Our selection of company was based on Angie's list reviews and now after the work has been performed we are happy to share the very positive experience we have had during the whole process. We have been able to make a decision to move ahead with Wholesale Marble during the first discussion with Simon after in-house measurement. We received a straightforward and fair estimate and were able to organize and set future appointment dates that were all kept unchanged. Simon and his team installed our granite kitchen countertop and glass tile backsplash with high quality and precision in one business day. The team was organized, efficient and workers explained the installation steps along the way. They have even installed our new over-the-range microwave to ensure the backsplash fitted perfectly. Description of Work: We had Wholesale Granite install new granite counter-tops in our kitchen and laundry room. Izabella referred us to several stone yards where we were able to see essentially an endless number and style of granite slabs. After selecting the stone that we wanted, the template was scheduled for a Friday afternoon and the time to installation took about 1 week. The cut-out for our cook top needed to be opened more than the original cut-out. We even tested the opening before the installation crew left, and it appeared to be fine. However, when we went to install the cooktop, it needed to be opened slightly to accommodate a couple of screws on either side, which was noticed only after they left. I called them on Monday and they came out on Tuesday to make the adjustment, with no questions asked. The counters look beautiful and we could not be more pleased.

Description of Work: I had a wonderful experience dealing with this company. Simon and Eli are highly professional, patient and provide excellent customer service. They spent a lot of time discussing my project with me in order to understand my goals and needs. I am in the middle of a major renovation of an older home and was weary after a poor experience with a "big box" marble and granite company I used for purchase and installation of a marble vanity counter top in my master bath. Simon helped me extensively in his showroom, recommended a perfect granite for a fireplace surround in my den and drove me to the company's warehouse in Landsdale where I met his partner, Eli and was introduced to the fabrication team. Eli and Simon were patient and helpful as I asked to see several slabs of marble and granite for my kitchen. Again, they made wonderful recommendations and helped me select a beautiful calcutta gold marble for my kitchen island and honed absolute black granite for my perimeter counters. I was a bit nervous about selecting two different materials for the kitchen and had some concerns about honing absolute black granite as I read about some issues homeowners had w/ honed absolute black on the internet. Simon and Eli answered all my questions and explained, in detail, the pros and cons of using honed absolute granite. I elected to go with the honed and so far, am glad I did. The install went well and kitchen counters and fireplace look great! They only used one seam in the entire kitchen job. It is behind my apron sink and is barely visible. I am finishing the renovation of my kitchen with a combo hutch/ desk for the back wall of my kitchen and am looking forward to working with Simon and Eli for the granite I will need for that project. I highly recommend Wholesale Granite and Tile.

Description of Work: We were getting new kitchen counters. The price was comparable to big box stores, maybe a little cheaper. They came out and templated, and installed when they said they would. The only problem we had was the installers came to set the counters, they ran out of white caulk and asked if they could finish with yellow.

Description of Work: We went to their showroom in Merion. They had an excellent selection of granite and they were quite helpful. After we selected our granite, we went to their warehouse and selected the actual piece of granite that would be used for our countertops. Their price was better than their competitors. They came out to our house to measure the countertops and the countertops were fabricated and delivered within a week. They did an excellent job and the granite is perfect and we have received many compliments. We have already referred friends to them. I would highly recommend this company.
