside everyday to make sure that things were being done correctly. It took forever for them to pick up leftover materials and the extra dumpster. My biggest complaint is the financing. I was promised 1 year interest free. When the finance company called they had no idea what I was talking about. I reached out to Home Genius several times and they have not returned any of my calls. Buyer beware, it was a hard sell and I was exhausted by time they left. I did not do my do diligence. Do not sign anything without thoroughly reading it.

Installation did not go well. Installers did not speak English so we could not communicate with them. They didn’t clean up nails and scraps until after the third day, so nails were in the lawn and bushes, and on sidewalks and the driveway. Even after two “final cleanups” we were still finding nails everywhere. Unfortunately I missed one nail on the driveway and got a flat tire on my bicycle tire. The installers also ripped 12 window screens, covered my dryer vent with siding and knocked out a 6”chunk of masonry which they attempted to cover up with flashing and siding. Unfortunately the siding had to be removed so a proper repair could be made. I definitely would not recommend Home Genius Exteriors to my friends and neighbors.

The job went exceptionally well and my project manager was a huge help in assisting during the project.

Had roof replaced in January. Now June and roof shingles are buckling so bad can literally stick my hand in the gap!!!

Company is horrible, their salesmen are the worse. He was very pushy and asking personal questions. Wouldn’t give me time to go over financials and make sure I was making the right decision. Kept saying this has to get signed right now. The initial quote was absolutely absurd. The communication within the company must be horrible as well. There was a salesman that kept harassing me even days after the project was completed. Then the workers were peeing all over my property, just a few feet away from my daughter’s window. Luckily for him my children weren’t home at the time. The only good thing I have to say is the guy Chuck was pretty good, but unfortunately (not his fault) not good enough for me to recommend the company. I would never recommend this company to anyone ever and will be making a formal complaint about the workers who are on camera peeing on my property, even after I offered my bathroom to them to use if necessary. 1 star because I can’t give 0

I got a consultation and inspection of my new property and was very pleased with Rachel and Chris' candor and directness. No hitting around the bushes, straight up let me know strengths and weaknesses and helped me better understand where things stand and what I need to do next. Thanks again, Rachel and Chris!

Regarding my previous post, (K. O. 7/26/23) after discussing my issue with the company, the salesperson and company were very responsive to my concerns and identifies and rectified the misunderstanding regarding our billing dispute. They showed great customer service and an ability to work with customer disputes in an amicable way. As far as the actual job they did a great job on the roof and got the job done quickly. As a result, I would recommend the company as a whole again, as I appreciated their ability to address my concerns. I am writing this message because ANGI REVIEWS DEPARTMENT DID NOT delete my last review (as I asked them to). Angi reviews has given me the run around and has made it difficult to redact a poor review that was rectified. I appreciate Home Genius Exteriors willingness and ability accommodate legitimate customer concerns and recommend their work to anyone interested.

Wonderful service from the beginning, polite and considerate, did exactly what we asked. Worked with us with our monthly payment plan. Follow up was excellent from staff members. No down payment was required to perform job

To Whom It May Concern: As in my previous review with my first house, HGE roof and gutters comes highly recommended! Especially for anyone who has had to contend with contractor "ghosting"! In our experience, HGE "hit it out of the park" on the my first and then again on the second house a week later! The professionalism and workmanship of the roofing and gutter team, was top of the line. They wrapped up in a couple of days, fulfilling on their promised - "turn-around", delivering a high quality roof and gutter system. We couldn't be more pleased with the results at both homes! Where we did have an issue, HGE's Project Coordinator Emily D. owned the problem through to resolution! There was some driveway damage when the dumpster was delivered at the second home. And when I sent the picture to Emily D. she jumped on it and over a few weeks, coordinated between the dumpster and asphalt companies until repair was scheduled and completed to our satisfaction. In summary, it was truly a pleasure to meet with Matt C. for the preliminary assessment and contracting for both projects. He is an avid professional who confidently and tactfully shared product and company information; the HGE and Owens-Corning product and the workmanship warrantees. The logistics were expertly coordinated by Emily D., her particular professionalism and work ethic. As noted, she went "above an beyond" to ensure customer satisfaction, getting the driveway damage resolved, keeping us informed through-out, so our concerns were at a minimum through completion of the repair work. Again, the construction work/clean-up commenced under the lead of Mike B./Project Manager. The best part, No Contractor nightmares and where there were issues, HGE owned it!

Highly recommended to anyone who has had to the misfortune of contending with the all too common contractor nightmares! In the end, it was hard not to move forward especially with the "no money down" aspect of the contract! The roof on the first property in Easton was in poor shape, clearly long overdue for an overhaul. We knew it was going to be a major undertaking. And so going into it, I was nervous, expecting the worse and really not looking forward to dealing with disappearing contractors. So I posted the work in Angi and waited, monitoring responses for a few months. The most persistent was Home Genius Exteriors (as you might gather from the other reviews). We considered it an investment in the home and with a little reinforcement of some BBB research, we were good to go. We made the appointment and what we walked away with was comfort, trust and confidence. The negotiations were reasonable, straightforward and in my opinion, fairly priced. HGE fulfilled on on their promised - "one day turn-around" and delivered a high quality roof and gutter system. We couldn't be more pleased with the results! So pleased in fact, we booked HGE for a second property in Schnecksville! In summary, it was truly a pleasure to meet with Matt C. for the preliminary assessment and contracting for both projects. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! Ordered 10 windows April ‘22. Told 10 weeks for delivery. Over 4 months later windows came in, 6 were sized incorrectly(manufacturers error) and one was cracked during installation. Caulking job inside was sloppy & they left us with a clear glass window inside a shower (supposed to be frosted) for over two weeks before returning to apply a privacy coating. Then we were told 5 weeks for correct windows to be delivered. It is now end of November and no new windows installed. The manufacturer has been incompetent and getting answers/updates is a nightmare. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY IF YOU NEED WINDOWS.
