Good guy, liked the fact he put paper down to walk on. Got it done. No mess looked good and I didn't have to have anything to do with it. That is the best part. Pretty good price I'm cheap and I think everything is expensive but it was fair. And they were out within a week. Will be getting estimates for other work I need done.

Great guy .... BUT! So far, I can only describe this experience as a major disappointment and a growing concern. I had significant damage to a bedroom wall due to a leak in the flashing around the chimney. After the flashing was repaired, and the wall was assessed by a restoration company for dryness, I was given the go ahead to hire a plasterer. I hired BandZ (B&Z) to do the job because of their great reviews. The owner, Bill, was probably one of the nicest contractors to ever enter my home. Unfortunately, the job did not live up to my expectations, and I expressed major concern about some of the dark and some of the damp spots that didn't appear right to me. Bill assured me it would all dry fine. I watched the spots change over the weeks and took photos. It was not getting better. Called Bill. He said he'd come back and look at it, but I had a funeral the day he wanted to come out, so I couldn't be here. He said he (B'd) would call me back when he could get here. Weeks have gone by. No word. The wall is now bubbling and blistering and some spots are turning chalky. It has to come down and be redone before I can paint. I wish Home Advisor offered a way to post photos, because just one would be worth a thousand words. I am pursuing this with Home Advisor, and I am hopeful that I will have an opportunity to report a positive outcome of what lies ahead.

I put my inquiry in on Thursday and Bill had it completed by Monday! We had a sizeable hole in an angled part of our ceiling which we were very concerned about. Bill not only gave us piece of mind about the rest of our ceiling, but completed the job in a timely and professional manner. It is safe and looks great. And so does the rest of the house because they wiped down all the floors and stairs when they were done! Will certainly call again for any future needs.
