Michael was professional and knowledgeable, explained the repair needed in everyday language I could understand. Fit me into his busy schedule for an emergency repair at a very reasonable cost. Cook's will be me go-to for all air conditioning and heating repairs in the future. He also let me know he offers twice yearly checkup programs for a discounted cost.

Mike Cook is absolutely amazing. Our central air conditioning/heat pump unit stopped working and was also leaking water. As it turned out, the HVAC system was a mess due to previous questionable repairs made by OTHER companies. And as a result, Mike was faced with several big challenges with our system, but not beyond the scope of his skill level and talent. And most importantly he has the willingness and drives to stay until the job is done and the system is up and running better than ever. I can't thank him and recommend him enough. The overall cost was more than I was expecting, so there was some sticker shock. The owner/service tech was polite and thorough.

Mike is friendly, prompt, courteous and efficient. It's hard to find local HVAC contractors able to service mini-split systems. Most either say they can't, or in one case came out and fooled around with the system like a 3-year-old trying to fix a space shuttle, muttering "Different. Different" until l told him to push off. Mike knows his stuff.

Very prompt in responding to initial inquiry. Arrived on time for ALL appointments and performed work professionally and neatly as promised. Went above by handling furnace warranty claims, communicated well and was very polite. When we had a problem right afterwards, he came back right away to diagnose and resolve the problem without charge EVEN when we found that it was a problem caused by the previous HVAC person using low quality signal wires. I will recommend Michael highly and will be using him in future HVAC needs.

I called Cook's Heating & Air-Conditioning due water coming out of the pressure relief valve of my boiler. Mike called back 10 min after I left a message and arrived at my house less than 2 hours later. He quickly diagnosed the problem and made a quick fix. Mike then performed a routine boiler maintenance and cleaning service and checked the functioning of the heating throughout my house (radiators on three floors). He only charged me for the boiler maintenance, for which I was grateful. I'll definitely be hiring Mike for my future heating or AC needs, and will recommend him to my friends and neighbors.

Mike (he is the owner) called me right away and asked good questions about what was going on with my two heating and air conditioning units. He explained his background and experience in HVAC and I felt comfortable in setting up an appointment to have him come out to tune up my heaters for this winter. We set up the appointment and Mike was on time, (actually early) and started the tune ups where he vacuumed, inspected the wiring, cleaned the burners, the igniters, made certain that all the safety components were good, and made sure the filters were clean. I appreciated that he showed me the wear on the igniters, and recommended that they be changed out sooner than later, to prevent a heater failure in the future. He also took the time to inspect one of air conditioning units for pressure and Freon levels, and I will use Cook's for that A/C job in the future. Thanks Mike!
