I have a 1939 stone home that was in need of some repointing, and Bob and his crew did an outstanding job! The main concern was that my chimney was in bad shape due to a poor pointing job done by previous owners of the home. After having Bob Sr. come out and perform an initial estimate, I decided that it would be worth getting a quote to fully repoint the side portion of my home (including the chimney) as well as the front of my home. This was partially for aesthetic reasons, but also because being over 80 years old, the mortar around the house was beginning to deteriorate and fully repointing was truly the best option. Spot pointing would only have been a "band aid" approach. Bob Jr. and his crew were onsite for about 2 weeks, they fully removed all the old mortar and repointed the entire side potion of my home, the chimney, and the front of my home. After they were completed their work, they ensured that everything was cleaned and left the job site in wonderful condition. I would definitely recommend Premier Pointing to anyone looking to have masonry work done, and I will be looking to hire them again in the future to repoint the remaining 2 sides of my home. Their pricing was very reasonable, and they were prompt and reliable throughout the entire project.

Bob came by and gave a very professional and knowledgable evaluation on the status of the historic brick. Followed all safety guidelines given the current pandemic situation. Pricing was fair as well vs. other providers, would definitely recommend.

The Premier Pointing professionals arrived early, around 7:00 am and neatly set up the materials, tools and equipment needed for the job. The men worked quietly, efficiently and diligently, standing back several times to self-evaluate their work. There was an area around a cable TV wire that we were certain would be forgotten, but yes, that section was taken care of also. The Premier Pointing professionals treated our property with respect. After the work was done, they cleaned up the small bits of materials that had fallen to the ground and quietly left. The finished product is beautiful! The chimney now looks neat and sturdy. Premier Pointing came out in advance to assess work, then scheduled work. Their masons arrived on time and completed the work with excellent efficiency and quality. Everyone was friendly and professional at every step of the process. I would recommend them without reservation.

It seems to be fine, I will tell you I did have to wait a long time for them to come out I understand part of it had to do with weather. but because I was calling him it would take him a long time to get through to me. Then he said he would call back by the beginning of April and he didn't so then I called him back a few days later and he said oh yeah we're not send out to your area as yet because they work for different areas I guess different time, so that was a little bit of an issue. The work seem to be very good but for example they moved things they never moved them back, things like that I think are sort of problematic. What I'll give him credit for is I know there are a lot of people who work in masonry and in pointing and thing that they won't take on small jobs so I do have to give him credit for that.

I chose Premier Pointing because I strongly prefer to use small family businesses rather than big companies or franchises where the men who actually do the job are often not invested in their work or well supervised. I'm old enough to remember when integrity and pride in workmanship were the norm rather than the exception and I feel that I found both in Premier Pointing. The crew of 3 (I think) arrived on time and the work was finished as scheduled. Although they were always courteous to me, I did let the owner know that I found their radio and relatively loud banter just outside my open window to be uncomfortable. I really don't want to know who drank what or what time they got home last night. That said, their work was excellent. I now have the best looking chimney on the block. Last but not least, it was a stretch for me to come up with $1375., the original estimate and even more so when they found internal damage to the base costing an additional $225. It may well be "competitive" in today's market. To me, it's expensive.
