I contacted Russel through Angist list. He responded me very promptly. Once we had the playset delivered, he arranged soonest appointment for us within 2 days. Brain and the other team mate came and set it up in less than 3 hours. Brain told us this is the 6 sets of same playset he had installed in the past weeks...so he is very familiar to this and gets very effecient to work on ours. this experience has been wonderful and i will definitely recomend Swingset man to anyone who needs the installation service.

I had originally emailed Mr. Huber to get a quote on a swingset. I responded quickly with a quote for a specific swingset that I had asked about. I emailed him again with a different swingset and he gave me a quote for that one. A few days later, I had emailed him with the delivery date and asked him his availability. He got back to me quickly with his first available date. He was very responsive throughout the process. He informed me who would be coming. Tino (the installer) was very courteous and professional. The crew did a great job getting the swingset installed. It took them about 5 hours to get it done. I had gotten quotes from 2 other companies. This company was the cheapest and I did not sacrifice service going with the cheapest guy. One company was a lot more money. The other company was a little bit more, but never got back to me.

Great service and value. Installed a large wooden swingset for us in just a few hours. Very prompt response to inquiry with a very nice price. Showed up on time, very courteous, efficient and cleaned up without issue. Would definitely recommend.

Submitting this review on behalf of my daughter: Russel (the owner of the company) was amazing! I was on a very tight timeframe, i.e. I contacted Russel within one week of the date that the swingset needed to be moved. Although this was an extremely busy time for him, I was able to get a hold of him on Wednesday night (via text message) and he offered to come out the very next day to move the swingset. He had a cancellation which allowed him to be able to take on my job. His quote was the most reasonable quote that I had received and he clearly had the most experience of anyone I contacted. He informed me on Wednesday that he would arrive between 8-9 am. He was spot on! He arrived around 8:30! I've worked with a lot of service providers and it's not often you find someone so punctual. He arrived ready to disassemble the swingset, with all of the appropriate tools and was ready to complete the job on his own. I was amazed as I assumed that it would take several individuals many hours to disassemble and reassemble these swingsets, but Russel had it down to a science. He has over 14 years of experience with swingsets, which clearly showed in his level of competency and his ability to disassemble the set quickly! He had the set taken down and ready to move by 9:15! He also informed me that he needed to stop by a home improvement store to make some stakes for the swingset since the prior owners never assembled the set properly and staked it to the ground. I was so grateful that he was not only concerned with assembling the swingset, but making sure it was done correctly so that my childen would be safe. The extra attention to these types of details certainly impressed me. He was over to my house by 10:00 and the swingset was assembled by 11:30! This would have taken my husband and I days to complete, and moreover, the likelihood of us assembling it properly (without instructions) would have been slim to none. I was at work by the time Russel finished assembling the swingset. He text messaged me a picture of it, which was so kind since I was dying to know how it looked! He also informed me that he had leveled out the swingset, added the stakes and some new screws (all of which he did not charge me for). He also informed me that the canopy was missing a string and unfortunately he didn't have one on him (if he did though, I'm sure he would have taken care of that too!). I can't say enough good things about Russ and wouldn't hesitate for one second to recommend him to any of my family or friends. He definitely helped me out in a pinch and did an exceptional job.

Tino came to do the job by himself. I wondered how he would re-assemble all the parts without assistance, but he had it down to a science. Shortly after 10AM he was at the front door with the dis-assembled swing set in the back of his pickup. We looked at the area I wanted it placed, and he quickly got to work. He carried all the pieces to the backyard and in less than an hour had the tower part of the set assembled. He checked with me to make sure the placement was what I wanted and finished up the job a little before noon. He leveled the swing set (digging into the grass a little to nestle the base securely) and replaced the small amount of turf he had removed. He made sure all the pieces were tightened. He answered all my questions about maintainence. He was very pleasant, polite and efficient. The manufacturer quoted me $575 (almost double) to do this job. Since it is a used swing set, we'll have to monitor the condition a little sooner than if it was new, but I feel secure that it has been set up properly and securely.

I emailed Russel to see if he was able to help in my swingset relocation - however unfortuantely he wasn't able to help me but he did get back to me the same day that I contacted him. I would use him if I had a new set to assemble

I contacted The Swing Set Man (Russ Huber) on 4/2/13 about installation of a swing set I purchased at Costco. He wrote me back the same day with a quote. I immediately wrote him back to ask a few questions about what is included in the cost and to schedule a date for the installation. I never heard back from him. Over the next 3 weeks, I attempted to contact him numerous times without any response. He did not return a single voice mail, email or text message. I see that other reviewers have had the same issue with him to which replied that he must have "overlooked" the emails. Given my persistence in contacting him, it is inconceiveable that he has once again "overlooked" the attempts at communication. His quoted price was reasonable and in line with other quotes I have received.

I contacted the swing set man for a quote. He gave me a great quote, but then never got back to me to schedule an installation date. I contacted him via email 2 additional times and have not heard back. I know things come up in life, and overall I am understanding if he is busy, but I do wonder how reliable he would be on the job if he is not punctual with emails. I will go with another company who charges more because their response time was quicker and their response in general was more thorough.

It was excellent. Everything was perfect and they did a great job. They were punctual, professional, and everything was very highly rated. They knew what they were doing and all I think they do is install swing sets. They came out and took the boxes out and got rid of the boxes and they didn't stop working all day long. The price for the size of our swing set was appropriate.

Bought a swing set/clubhouse set from BJs for our boys. Had planned to assemble it myself, but the summer started to get away from me and I couldn't stomach having my sons continue to stare longingly at their playground set in boxes inside the garage. Guys came out to the house and had the swing set assembled by mid-afternoon. Great service, great price and very professional.

Through Swingset Man, arranged for the construction of a Gorilla playset system. Tino came out to do the installation with a helper--came early, worked hard and quickly and did a great job on the set--I don't think it took more than four hours, though the instructions say it should take double that. These guys were very personable, professional and knew the equipment well. They made accommodations for missing pieces and left the yard in perfect shape. I'd recommend Tino to anyone for installation--a nice guy who did a very good job for the price. Swingset Man was very responsive in setting up the appointment.

Russ gave us a price of $200 to install our swingset. This was about $150 less than two other estimates. He arrived exactly when he said he would and finished when he said he would. The instructions for the swingset stated that it would take 2 people 6 hours. Russ installed it by himself in 2 hours. Amazing. The set also was missing a board and Russ used one that he had brought himself saving us aggravation. He was courteous and sent us a follow-up email. When he learned that a screw had popped loose, he sent his installer back to reinstall better screws.We highly recommend Russ.

Assembly of our playset was complete in just over 2 hours - he was punctual, professional, knowledgable, neat and efficient. I would highly recommend him.

Russ was very easy to contact, responding to my e-mail within an hour or two via blackberry. He was also very easy to schedule an appointment with, coming to install my daughter's new playset within a week of our initial contact. Russ was very professional and punctual, not to mention very kind to my daughter who was eagerly watching to installation unfold. Russ completed the entire installation in around 4 hours, something I am certain would have killed an entire weekend for me and required me to call in some serious favors from friends. Just as importantly, Russ did an excellent job leveling the playset in our somewhat uneven backyard. Russ also followed up the week after the job was done to make sure that everything on the playset was working as it should be. My daughter loves her play set and I am very happy with the quality of Russ's installation. I recommend him without reservation.
