 + -1 moreSo glad we went with Nu Look. Garry called me about 30 seconds after I asked angies list to send me pros and he kept up with the WONDERFUL communication throughout the whole process. I seriously don't think it took him more than 5 minutes to get back to me if I had a question. Felt very comfortable when getting our estimate and was never pressured. We have a big roof and it only took them a day to do it (he sent a crew of 8 guys to do it and they were incredibly efficient). So far, I have yet to find any nails or debris on the property. Very easy to work with and great price. Can't recommend enough!

 + -1 moreGarry came out on two different occasions to give free estimates , after the scope of work was changed. On the day work was started,Garry and his crew arrived at 8:00am. We walked around the house to discuss the work to be performed. Once the work was started the crew performed excellent ,arriving everyday at 8:00am and cleaning up the areas of debris,nails etc..Garry called me every day to ask if I was satisfied as the job progressed. They completed the work in less than a week and I was very satisfied.

 + -1 moreThe workers arrived on time and used the windows that we chose. The big problem was that, because we have a stone house, they chose (without discussing it with us first) to rip out the entire window(including frame) which meant making holes in the plaster walls.They had our cell numbers but did not call us to discuss this first. We came home to these holes in our walls.) We then had to hire a painter to replaster and paint, costing us more money. When we had windows replaced in the two rooms that they did not do, we found out that they could have just taken out the window and left the frame. The contractor who did the final two rooms was able to do this, leaving our walls intact.
Description of Work: Contractor removed old windows and replaced with new ones.

 + -1 moreThey did excellent job. They came out and did the work. Probably they are the cheapest in the market. They finished the roofing in a day. Their price was at least 50% lesser compared to others. They gave fantastic quality and very prompt service. They said exactly what they are going to do and there were no surprises at the end, so it was just perfect. They didn't try to sell me more than what we needed; they just gave us what we needed. They didn't try to push or justify additional costs for doing things, using different type of nails and stuff like that. I will continue to use this provider again in the future.

The pricing process was a bit "soft" with compromises made with the thickness of the siding material and the insulation to keep the price in line with the original quote. The contract was thorough and professional. The salesman did not have a model of the windows we installed and we are not sure how good the quality is. It has been a couple of years since the installation. Some of them are a bit sticky and the latches don't all work as smoothly as they should. The siding on the garage wall is wavy. When questioned about it, we were told that it was because of the block wall behind. Still, it doesn't look that good. The installers worked hard and finished the job quickly. They came when they said they would. The overall boss responded when called, but was not a good listener and seemed to think he knew the answer to a question without really listening to our concerns. We were assured that cleanup would be thorough, but we found nails around our driveway afterwards for a good while. We waited to submit a report in order to see how the installation would hold up. Overall, it seems okay, but we would not hire this company again.

 + -1 moreThe overall experience was excellent. The sales process was very informative and thorough. The estimate was given to me on the first visit. They answered all of my follow-up questions. They called to schedule the installation. The roofer arrived on time and started working. They draped all of my shrubbery and covered my deck. During the job, I received a call letting me know they needed to replace on sheet of plywood which had water damage and gave me the adjusted price for the job. After the first day, the roofers completely cleaned up my yard. They came back the next day to complete the job. After it was completed, they again thoroughly cleaned up my property and hauled away all of the trash. They explained where they needed to replace materials and flashing.
Description of Work: Replacement roof for a house. They took off all existing roofing on the house and garage, replaced a damaged piece of plywood, installed weather watch material, flashed all necessary places, installed two new power fans replacing the old ones, installed a ridge vent, and installed dimensional roof shingles. For this process, I received bids from 5 roofing companies. I was surprised at how wide spread in prices these bids were. Two companies were over $5,000 more for the exact same work. The other 3 were close to one another.
