Swingset Man

A pleasant experience from beginning to end. Russel - aka Swing Set Man - was highly responsive, professional. and accommodating, and you can tell he's a master of this art form of swing set installation. I ordered the Gorilla Navigator swing set, which I was going to buy off the Gorilla website. I'm glad I reached out to Russel first, as he found the exact one I wanted on Bed, Bath, and Beyond's website (who knew they were still in business) for $500 less. Tragically, Gorilla forgot a key accessory box when they shipped, but Russel has connections and, if not for the fact I already reached out, he would've been able to procure that box for me. As a result of the delay, I missed the installation date, but again Russel accommodated, coming out on a Sunday morning in the high 20s in March to put the play set together. He knocked the whole thing out in less than five hours. He told me that Gorilla forgot the hardware for the monkey bars (sigh), but not to worry he brings his own and had no trouble getting it installed. He even ensures the swing set is level with his own wooden blocks and secures the swing set properly from tipping. Not a board or screw out of place (and I looked). I almost wish I had another swing set for him to install because the experience was so awesome. He's highly responsive and knows what he's doing (check out his Instagram), and his rates are nearly identical to what you'd pay Gorilla if you had them install. Highest recommendation, do not hesitate to have him build your child's swing set the right way.

Russel really came through for us! We struggled to get a swing set installed in our sloped backyard, but after failed attempts with a big company, Russel was able to help us. He listened to our needs, checked out our yard, and suggested solutions that worked perfectly. Thanks to him, our daughter now loves her new swing set, and we couldn't be happier with how it all worked out. If you need any kind of help with a swing set, definitely reach out to Russel for help. Russ with Swingset Man did a phenomenal job assembling our Kidkraft Adventure Bend swing set. He was responsive, punctual, hardworking, skilled, and reasonably priced. He was also very friendly, extremely professional, and he was willing to work within the limitations our yard/terrain. I was so relieved and thankful to find a professional who was not only expert but was also willing/able to think outside of the box with out compromising safety or standards. We purchased a used swingset, and dissasembled it ourselves to transport it. Putting it back together in our house was not an easy task. Russel was fantastic from the get go! He has great communication skills, is very professional and reasonably priced. He not only put the swingset together for us in one morning, but also replaced some parts that were damaged and retuned it to his former glory. If you are looking for somebody to put togehter a swingset, look no further. The swingset man is your best bet! We highly recommend the swingset man!

Russel was fantastic!…he helped select the right swingset for our family, he was patient during shipping delays and back-orders, he did the installation quickly, and he was available for all of our follow-up questions. I only wish we’d be buying more swingsets in the future so we could hire him again — one of the best contractors we’ve ever worked with.

Russel came out of his usual service area to replace the ladder on our 10+ year old swingset. We just had another little one, and wanted it to last for a few more years. He showed up exactly when he said he would on one of the hottest days of the year, and had the job done in about 30 minutes, including a minor excavation project to get to the bolts on the base. He even repaired a handrail with new hardware that he must have noticed was in desparate need of TLC without me asking. Will absolutely hire again!!!

AMAZING! First let me just say that I am absolutely speechless on have fast this project was completed! They were fast, efficient and friendly. I highly recommend. We would definitely use in the future if needed! We have already recommended to friends and family.

Russel was extremely professional and punctual. He arrived on time and was finished before noon! The swing set is perfectly installed. He knows what he is doing and does the job right. Worth every penny. Highly recommend.

Russ was fantastic, and we'd highly recommend him to anyone considering purchasing a playset, let alone to anyone considering professional installation. Russ installed two playsets for us - in a single day, no less - and it's clear he's the "Swingset Man" for a reason: the man is an expert, and he has gotten the process and execution of building these sets down to a science. We initially debated assembling it ourselves, hiring a "big box" recommended professional, and leveraging an app like Handy to find a pro. We're glad we went with the best instead! Russ was an excellent communicator from our first interactions via phone and email; he even helped us choose the right set for our space and goals. Moreover, he was fair, friendly and organized. Perhaps most importantly, we can now rest easy knowing that our sets are were constructed as safely and sturdily as possible despite some uneven terrain. We'll be enthusiastically recommending Russ to our friends and family, and we're certain to use him again in the future.

Having Russel build our swingset was one of the best experiences we've had with a handyman. If only the rest of homeownership was so easy... Russel was responsive, punctual, and flexible when we had to reschedule once due to the original swing set being delivered in a damaged state. On the day of the build he knocked it out of the park, we are thrilled with the assembly and the placement. Would hire again in a second and recommend him to anyone.

Russel is amazing, there just is no one better. He was endlessly patient as we had multiple shipping issues including delays and items missing. Once we finally got all the purchased items together we finalized our appointment date and Russel arrived exactly when he said he would. He is incredibly professional, all boxes were flattened and stacked, the swingset assembly itself was done with speed and care. He installed additional anchors to make sure it was all safe and level, that thing isn't going anywhere. I could not recommend him highly enough, he does excellent work, and cares about what he does.

Amazing results!! After a false start with another contractor, we brought in the pros at Swingset Man to do the job right. The Set required leveling both front and back, and left to right. They were super organized, efficient, and obviously well versed on our particular swingset model…no doubt one of many in a vast library of swingsets they have experience with. Pricing was very competitive.

Russel was extremely helpful from the start. We had a bad experience with a large swingset provider recommending a swingset that was too large for our yard and Russel helped us pick a good quality set that fit our yard better. He was very responsive from the start and easy to get in contact with. On the day of our install he was quick and efficient. His pricing was very fair and on par with what other big box retailers would charge for a likely much less experienced installer. Highly recommend!

Excellent, can't recommend enough. They make it look so easy. We do not have a level garden, so the team made sure it was stable and put additional support under the appropriate spots so the playground was level. This isn't just safer, but means the playground will last so much longer. Thank you!

Russel arrived on time and quickly got organized with all the materials and had the play set up in a few hours. He clearly knows what he is doing and has a efficient system to quickly and safely construct the playset. The playset is sturdy and looks great. I couldn't be happier.

I had constant communication with Russel (swingset man) through email and Facebook messenger with questions, quotes, and dates, and all were replied to in a timely manner. He came on the date and at the time that was scheduled with his helper. They were professional, knowledgeable, and skilled in their task to install a very large Gorilla swing set for my kids in the backyard. I believe the job took around 6 hours, but from what I've read, would take most people 3 days to assemble. Russel also goes above and beyond to make sure all parts are installed correctly and safely than other installers would probably not care to do. His service is on the pricier side, but you get what you pay for and that is quality work and the job done right.

Russel was incredible. After a precious company tried to do the job and was unsuccessful and unprofessional, Russel was incredibly responsive and helpful! He even had to come twice because the first time we discovered the original company had taken all the hardware. His price was better, for much better work. The swingset is stable and safe. My children are so excited and so am I! I could not recommend him more highly.

Our old swingset was destroyed in a storm and we needed a new one installed. My husband and his friend spent 3 days installing our previous set. When our new and bigger set arrived, I was 9 and a half months pregnant and couldn’t spend that much time building it, so we had Russ come do it. He and one other person had the entire set (gorilla wilderness gym) built in just under 5 hours. We’re very happy!!

Russ showed up on time and went right to work. He put together a Gorilla Great Skye 2 playground In about 5hrs. It was leveled appropriately and he even added some stabilizing posts for the rope ladder that were not included in the set.
