Very well. Joy was patient with my busy schedule and did a very good job making the window treatments. They are great and really pull the room together - they really set things off.

It was an excellent experience. Joy, the owner of the company, was very professional. She brought many samples of fabrics to my home and even left them for me to look at at different lights. She then custom made these drapes for my windows. I purchased hardware from her too. She gave me her ideas and we used both of our ideas to come up with a final product. I had a problem with the way one of the drapes was hanging because it was over a heater vent. Joy came back out a week later and fixed it. She hung and steamed my custom made drapes and they look beautiful!

Joy did a great job recommending which blinds would work best in the different rooms and whether to go with aluminum, faux wood, or real wood. Installed worked quickly and cleanly, and everything looks great.

This is an expensive purchase. But it is worth every penny. The polished look of professional window treatments in my home has enhanced the look and feel of my home and I am extremely happy with the experience. I would do it again!! This company is extremely professional. Great ideas, expert talent, and very nice to work with!

Joy came by with an assortment of up-to-date blind and fabric samples, and photos of a variety of window treatments she had designed. I love her ideas! When the blinds came in, Joy and her installer worked together to make sure everything was just right. It's amazing how dramatically the blinds improved the appearance of each room. Then when the drapes were finished, Joy and her installer came by again and hung them. Everything is so beautiful, I couldn't be happier! Joy also gave me lots of decorating tips while she was here, and helped with selecting paint colors since I also was having the kitchen painted. (The color turned out great and works well with the drapes.) The shower curtain she designed for the bathroom is quite interesting - it's longer, hung higher than the typical. For the laundry room, Joy designed some sheer drapes to cover open shelving that previously was not very attractive. Now, it looks great. Joy is a joy to work with, and I highly recommend her services to anyone interested in window treatments.

I met Joy and her assistant at my house to design a new window treatment for my dinin room. Joy has an extensive catelog of her work and a great selection of fabrics. Together we came up with the perfect design and fabric. Their knowledge and professionalism was impressive. When the drapes were installed, they were magnificent and exceeded my expectation.

Joy and her crew worked all day long.They were clean , quiet , and respectful of my house and family as well as pets. The drapes were rehung and cleaned and they had not been cleaned in at least 10 years. They look absolutely beautiful and practically brand new . everyone worked very hard -each person had their area of expertise and I am thrilled with my drapes and sheers. Everything was great. They came to the house and went through fabric samples with my wife and when the material was ready, they installed the curtains in both the living room and dining room. From the salesperson to the installer, everyone was friendly and professional. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to have curtains installed.

Project went smoothly and was completed on time. Staff provided excellent guidance in my home on choice of fabrics and colors. Owner came to verify measurements before order was finalized. Installer took only 1.5 hours for three windows and a door. After installation, a problem developed with one of the rods. Owner responded promptly and replaced it, no questions asked. I definitely would recommend firm to others and will use them again.

I really, really liked working with Joy. First, she's very good at making suggestions without being too pushy about it. I think she's good at accessing your personal style, staying within those limits, and making solid recommendations. It's very hard to make suggestions and not come across as pushy - Joy has mastered this. Joy has a lot of fabric to choose from. She had a lot of pictures to look at so you can pick your style of curtain. Joy was very patient with me. My husband travels and my job is demanding. Squeezing in time to meet with Joy was a challenge. She never got frustrated and never complained. I am so, so happy with the curtains. We had two bathrooms remodeled. I think of it like this - the bathroom remodel was the cake, the curtains were the icing. The curtains complete the room. I just love them. I look out of my living room window often since I work from home and often work in that room - - - - the curtains looks so fabulous. They lay perfectly and match the color of the room. I don't know that I could have asked for better. So, if you have a great room that is missing a little something, go ahead and hire Joy. You won't be sorry.

Experience was extremely pleasant and free of problems. We have a room that has a lot of different styles as well as different colors in the rug and furniture. Once Joy and I spoke on the phone, she was able to select a certain number of swatches that she thought would be appropriate and between the 2 of us, we selected the fabric. I relied on her expertise and knowledge with a couple of suggestions that she made and couldn't be more pleased with the results. She was even thorough enough to call the fabric distributor once we made the fabric selection and ensure that they had enough of the fabric in stock before she left our house. 2 weeks later the valences were installed and Joy was very particular with making sure that they hung smoothly and met with her and our approval.

The drapery was all wrinkly. I had to wait for her to come out and explain what was wrong. It was a nuisance. However she was very responsive. She said it was a flaw in the material and replaced the drape for me. She backed herself up completely.

Joy and her helper arrived on time and immediately went to work. They finished work in a bit more than an hour and were very neat and clean. The only negative was the smell of the solution that evening. It dissipated by the next day. My wife and I would use this firm again and I would recommend them with enthusiasm.

Although there was trouble hanging the drapes, she stayed until it was right...without grumbling. There was puckering in some areas and Joy came back out and worked on the trouble areas, no charge and no grumblling. I would definitely use her again

Called for information. Joy returned the call promptly. She made arrangements to pick up my window treatments since I was in the middle of installing new windows. The drapes and sheers were all over 20 years old. Joy did an excellent job, tacked up loose hems, and rehung all of them. The drapes look like they are set for another 20 years. I plan to have her come back about some new window treatments and cleaning in the near future. Not cheap but worth it.

I had been agonizing over whether to use an inexpensive workroom I found for my living room drapes because of the high cost of having to cover seven windows. Since the success of window treatments depends so much on the measuring and installion, I decided to give Drapes of Joy a call since I heard their installer was top notch. I met with Joy and not only was she easy to work with, she also gave me invaluable advice regarding the width of my planned drapes. Had I gone with the suggestion of my decorator and her seamstress, the panels would have been too full and I would have been really stuck! Joy didn't mind that I had my own fabric and hardware, either. About five weeks after the order was placed, the drapes were installed and they are gorgeous. I really couldn't be happier. Joy and her installer are excellent. I know the install was trickier and more time consuming than expected, but they didn't complain or try to change the installation price. I couldn't be happier and I finally have the living room drapes I have always wanted. They really look like they should be in a decor magazine! It was well worth the added expense to have a professional handle all the details and I thought Joy's prices were reasonable and competitive, especially after seeing the quality of her work. (I had used a cheaper firm about 10 years ago and the drapes looked like I made and hung them myself). I will definitely use Drapes of Joy again!

I hired Drapes of Joy to do my custom window treatments, shades and slip covers -- wow. We spoke on the phone to get an idea of what types of things I was looking for, fabrics, etc. We made an appointment and Joy came with many different fabrics, ideas and suggestions. Everything is perfect and beautiful and just what I wanted. Joy is extremely professional and knowledgeable. She really gave me some great ideas and is so much fun to work with.

Joy and her co-worker considerately called ahead to let me know they were going to arrive a bit late. They worked very hard from 10:30 am. to almost 4:00 pm. The upholstery was desperately in need of a good cleaning and it looks a lot better. Some stains didn't come out entirely, but they are considerably lightened. My only negative comment is that the end tables on either side of one love seat were left wet.

THE 2 WOMEN WERE VERY POLITE AND EFFICIENT. THEY WERE VERY CAREFUL AND CLEANED UP AFTER THE WORK WAS DONE. THEY GAVE ME INSTRUCTIONS ON TURNING CUSHIONS PERIODICALLY SO THEY WOULD DRY AT AN EVEN PACE. I FOUND THEM TO BE VERY FAIRLY PRICED AND WOULD USE THEM AGAIN. DRAPES OF JOY IS LISTED UNDER DRAPES BUT SHE SHOULD ALSO BE LISTED UNDER UPHOLSTERY CLEANING. I SUGGESTED THAT SHE CALL ANGIE'S LIST TO DEAL WITH HOW TO LIST HER COMPANY. VERY HAPPY WITH OUTCOME AND DEFINITELY WOULD USE THEM AGAIN AND AGAIN!
