Brad was a true professional. After his diagnosis of the issues, he clearly laid out his plan and what needed to be done to install our new outlets. He provided price options for other improvements we could make. During the project, he had to fish through our fireplace and walls, and did so very carefully. For the holes needed for the fishing, he patched up perfectly. We now have an outlet on our stone fireplace (for a mounted tv) and another for gaming consoles and other peripherals. Before leaving, he provided a list of other services and home improvements to keep in mind, which was great since we just moved in to a new home a couple weeks ago. We’ll definitely be working with Brad again in the future!

The appointment went well. The staff did a great job of evaluating the problem and providing options and pricing. They were professional, polite, and worked quickly. Overall it was a good experience.

Brad and his team were amazing! I highly recommend them. From my first contact with Brad I was impressed. He and his team came out to the property almost immediately to assess the situation. I was in the process of purchasing the property and Brad provided an estimate within a day that so that I was able to use this info during the negotiation with the seller. Replacing knob and tube wiring is an extremely complex and difficult job that requires a very knowledgeable contractor with the right tools and a great deal of respect for the structure and integrity of the home. Brad and his team had all of these qualities and more. This job took almost 3 weeks of continuous work and effort by a team of 3 electricians. Brad and his team did an amazing job surgically rewiring the house with minimal invasion and without damaging the walls or structural integrity of the home. In the areas where the walls were opened, Brad and his team very nicely filled in the holes with onetime wall patching material which I later sanded and painted. Also, at the end of every day, the team made sure that the house was spotlessly clean. Even though we had not yet moved in, we could have lived there while this work was being completed. They kept it that clean which was impressive considering the scope of work the team had undertaken. Throughout the process, Brad and his team were a pleasant, very communicative and would consult with me on any decisions that had to be made. Brad was extremely thoughtful throughout the process and really did an amazing job at our home. As I said I would highly recommend Brad Brown for knob and tube replacement or any other less complex electrical needs.

Brad came out right away (in a few hours!) He was diligent and professional. I was very nervous about what was causing the burning smell. He checked everything and explained everything very well. He was able to find the root of the problem and provide relief. Brad also helped my husband change a light bulb that at the top of the steps in an extremely hard to reach spot - free of charge. If you are looking for someone who knows what they are doing and is honest and patient (we had a cranky baby and barking dog who interrupted every 2 minutes) then he is for you. Will absolutely hire Brad again. I would also like to say that his fiancé who is charge of scheduling is a pleasure to work with as well.

Brad Brown Electric was able to fit me in the same day to diagnose issues I was having with no power coming out of several outlets in my house. If I could give Brad and his crew(Anthony and David) an overall rating of A++++, I would! We have a 130 year old cottage style house, with knob and tube through the entire 2nd floor, the living room, dining room and basement. Brad and his crew arrived on the date appointed for the project, and then spent some time "brain storming" and setting their "game plan." They carefully thought out the project, and then proceeded with an amazing work ethic. Their business model is to minimize the cutting of walls/ceilings as much as possible, and to create little or no dust, dirt, or mess. If they drilled a hole, or cut a wall, they used powerful vacuums, after having carefully covered all furniture(they also ALWAYS wore foot coverings in the house). And then, EVERY night, they would put the furniture back, and clean any room where they had been working. They literally left the house in better shape each night than they had found it in the morning. And they made sure that we had power where ever we might need it. They spent several days crawling around our attic pulling wires to the upstairs rooms: a tight fit, even for pros like them! They sealed any and all holes or wall cuts, and then David plastered over each area. I would describe David as a master plasterer. When I repainted the small areas(and they were small), you could not even tell that they had been patched. On top of their amazing craftsmanship, Brad, David, and Anthony were polite, personable, and showed respect for our home and possessions. When they had finished(in less than two weeks), we actually missed seeing them each day! Having them work on our home was rally a great experience!

I can't speak highly enough of Brad Brown's work. I have worked with electricians recommended by others on this website that are much larger operations, the kind when you call you get an army of people who answer the phone in an ultra-professional way. I've had good experiences with those companies, but not the kind I've had with Brad Brown and crew. Brad is easy to talk with, ask questions of, and explore possibilities. He is truly service oriented and customer focused, meaning he wants you to be there during the work, if possible, to check in with you about how you want things. He is a perfectionist in all things -- yes, handling the technical aspects of an electrician, but he also possesses the aesthetic aspects of an artist. His communication skills are superb and something I highly value and am continually frustrated with in other contractors I've worked with. I knew what I was getting beforehand, knew the cost, and knew what was going on during the project. As someone who cares about work being done well and done right in my home (as we all are), Brad Brown is someone I felt confident about. The job, specifically, was rewiring everything in my basement after I had to tear out what was a finished basement in order to do mold remediation and basement waterproofing. This had left all of the wires just hanging around in a displeasing and unsafe way. Brad came in and rewired everything so not only was everything safe, but it now looks neat and tidy. When I save enough to remodel the basement, I may not even need to put up a ceiling as the wiring along the rafters are so neat due to his work. Review of price? I can't say. You have to judge for yourself. I want the job done right, done well, and am willing to pay Brad given all of the above.

Emergency call on a Saturday afternoon for a circuit that was not working. Prompt response and they were at our house in an hour. Brad made great suggestions about GFI outlets and our garbage disposal, and corrected the problem. Will definite call again when I need an electrician!

The experience with Brad Brown Electric was awesome. I completed the Contact form on the website ([*** Link removed ***] and explained the work that I needed done. I was contacted the same day and was able to setup a consultation with Brad (owner) the same day as my inquiry. During the consultation, we discussed the work that was needed and I was provided a quote on site. The price quoted was lower than other companies and other handymen I had spoken with. Scheduling was simple and he was able to come the next day after I gave him approval on the quote. They showed up ready to work and explained exactly how they were going to complete the work (recessed lighting, cable, TV Mount, chandelier). The recessed lighting they chose was great too and has a great effect when the dimmer is down. He asked a few questions during the installation to ensure he was completing the job as expected. Once the work was complete, they cleaned the rooms where the work was done and it was practically cleaner than before they started. Everything was completed in under a day. Not only was the work great, but I was also re-assured that the owner of the company was doing the work. With his name on the line, I knew he would stand by his work.

A little slow because supply of fixtures delayed. However work was very good and once supplies arrived it was finished as promised. Now have more lights & lumens, which are all LED and many more with lower wattage and we are much happier than before with lighting. Cost was not joyous but results were. Bulb Life expectancy much much greater too. Also happy to part of the green movement.

Brad And Paul were polite and professional.They did the work as asked for a reasonable price and worked quickly and cleanly in both the original evaluation and day of work.Took a little time to schedule but part of that was my own availability. Special thanks to Brad's fiance for liaising between us! Also thanks to the lads for giving us advice on a PECO issue.They were correct and went above and beyond.

Brad's crew of 3 men were all competent, detail-oriented, professional, and friendly. Brad himself was on the job most of the time, overseeing as well as helping the crew. Whenever they were unsure about a detail, they consulted me before proceeding to make sure it was done exactly as I wanted it, which I appreciated. Brad used all high end components from Rittenhouse Electric Supply, not cheap plastic crap from Lowe's, which pleased me. I am very happy with the quality of the work. The end cost was on the high end, but I suspect if I found someone to do it for less, I would not be as happy with the work. I will definitely call Brad for future electrical needs.
