Everything went well. His estimates and follow-up were timely. He personally came to our door to apologize that the roofers came and asked to work a day earlier than expected.

I nor my father ever saw Mr. Olewine at the job site. The job was completed sometime in August 2003. Final payment was made which totaled over $31,000. Problems with my roof leaking, had probably started long before 2010 because of numerous water stains I saw once in the attic. During August of 2010 there was a lot of rain and wind. Water marks began to appear on my ceilings and walls in the family room. Once In the attic, I realized I had a major leak around the chimney extending onto the plywood and rafter below the chimney. You could see the water stains in the attic on the rafters and plywood around the chimney. I called my insurance company. They sent numerous adjustors up to check it out. They reported back to my agent that it was faulty installation of the flashing around the chimney. Mr. Olewine had flashed the chimney when he built new addition. He came up and took pictures of the flashing around the chimney stating that the flashing was properly installed then quickly left me to deal with my dilemma, while clearing himself of any liability. Also, he replaced to end plugs on the ridge vent which he said was causing the water damage. Let me mention, that he was well paid for any of this work. The water continued to run in around the chimney down the rafter and into my family room.. The other leak running onto my ceiling and walls in the family room was so difficult to find that I hired another contractor to cut a hole in the ceiling to discover where it was originating from. There was a major leak coming from the new addition's ridge vent running across the rafters and onto my ceiling and walls. I have pictures of the blackened plywood below the ridge vent on the new addition, water stains around chimney and the hole I had to cut in my ceiling. A roofing contractor showed me where shingles weren't sealed down on the new addition. I have decided to have a new roof put on this summer. I would be happy to provide you with names, pictures etc. When I contacted Mr. Olewine about my leaks, I felt he wanted no part of it. He made his $30,000. Good Riddens to you, Lady
