My mother was being moved from one location to another. This company was contacted for an estimate. We decided to go with this company, but the truck size that was estimated by the company was too small. My mother's personal items and antique furniture were smashed to fit into the truck. The movers were rude and many items were damaged. The owner would not return our call or own up to mistakes and damage that ensued.

We couldn't have asked for a better experience! There were three young men, who were punctual, courteous and treated our things as if they were their own! They were efficient and careful. The delivery of the two pianos went smoothly and without a hitch. When I arrived at Find's- they began carrying the furniture, lamps, pictures into the store. They had been working in 90 degree heat for several hours, but still were cheerful and pleasant. I would Definitely recommend them to ALL of my friends and anyone who wants a professional team of movers.
Description of Work: This is the third time that WALKS have moved a piano for us. This time, they moved TWO pianos! They also moved the contents of my parents' house, as it was going to Find's in Hollidaysburg.

I hired Walk's Piano Movers to move a 1903 antique baby grand piano, a 1920 player piano, and a 1996 Kurzweil digital grand piano. This company is very unprofessional ! Do Not Hire Them ! They smashed the wood keyboard enclosure to my 1996 Kurzweil digital grand piano. They had told me they were insured when I hired them for the piano move. They acknowledged that they broke the piano on the day of the move and that they would pay for the repairs. However, they refused to pay for the repair of the keyboard enclosure for my Kurzweil, and it cost me several hundred dollars to get the piano professionally repaired by the local Kurzweil dealer !!! I tried contacting Walk's Piano Movers three (3) times after the owner threatened to sue me for harassment. This company is VERY UNPROFESSIONAL and DOES NOT PROVIDE GOOD SERVICE. Let the buyer beware !
