Not only was the carpet the right choice but his men were clean and neat. I have a huge bed that they disassembled and moved to get the carpet laid. They put down the carpet and they put the bed back together for me and everything was clean neat and organized. I just had my house painted, and they made sure to not damage anything and they did a great job keeping everything neat and in order.

They're fine. The floor is not level so we had a little bit of chaos. He lay down on the floor and was hammering. Took all day. They tore up the floor, got new flooring and started all over again. They took the bad flooring and put it through my daughter's window because otherwise, you couldn't get out of the house. And he fixed the paneling in my daughter's room. He did a good job. When they said they would do it such-and-such Saturday, they did it early in the morning.

Gary Hershman's 3J Floors and Blinds was recommended by our realtor who specializes in high end properties and who knew we wanted to replace the carpeting in our "new" house with hardwood flooring. Our realtor told us that Gary Hershman had done work for several of his clients and that they were all more than satisfied with the quality of the work. I got estimates from both Gary and a popular big box store. Much to my surprise Gary's estimate for the job was 30% lower than that of the big box store. Based on the recommendation and the difference in price I went with Gary. In addition to personally measuring our house Gary personally supervised the installation crew. They did an excellent job. They moved the furniture, removed the existing carpeting, did some minor sanding on the subflooring, installed the new hardwood, cleaned up and moved the furniture back. All of the trash (the old carpeting, the cardboard boxes the new flooring came in and the scraps) were hauled away. The workmanship was of the highest quality with all of the trim and transition strips lined smoothly fitted in place and the flooring laid with no gaps and no uneven joins.
