Description of Work: Graham construction was s sub contractor for a company who was to install fencing and decking at my home, I will preface this by saying that the gentlemen were very nice and hard working, I wasn't always at home when they were here and for the most part I believe there may have been a bit of miscommunication between the Company and Mr. Graham. At any rate, his employees called him and he came and met with me in less than an hour from the call and resolved the issue of the dimensions and location of the fence The fence is not properly installed as it is coming loose in sections, I will say that the one section my dog does jump on however the others are out of reach to her. Even so, that's why I have a fence. The contracting co. came out and decided that it was faulty material and the question was were the sections bowed before installation of after? At any rate my dogs stood up to see something on the other side , the fence came apart and like dogs will do they bolted and I chased them all evening . The decking portion was never done, They were to come back when the weather permitted (we have had quite a few good days since October) I just cancelled the order about 3 weeks ago. The clean up was terrible, I'm still finding cigarette butts in the yard, loose cement had dried on the driveway , I had to buy a scraper to remove it and a landscape light had obviously been dug up and was lying on the ground unlit. mounds of dirt were never put back into place. I had asked Mr. Graham for an estimate to have a shed built when he was here in October and I have still not heard back from him. Evaluations are very subjective and difficult to do as situations are different for everyone. Was faulty material installed? I don't know, were the screws too short in some places? Yes but again he was the sub contractor and the store may have certain protocol for materials used. I can however address the issue of the decking and never hearing from him as to why he didn't come back and why I never got the estimate for the shed and I will also state for a fact that the clean up was almost non existent BUT I can not speak to the quality of his work in general.

Beware of John graham Construction. We ended up with them because we went through Lowes and this is who they sent originally. We signed the contract on 10/15/12, part of the reason we went with Lowes was because the young man who came and gave the quote assured us that the crew would start in two weeks and be done two weeks after that. That would have put us into the middle of November to be done. Well, John Graham called and made excuses and then never showed up. Then he would call again and then never show up. Finally about the last week of November, 6 weeks after we signed the contract we get a call from Lowes on Saturday saying that he is going to show up at 5:00 AM! Well I got up and he did not show up again. Our original job was for 22 windows and siding on our home and garage. Lowes finally sent someone else out to do the windows, Rick Mock, he was very good and was in and out in one week by himself with all 24 windows done very nicely. Still no word from John Graham. When John's crew finally did show up, they did not have any type of person in charge. Each day there were different guys and each day they worked different ways. When John finally did show up he seemed very aloof and did not really seem to care. He came to our home maybe four or five times in the three weeks that it took his crews to and quot;Finishand quot; the job. I say finish because they really never did finish. I talked to one of the guys and told them that the front porch ends were suppose to be done and he said that John told him not to do those. The last thing they said before they left was that someone would be back by to finish the cleanup. They never came back. There are small sharp aluminum pieces all over my yard and property. Tonight when I came home, I found a piece of the siding on the ground. Do yourself a favor and stay away from John Graham construction, John is not a good communicator and he is not a good foreman. The job was done poorly from start to finish and we are going to fight with Lowes to get him out of there and get some type of satisfaction on this job. Run now.

Overall, not a good experience.
Description of Work: We originally scheduled an appointment with this company on Friday, October 28th, 2011 @ 10:00a.m.. When no one showed up by 12:30p.m., I called and told the receptionist that no one had arrived. She was uncertain why... I explained my husband had worked third shift and had waited up for someone to come. She was apologetic and wanted to make a new appointment for the following week. We made it for Tues, November 1st, 2011 @ 10:00a.m. The man who came wanted to put the defective ridge vent back on my roof and did not even check our interior damage. He just told my husband he would get back to him with an estimate. When my husband informed me of this, I called and left a message asking for someone to come and check the interior damage. When we received no response, I emailed them. This company obviously lacks customer service and does not want repeat business.

We are very impressed by John and his attention to detail and quality. We were very impressed with the speed at which he intially addressed the roof leak, back in April, saving our home from further problems caused by that particular leak. We expect, based on our positive experience with his company thus far, that they will be the company we choose to do the roof replacement, when we are finally ready to move forward with the project. Hopefully, very soon.
Description of Work: We first called John Graham Construction about April 10, 2011, regarding a roof leak we found, 2 days after moving in our newly purchased home. John sent his crew over within 24 hours and they were able to apply emergency repairs which effectively stopped the leak from progressing. We then asked John to come and do a more thorough roof inspection and give us an estimate of repairs. John's inspection was thorough and detailed. The estimate was received within 2 weeks, as promised. Due to some ongoing situations with the roof, we have not yet begun the roof replacement project, but we have had several different contractors come and give us estimates. The estimate given by Graham Construction has been within a few hundred dollars of the other estimates, however, the attention to detail, with some extra steps to address ventilation issues, has shown us the thoroughness and professionalism of John's work, thus far. He noted in his estimate issues with the roof that had been discovered by an independant roof inspector, but not noted by the other contractors we brought in for estimates.

John Graham came out on a Sunday, no less and gave me an estimate for my rancher's roof ( with attached garage and breezeway). When the monsoons finally ended in late spring, John gave me a ballpark date to come out and start. A couple of days before they were due to start, he called to verify start time at 7:30 am. And boy, were they on time! I had to rush to work to get out of their way- these guys descended upon the job like a NASCAR pit crew. Anyway, by the time they left, around 7:30 that evening, the job was just about done. Unbelievable! While they were pulling the old shingles off the little porch over the front door, the whole thing collapse out into the front yard. Graham and Co. conferred with me, then the next day rebuilt the whole porch for me- getting the supplies themselves. The job was started on time, finished in a very timely manner, the estimate was pretty much right on, excluding the extra work and supplies which was discussed beforehand, the price was right up there with other estimates I'd had done, and I am a very satisfied customer. Also I want to say that the cleanup was excellent, which anyone who has had extensive work done on a house knows is very important- no debris, trash, or any other stuff laying around, most importantly roofing nails. I've already given John's card out and recommended his company to anyone who has asked.
Description of Work: Estimate given. Shingled roof put on rancher home with enclosed breezeway and attached garage. Excellent cleanup. .
