 + 0 moreThere were some delays in receiving the quote from John Martin. Their original quote was very high, which they adjusted. Initially, we were very happy with the patio and side walk they installed. So much so, that we had them back to do the front walk. In the beginning everything worked and looked great. However, the side walkway began to settle and the front walk was never pitched adequately to allow the rain water to run off. Both the side and front walks are now unusable during rain storms. I brought this to the attention of the job foreman, Dave, and he suggested I remove the vegetation along the affected area. I did this, but the flooded walk was no better. I have called and e-mailed John Martin several times, with no response. They do not seem to care. I am very disappointed with the lack of customer service. I think that not responding is just plain rude and bad for business.
Description of Work: They removed the existing flagstone patio and wooden walkway and replaced it with EP Henry pavers.

Description of Work: I used them twice before and they did nice work. The third time, we contracted them to dig up a very large tree stump / root system in our back yard. They came when we were not home, and just covered the site in topsoil, seed, and hay. After a long winter, we started to use the yard and quickly found the same old sink holes and stump. The site manager claimed he dug up another stump we didn't have, and he refused to give me the owner's name. Emailed and called the owner, but he won't get back to me. No credibility - do a docket search of the owner online...http://ujsportal.pacourts.us/default.aspx I am sure I will have to sue them.

Description of Work: Mr John Martin, from JJDLandscaping, Mr. Martin was on time,showed him what we wanted done. Said no problem, would e-mail a quote, within a day or two, as of this Monday (a week later) still no e-mail, sent him a personal e-mail Monday, no response. So we went with another company (also in Aston)
