Description of Work: As a general contractor my client decided to use this company to purchase three base cabinets for a wet bar as part of a basement remodeling project that we did for her. After more than three decades in business I've been exposed to many vendors, good and bad. This company falls into to the bad vendor category and I would never work with Mr. Stein again. He sold my client (who trusted him to steer her in the right direction) poor quality cabinetry that he told her was good quality. The cabinets were left on the sidewalk outside of his store for pickup despite my staff calling and confirming exactly when they would be there to pick up the materials. The cabinets were damaged and we had to fix them and reienforce them to accept a granite counter top. As a general contractor with decades of experience I was dismayed by the lack of business acumen and poor people skills that Ed Stein utilized in my contact with him. My staff had to call repeatedly to find out when they were coming out to install the granite counter top only to find out the one time he answered his phone that they were "in route to the job site". Minor technicality that he never called us or the client to make an appointment, but just assumed that we would be there??
