Carl & Beth did a fantastic job! They're both very professional, & have high standards for their work. Beth was prompt in returning my call, coming out to see what needed to be done, & getting us the written estimate right away (which included their insurance info ~ I appreciated not having to request that). She asked good questions, & also offered to help with color consultation. It was clear from the details she mentioned that this team is thorough. (For instance, prior to painting the skirting on the stairs, she said they would remove the old caulk & redo it, which provided a clean, smooth finish. When it came time to paint, we were very impressed with how meticulous Carl is in his prep ~ the key to a great paint job, but some painters overlook it in trying to finish quickly. Carl notices, and then takes care of, every detail to ensure that the finish will be perfect. He also recognized that our spindles had originally been painted with oil paint, which we had not known, so he got an oil-based paint in the exact color we needed, & left our banister with a beautiful, brush-stroke-free finish. He also does an excellent of job cutting in, where his steady hand & experience show. The entire job took the better part of 4 days. Beth joined him occasionally, helping paint the spindles & stair skirting. Carl double-checked the next day's arrival time & arrived promptly every day, and despite their being in a central location, it was no trouble to have them in the house. Unlike some contractors, the radio was so low I could barely hear it, & they were very gracious about moving ladders & such if for some reason we had to walk through. We told them they could leave drop cloths & equipment in the living room overnight, but even that area was left neat, & they thoroughly vacuumed the workspace at the end of each day. "Luxe Walls" will go the extra mile to make sure a job is done exceedingly well, and we highly recommend them!

Carl and Beth are absolutely great! The job was done with the HIGHEST quality, attention to detail and professionalism. Timelines and quotes were communicated clearly and consistently. Pricing was very reasonable, considering the work that needed to be done and compared to other providers. I also liked the fact that a detailed statement of work broke down into individual components so we could choose what to do and what could wait till later. Small thing but I like getting a PDF quote and invoice (like with these guys) instead of something illegible scribbled on a piece of paper. We were very happy with the results and will definitely consider Luxe Walls for our future projects.
