Solar Shield’s Rep – (Denny) came we talked about what was to be done then his contractor showed up about 8 talked with them. The did the job in 2 days. Quite impressed.

It went as good as we expected. They came when they said they would be here and completed the job in a timely manner. The contractors were very professional and pleasant!

From our very first consult meeting we felt like we were their most important customer. We were provided every detail and every piece of information. As we got closer to the actual start of our project Dan Green was in constant contact with us. The crew that came and did our installation was outstanding. They told us exactly what they were doing each day and kept the site very clean. Anytime we had questions they took time to answer them and explain the process. The project only took 5 days and it was very obvious to us Solarshield takes great pride in their work. Outstanding quality and the room is beautiful!!

Contractors were on time. Windows installer called ahead to let us know what time they would be here. Gutter guy showed up without notification and got us out of bed.

DO NOT do business with this arrogant owner. He reminded me he has been in business for 25 years and will survive my bad review REALLY!

the installation took as long as they told us it would, they completed everything in one day. the workmanship met our standards, the finished product looks good. the workers were polite and informative, and cleaned up everything after work was done. my wife was impressed that when they came into our house they removed their shoes before walking across our carpets. over all we are well pleased and look forward to sitting down and discussing our next BIG project.

Overall the work went well. The workers cleaned up not only after they was done but during the project. If I seen areas I didn't like they fixed it to my liking. The completed job was very good. I would recommend.

They were very professional. They came and measured for the awning, gave us an estimated date which they kept. They came today to install the awning and it is high quality and they installed it quickly without any problems. The workers were very nice and professional.

Danny and Wes were later than expected but they called ahead so that worked out well. Both guys were very cordial and very nice throughout, quite professional the work was extremely well done. Because I had insisted on providing my own wood, it was in my kitchen and all of the wood in the kitchen is walnut and everything is hand done so I insisted on getting the wood myself. So they had some cutting and measuring to do, no complaints just dug in and did the work. They were here until 930 till after 6 o'clock no complaints.

From start to finish, because we live in the woods, they were here when they said they would be here. It was difficult because they had to be up and down from the first floor to the second. It was not an easy project. They cleaned up after themselves every day after they left. So far the job they did was wonderful.

From start to finish it was done very well. The workers were excellent and explained everything they were doing. I am overall pleased 100 percent.

After much discussion with Dan Jr. and different ideas, Solarshield sent a crew out in the Fall of 2014 and re-constructed the room. As of March of 2015 most all the problems have been fixed and the two remaining ones have dates to be completed. They did back up their work and were professional enough to fix prior mistakes. Any homeowner wants to know a company will fix what they may not complete correctly the first time. We all know mistakes happen but backing up their business shows good business and community responsibility. Thanks

Solarshield exceeded my expectations. Customer service was excellent and we are lucky to have such great installers!

Used independent contractors for installation and they rushed through the process. Had to constantly check up them and point out imperfections. Independent contractor and Solarshield were very responsive to our concerns during and after the installation.

When we moved into this house a year ago, it had an old whirlpool tub in it that sounded like a freight train. You certainly couldn't take a relaxing bath in it, so basically we never used it. The bath surround looked like it had been pieced because the colors did not match. That wasn't the worst of it. Basically the only bathroom in this house needed a major redo. It took us quite awhile to decide what we really wanted this room to look like. Solar Shield had the deep tub that I wanted because I like taking long relaxing baths to de-stress. Their products were exactly what we had been looking for. The installers were very professional in that they wanted to make sure the end result was exactly what we wanted. We were consulted with every part of the project. We will be adding another bathroom downstairs in the near future and will be using Solar Shield for that project. The work was done on time. We are very satisfied with the work that was done.

They were very professional with me from the beginning to the end. The work they did was excellent even though the carpenter had to work in some very bad weather conditions. He never complained about the weather but would just smile and keep on working.

Bad They were several weeks late to show up. Finishing up other jobs and truck troubles. We had voiced complaints to Danny Green throughout the build. He would say please wait until it is complete I guarantee you will like it. I did make them reset the outside wall while on site(Bowed 5/8" in 26 feet). Roof panels were spliced in and tape used to cover seams. Two of the windows won't latch closed due to improper alignment. One of the panels was over cut and caulk used to patch it up. The trim work was sloppy and in one case a piece of aluminum angle was added to cover a poor miter joint. A company rep was sent to meet with me and found deficiencies as well. They had to order a new roof panel which has been two months coming. Job still not complete.

The transaction went very well. Our old (20 years) skylights began to leak and we called Solarshield about installing new skylights. Solarshield gave us a quote, we accepted the quote, paid a down payment, and about eight weeks later the installation occurred. We also explained that we have always had heat retention issues on our 2nd floor during the summer. Solarshield then recommended an upgraded skylight that would help keep the temperature more comfortable on the 2nd floor. While we haven't gotten to use the skylights through a full summer season yet, the temperatures do seem to be more consistent across the floors with the new skylight installation. As far as the actual install, we didn't have any issues. The installer came to the house, headed up to the roof, and performed the install within a day. Solarshiled was very professional and we would consider using them again in any home improvements/repairs we may need.

This was horrible! Told they would start job in 4-6 weeks (4-14-14) didn't start until July! Told it would take 2 day to a week. It took 4 weeks. I am still cleaning up the messes they left behind. They showed up on a Wednesday (after I called to get it scheduled) I was told they would work Friday & Saturday but the guy said he had to leave to to install windows at another project. He came back next day and left early again. Installed shower walls - not evenly-all wrong! So I get a call Friday morning that no one is coming until next Monday. (I have only 1 bathroom). I will skip the middle - installation-messy. Then they didn't have all the materials. I thought since I ordered everything in April, all should be in by July. Put up two mismatched towel rods. They would have left it that way if I hadn't said anything. Nicks in the trim from their sloppiness. Left the shower head badly loose and I had to fix it. Then, I show salesman and he tells me not to get so upset!!!!! Then they finish and I get these people out of my house. Weeks later I am cleaning the adjacent room and move a cabinet. I find holes in the wall where they installed medicine cabinet in bathroom. They didn't tell me about this. This was a nightmare. I wouldn't recommend them to plunge a toilet. Oh, no one apologized for any of this, just excuses!

Job went very well. Courteous, professional-No complaints.
