Jack is a pleasure to work with. He built two new railroad-tie retaining walls for me. The first wall involved ripping out the old retaining wall which was rotting and leaning severely. He installed the new wall with dead-men so that it will not lean in the future. He dug deep into the hill to make sure the dead-men were sufficiently anchored. The second wall was longer, and involved removing a lot of dirt and digging trenches to lay the bottom railroad-tie in. He installed both walls in a way that will ensure proper drainage and structural integrity, and the finished product looks great. He works very quickly and clearly has a lot of experience installing retaining walls. He is also reasonably priced, and generally just a nice guy. I'd highly recommend hiring Jack.

Mr. Ventrice did an excellent job. The foundation of the patio had to be raised several inches (as the previous one was sinking). It looks beautiful. He was very conscientious,had attention to detail and cleaned up all debris. He also re-seeded the lawn which was tramped down during construction when it was all finished. I love my new patio.
