Junior is an amazing man. He came in with his family, after fixing all the issues I had with my rental unit the previous year, and gutted all the issues out and redid everything. The work he does is amazing and he put in some real highend material at cost to give my rental a touch of class because it would give me more revenue to lean back on. This contractor is a man of his word and the only thing that kept him down was a streak of horribly hot weather where he got sick from suffering severe heat exhaustion.
Description of Work: I had my rental property revamped after a horrible tenent. I had to gut the entire house due to all the damage, and redo all the fixtures and hardware.

Working with this family was a great opportunity to show what true craftsmanship is about, her rental unit was built in the late 1860's and was destroyed by a tenant. We had to completly gut the unit and while doing so we brought the unit up to present code. I obtained several hight end items that normaly you would not use in a rental and gave them to them at cost. They had a major setback due to this tenant so I felt it was only right to repair this unit to better than it was so they could continue on with their lives and not have to worry about this unit, to us it was all about paying it forward.

He started the job and made a real mess. He left nails and tar paper everywhere. He wouldn’t return phone calls. He wouldn’t show up when he said he would. I had to pay to have him served but he gave a false address. I paid 50% up front and not even that much of the work was done. I had to then pay another company to come and fix the work. This was not the first time he had done this either I found out after the fact.
Description of Work: I contracted with him to do a replace my roof.

Response from New Phase Remodeling
The member has the facts twisted to her liking, the roof was completed in a timly fashion, nothing was left on the ground because she had neighbors on both sides of her and we do not leave a dirty job site, second she states the house was built in 2010 this is also not the truth the home is a row home that was built in the early 1900's. We had very little contact with her due to the fact that she did not live the residence. We were hired to install a new asphalt roof that was leaking into the kitchen area, after the roof was repaired and was not leaking we went inside and removed the dropceiling and lath and plaster, we found that the water caused extensive damage to the electrical service and was also knob and tube, we explained to her that a permit had to be obtained and that we could not repair the electrical before we got one, her tenant at the time was a real estate agent told her that she could have this repaired without a permit, which was untrue. Code dictates that you can not add conventional wiring to knob and tube, once knob and tube is found and has to be repaired you have to rewire the home. We told the tennant because we could not reach the member by phone and that until we obtained a permitall work was suspended and that this was not part of the orginal estimate, this was in excess of a year now and now she decides to give me a bad reveiw. If this is checked into you will find that the house in question is not in allentown as she states in her complaint, also was not built in 2010 but in the 1900's and my company has not moved since our opening so the facts she has stated are all false. She wanted us to do the work illegally and at our cost and we obligated to do the roof which was done and is not leaking. Our obligation to her stoped when we were expected to do something that was not leagal and morally incorrect, the home was for sale shortly after we left so if she brought someone else in to do the kitchen ceiling I hope that company did not fall for her mistruths and cover up the problems that this home had or still has.
