The job went very well and the work was completed professionally and as timely as possible given the amount of additional work needed to address the structural issues. The contractors were prompt, courteous, and kept the work area clean throughout the duration of the work. I would definantly use Locy Construction Serices again.

Jon had good familiarity with working on older houses, and was able to come up with practical solutions to problems in plumbing, runoff, and just connecting to an old, out-of-plumb house. The crew was always courteous.

CAME TO LOOK AT THE BATHROOM LOCATION, SEEMED TO BE VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT WHAT NEEDED DONE AND HOW TO PERFORM THE WORK. TOOK MEASUREMENTS AND NOTES. SAID HE WOULD GET BACK TO ME BY THE END OF THE WEEK. THAT WAS THREE MONTHS AGO AND HAVEN'T HEARD FROM HIM YET

The service went well. We only had them do the minimal amount of work, but it went fine, they did the work as was asked, and cleaned up after themselves. They are very straightforward, they told me what they were going to do. We changed our plans on them, and they were flexible about it. I would recommend them, I think they would do a quality job.

He came out but he never got back to us with the estimate. They were supposed to install tiles in my bathroom. The fact that they did not get back to me I suppose they would not do a good job.

All went well. Jon gave a free estimate. Completed the job in one day.

Was not able to use Locy Construction for the job; however, Jon was extremely knowledgeable and informative. Although was not able to use for this job, will definitely keep his information for any future needs.

We have plans to tear off and rebuild a significant portion of our 177 year old farmhouse, which includes removing concrete flooring and re-pouring new, installing in-floor heating, tearing off a large framed section and rebuilding it larger and adding a balcony, modifying the roof, plumbing for a full bath, installing wood and tile floors, closing up an old exterior doorway, siding, and painting. After finding Jon Locy and another contractor through AngiesList, we met with both several times and both submitted bids. We were impressed with Jon's open, friendly business style and air of competence and enjoyed talking with him; however, his schedule did cause him to miss a few appointments with us, and we missed one with him. He responded to emails in a fairly timely manner, and was thorough in answering questions and providing information. His bid was in line with the work we want performed. In the end, we signed with the other contractor for a couple of reasons, one of which was Jon's and our schedule for the work didn't match up. I would not hesitate for a moment to have Jon perform ANY job for us, and indeed we may call him for future projects. Really wish the overall rating could reflect an A- instead of a B (minus only because of the missed meetings). Call Jon.

Jon Locy was very nice and prompt with first response and follow up. Only problem was that his estimate was twice that of others. Great guy, though! Very likable!

He is very punctual, knowledgeable, personable, and his overall bid prices have been moderate compared with other bids. I consider his bids to be very fair. His references I called rate him highly. Jon and I are still looking for just the right home for me. I definitely will use him for remodeling service on my existing home and new home when needed. I will be able to provide a skill-based, comprehensive report after we've actually worked on a remodeling project together.
