In August 2015 I contacted A1 for a quote to expand my driveway. I received the quote within a few days and after reviewing I tried multiple times to contact them via voice mail and email (I even sent a message to A1 through Angie's List before submitting this review). I have not received any response from these messages in two months. I understand you are probably very busy but is a return call/email asking too much?

They had an estimate to us very quickly. Within 2 weeks of us accepting the estimate they had scheduled our installation. We were pushed back 2 days due to weather, but that was obviously completely out of the providers control. Work was done in a day, they answered all of our questions leading up to and after the installation. Final cost matched the estimate. Workers on site were all very cordial. The price was a little higher (but not much) than another company's estimate, but we went with A1 based on better word of mouth. Very glad we did.
Description of Work: Paved our driveway, which was previously unpaved.

Th.e company showed up when scheduled and completed the work in a timely .manner. After getting multiple bids, they came in somewhere in the middle. I would use them again.

It was great . The rain held the company from getting here but onne here they were done in an afternoon.

Overall, not so great. The story is not done because there is still more work to be done.
Description of Work: A-1 pavers installed my driveway in my new home. First off the swell was not right and the first big rain did damage to the ground arond the driveway. They then came and fixed the swell, but left big chucks of pavement in the dirt around the new section of driveway. Now there is a nice sized crack across my driveway where then fixed the swell. Now they are going to have to dig up again and fix my driveway for the second time.
