Joy is better in doing what she does than I am on a computer! After giving her a good review I gave her all Fs by mistake!! Even after that big mistake, she took my calls and was as professional as ever. Thank goodness I was told of the first review and hope I have not corrected it. Joy and Lorraine are THE BEST!!

I hadn't had the drapes cleaned since moving in and have cats who love to rub against them. My drapes look like new! Excellent job! They even took their shoes off when asked since we don't wear shoes in our home. Also, they did such an excellent job when my 19-year-old son was the one home, since I had to work all day. I will definitely ask Joy and her team back again. Thank you.

All went well. Joy took pictures of each room and in addition to showing me sample fabrics, would then email and mail me additional choices that she had researched on her own. I am pretty fussy, but she helped me nail each room, both fabric and design. In addition, her installation team was professional and precise. Overall, a great and smooth experience which I know with the wrong person, could have been a nightmare. An added plus was that I really liked Joy. She was so easy to talk to and cared about how I felt about how I was feeling during every step of the process. I have gotten many compliments from family and friends on the end results!

Well, I'm a single guy that needed professional help making a simple window with a great view into a work of art. I didn't know where to start. So I turned to Angie's List, as I normally do, to find the answer - and I struck gold! Joy was perfect to work with. She showed me samples and gently guided me in the right direction. They put down plastic and other protections for the wood floors. I definitely would use them and recommend them again.

Couldn't have been done better. Joy's partner and designer came over to my home and we measured and talked about the look I wanted. I also picked out rods for the drapes being made. The fabric was sent directly to Joy's workroom and they were made completely to my specifications! The final phase was hanging the rods and the curtains, which was done in a very timely manner. Very professional and lovely to work with!

It was a joy working with Joy and her team. They were efficient, neat, and professional. Each person had a task and knew exactly what to do! The results were excellent and would definitely have them back to do more work in the future!

My drapes look and feel like new. It had been several years since I had them cleaned and Joy and her team took care to remove stains and clean every pleat. I am very pleased.

I selected the fabrics and placed the order in September, 2013. The project was slated to be completed in 9 weeks and it was completed a little sooner than expected. Joy called and let me know they were completed and we made the arrangements to be installed early afternoon of 10/28/2013. The installation went very well. The drapes are flawless and better than I could have imagined. I am extremely pleased with the drapes and the custom pillows.

First off let me say that if you don't hire Joy you could be making a big mistake. We got Joy's name from Angie's list and after reading the great reviews we asked her to come out and assist us with selecting some window treatments. Each time Joy or Lorraine came to visit they were always on time and very professional. They assisted us in the selection process - giving advice without being pushy. Everything we selected worked out perfectly. We had just installed new carpets and everyone including the installer (Jack) took off their shoes without been asked to do so. Joy gives a 10% discount to Angie's list customers which is real nice. We have contracted with Joy to do some additional work (swags and jabots) and I'm sure that finished product will be just as nice as what was installed earlier today.

Initial consultations were comprehensive and satisfying. Joy spent as much time with me as needed to ensure I was happy with the options I selected for each window requiring treatment. I never felt rushed or pressured at any time. Installation proceeded smoothly and was completed in one workday. All coverings were installed to my complete satisfaction except for my master bedroom window. Its right side mounting bracket loosened during the weeks following installation, causing the covering to sag to one side. Joy quickly responded to my complaint. The installer returned promptly and completely corrected the problem by re-mounting the bracket in an alternative location. I have not had any problems since and am now completely satisfied with the installation of all my window and skylight treatments. I am especially happy with the "top down bottom up" treatments Joy recommended for my bedroom windows. I had not been familiar with this option, but am now convinced they are the ideal solution for maximizing outside lighting while maintaining inside privacy!

Joy was professional, helpful and efficient. She came when promised, measured quickly & correctly, and was flexible with the installation times. Her installer did a great job hanging all of the blinds and curtains. The curtains were ready after the blinds, and Joy worked with us to install them at a convenient time, and followed up afterwards to make sure we were happy with the end result. Joy was very easy to work with & we definitely recommend her work.

Joy and her assistant came in. Carefully removed the five sets of drapes in three rooms. Steam cleaned them and reassembled and rehung them.

Joy and her staff got to know me and my likes and style. They came a few times each time having researched the colors and fabrics we had talked about, they are fabulous,

Beautiful job! These drapes had never been cleaned in 20 years of hanging in our den. She and her halper finished the job in about 2 hours and worked very efficiently to clean drapes and replace furniture that needed to be moved to get to the windows. Highly recommend Joy and will call her again when needed.

The process was very easy and we were treated extremely well by Joy and her associates. Once we contacted Drapes of Joy, an appointment was immediately set up that was convenient for us. Although we had an idea of what we wanted, we looked to them for guidance and suggestions. We looked at a wonderful number of fabric swatches and selected one that we all agreed on. Once the drapes were completed, we were contacted and an appointment was set up for the installation of the wooden poles along with the drapes. Drapes of Joy offers a quality service and take pride in their attention to detail. We had 3 windows that we needed the window coverings for, and the results were just what we had hoed for.

We had a window drape that was sagging and did not know if it needed a repair or we needed a new drape. I called Drapes of Joy after reading the reviews on Angies List. The call was returned promptly , I explained the problem to Joy and we set up an appointment for a week later. Joy arrived on time along with fabric samples in case we wanted a new drape. Joy examined the drape and told us that a small repair could fix the problem, that the drape itself was in good shape, and that we really did not need a new one, unless we wanted a new drape. We decided on the repair, which Joy then did in an extremely expedious and professional manner. The cost of $ 53.00 was so inexpensive that I could hardly believe it. I commend Drapes of Joy for the entire experiemce. Mostly , I commend Joy for her honesty in this matter. It is so refreshing in today's world to find a competent,professional,principled and honest provider of services I recommend Drapes of Joy to anyone who needs this type of service. You will not be disappointed.

Joy was extremely patient and helpful, and gave my mother a lot of good ideas. She really took her by the hand and led her through the entire process, and the results were amazing! We really thought that old valance was going to have to go in the garbage, but she made it look brand new, and perfect again! And the new drapes in the bedroom are also lovely, and perfectly match their existing bedspread. It was a joy to work with Joy!
