BRAD BROWN ELECTRIC

I called Brad Brown in the morning and he answered my call on his cell from his truck. He listened to my description of the problem and told me that while he couldn't come over immediately (he was on his way to another job) he would call for more details when he arrived at his destination - which he did. Several hours later he called back to inform us that someone was on his way. Anthony showed up at about 5:00 pm Anthony was very pleasant, polished and got right to work. He tested everything and ultimately got the lights to work but had no luck with the pump. He suggested that the pool pump probably died after 19 years - there was certainly power going to the pump. The next day, our pool guy showed up with a new pump and indeed, that was the problem. Anthony stayed out there for almost two hours and tested everything he could test. While we did need a new pool pump, we did also have a problem with the pool light and all of the garden lights - and Anthony did fix that problem. So although none of this was a crisis, I was impressed that Brad Brown was so available and someone did show up that same day.

We hired Brad to rewire our home that was built in the 1920's. His estimate was not the cheapest, but based on his professionalism and some other reviews we chose him after long and careful consideration. The job was completed on time for the agreed upon price, despite some work being both added and removed throughout the process. As the job progressed Brad worked with us to help us make decisions that were in our best interest without the scope (or price) of the project getting out of hand. Brad and his employees Joe and Anthony were all extremely courteous and professional, it was a pleasure to work with them. They went out of their way to show up on time and keep our house clean despite three large snowstorms over the course of the project. When running new circuits they made far fewer holes in the walls & ceilings than we expected, and all visible wiring in the attic and basement left from the project was all neatly run. Since it was a large project Brad provided an estimated price range up front, and in the end it cost exactly what he said it would. We are very happy we went with Brad, we will definitely call him in the future and recommend him to friends and family.

He solved some longstanding problems that some electricians couldn't fix over the past twenty years. He is very efficient and reliable and up to date. I had some questions about some very old light fixture and he had me send him pictures so he could come all prepared for them. He came up there very clean and neat and helpful and nice. He seemed extremely knowledgeable and smart. I thought the price was excellent.

The electrical work was excellent and on site Brad and the crew were great. To be fair I'd given a B+ Overall if Angie's List allowed for that. It was communications off the job that were sometimes difficult. Also there wasn't a way to update the cost estimates in writing once the job was agreed which left us feeling uncertain. These are what we've marked under "Professionalism" as there was no "Communications" category. Brad and the crew were very professional on the job, arriving on time, working hard, being courteous and leaving the job site clean each day. I went with the highest bid for the job (40% higher than others) for this project because I knew there would be complications and wanted someone who could handle them. Brad rose to what ever challenges the house provided. Overall an excellent job and we are very happy with the bathroom heat, the new lights and outlets and the peace-of-mind knowing that the electrical was done right.

Brad was terrific. He walked me through an electrical problem I was having, found an easy solution and we fixed it by phone. Really appreciated his honesty and the help.

Brad and Joe and Anthony did a great job. This was the first time they did work for us, but Brad had previously given me some phone advice that saved a service call. They were punctual, professional, also pleasant, and we are pleased with the quality of their electrical work. Both outlets had to be installed in the right back corner of the firebox. In one case that meant drilling through a finished wall (wallboard) from an existing outlet and angling to the back wall of the firebox. Afterward, they repaired the wallboard only leaving a little touch-up painting for us to do. The second fireplace was a bigger challenge. Electricity had to come in from the left and be routed to the right. They had to drill through a stone wall that is several feet thick. This required additional equipment and time, not all of which could have been anticipated. But Brad kept to his original estimate, even though he might have taken a loss.They cleaned and vacuumed afterward and they were careful with our recently refinished floors. All went well. We think the price is fair for what they did and we'd definitely hire them again.

It went fantastically. Brad and his team were prompt and efficient in all stages of planning, estimation and work execution. The project went very smoothly, all questions were answered, and the final cost was well under the estimate. I intend to use Brad again on future projects, and I'd recommend him to anyone. As with all successful professionals, you'll likely have a wait to get him out to your home. That wait is probably because he is over at my house doing more work for me.

Brad was not only thoroughly professional but also a very nice guy. This was my first experience with him--he showed up exactly when he said he would, wore booties in my home, completed the work promptly and went the extra mile in seeking out an old-fashioned switch at the electrical supply store to satisfy a rather peculiar request I made of him. I was very impressed. Can't say enough positive about this young man. I will definitely use him again.

Very good experience with Brad. We were able to schedule the work within two weeks of first meeting, and the work was completed in one day. Pricing seemed very reasonable. He brought two guys with him to do the work and they were very nice, professional, and area was cleaned up well upon completion of work. It is definitely worth giving Brad a call.

Installed ceiling fans in kitchen and bedroom and other light fixtures in hallway. Nice guys, great prices.

Called several times...Phone number does not work

Everything went great! This is our 2nd time using Brad Brown Electric and we are extremely happy with his work & prices. I had called Brad to come check out our reccess lighting because one light was not working & the wiring just seemed out of date, I also asked if he could replace indoor hallway light fixture while here, since I knew it would be small job. So Brad and his co-worker came to check out our reccess lighting issues, turns out it is not a quick fix type of job. Brad went over all of my options for the replacement of the old lighting. I figured out what we wanted and Brad is now going to give us a quote for that work. Now for the work he did while at my house: He replaced and indoor hallway light fixture which probably took him about 20 minutes to do - easy project for him to say the least. It ended up costing less then expected & actually charged me less then usual lamp relpacments, which was great. I paid $50 for the work and was extremely please with the work done. Brad & his crew are always Punctual, do a good job cleaning up after themselves, explain everything they are doing or planing to do so you understand & have very competitive pricing. I am currently waiting on my estimate for the recess lighting from yesterday and I plan on using Brad for this work as well!

Came within a few hours of my call; diagnosed broken circuit breaker & replaced it; removed corrosion in electrical box. Very efficient and thorough.

Great. Came out and gave us quote. Made sure we understood our various options in terms of lighting for addition. Did exactly what they promised to do. Cleaned up mess in addition they made (had to saw through drywall in ceiling for installation.

Brad and his team (2 add'l men) were punctual and performed all of the work on the same day. My husband and I were very impressed by their efficiency, professionalism and cleanliness. In all 4 rooms were work was done, the team cleaned up; wouldn't have even known they were there! They took all trash with them. We were especially impressed with how they were able to feed the TV/cable wires from behind a flat screen TV hung over our fireplace, down to an outlet on wall near floor next to fireplace. Previously the wires hung down the side of our fireplace and were a little unsightly. We would definitely use Brad Brown again. For all of the work performed by the 3 men, we feel the price was very fair and reasonable. Thank you!

We met with and received several quotes from electricians; we were the most impressed by Brad. He was able to schedule within 2 weeks of our quote. Brad and his associate arrived on time. The electrical work and mounting TV above fireplace was definitely a difficult task but they both did an amazing job. It is exactly how we wanted it! They patched the walls and cleaned up after themselves. They did a good amount of work for a reasonable price. Definitely will use them again!

The experience with him was excellent, and the price was good. The price was a little over half as much as another electrician quoted. He was very good at discussing with me, what needed to be done, and what didn't need to be done. I will have some more work to be done, and I will use him. He is very good.

Brad was professional, had a polite and friendly manner, did excellent work, cleaned up, and made sure that everything was in its right place. We were very impressed by the knowledge and expertise of Brad Brown. We sought Brad's opinion after we discovered some knob and tube wiring in our older house that we were in the process of selling. Brad and his team came to the house, evaluated the situation, and helped to educate us on the condition of our home and recommendations for next steps. Brad was patient on the phone with us, explaining all of the details and willing to speak with the buyers to share his opinion about the condition of the wiring. We were ready to hire Brad for the job, as we preferred his skills and expertise, but ultimately we had to use the buyers' electrician for the necessary work instead. However, we will certainly keep Brad in mind for any future electrical needs, and would recommend him to anyone looking for an experienced and reasonably priced electrician.

This job had several pieces which made it a little complicated. Brad brough in a team to complete the job with no problems. Where I had problems, he completely explained and we came to sound conclusions. He has provided several suggestions for additional work, and we will not hesitate to use them again.
