Description of Work: Had to come 3 times to fix my furnace. Charged me twice when first serviceman came 2 times. Furnace was worse after 2nd visit. 3rd visit they sent Mike, who took care of the problem in 15 minutes. Mike knows his stuff! Only have 2 servicemen who work on oil furnaces.

Description of Work: I have been a Boyer customer for almost a year. After the 9 years before ( see review of ALLIED MECHANICAL & ELECTRICAL dated 09-17-2013 ) you can be assured that I watched everything they did, and cut the Boyer team no slack at all. So if you are not part of the Boyer family of customers, and are looking for a professional company to do a quality job for you. I STRONGLY suggest that you give them a call.

Description of Work: Removed and replaced furnace and thermostat.

Description of Work: Scott installed our two stage high effeciency furnace around 2000. They also did ductwork for us, as well as cleaning duct work, etc. I was very happy with them ten years ago but i think they have grown too fast and their staff quality has declined. We constantly have basement flooding from what i feel is a lousy design of the condensate pump from our dehumidifier. the hose clogs and the overflow floods the basement. Their design but they charge me for the malfunction. They are also not up to speed with technology. I tried to talk to them about installing a "Nest" thermostat. They were not familiar with it. They sent a consultant out to give me a cost benefit analysis on upgrading my outside condenser but he could not.

Description of Work: Boyers installed our air conditioning 15 years ago, leaving a loud, distinct dripping noise in the master bedroom. They said they would return to correct it shortily after it was installed, but never did. I did talk to the technician, but fall came, and I was busy with raising a family and working so I let it go. We finally decided after 15 years of dripping to call and ask them to correct it. First of all, they don't keep their appointments, and it took us 3 months from the original call to get them to come look at the problem. Then, they sent the same technician out to access the situation for which he charged us $70 for about five minutes of his time. Then a boy came who didn't really know what he was doing, and he went to Lowes to purchase some PVC pipe. When he first corrected it, the drainage dripped over our front door. So, he had to come back and correct that. Then we received a bill for $307.00. We went to the main office and complained, asking for a reduction of what should have been done years earlier. We offered to pay for materials and half of the labor. They said they would ask Charlie Boyer about it, so we waited and didn't hear anything. We foolishly thought they had decided to drop the bill, so we received a registered letter in the mail six months later threatening to report us to a collection agency. Unbelievable. We immediately went to see Denny, the office manager, who didn't have the courage to call us and tell us that Boyer had decided we had to pay the full amount. Denny was SO SORRY, he kept telling us. Right. So, we paid the bill and now are on a mission to tell everyone we know not to have any business with this company. They do not stand behind their product, and their sercice is pathetic.
