Mike did a great job - he was on time, friendly, and completed all work as requested.

Mike and Paul did a great job for us. We have a newer build that has shown the typical settling, molding gaps and screw head pops. They came in with an eye for detail and addressed all of these areas before painting. They worked very quickly and the quality of work was high. They were very courteous and patient especially with color choice changes. We are very pleased with the results. We highly recommend Mike's company.

We did bid this job out. Michael was not only the low bidder, but he was the most impressive in his walk through. I could tell he understand what he needed to do to paint an old house like this. The job went fantastic. Let me start with how it began. Getting the job started was very hard because of the weather. But Michael made sure he always communicated when he would be here and what he would do. I've dealt with many contractors who are poor at communicating. Michael was great. The job was done over a week and a half, but they worked about 4 days due to the weather. The house looks great. We've wanted to bring our house "back to its glory days" and the paint job really does that. I will be passing Michael's name to all my friends. If you are looking for a painter, make sure you look into Michael Leo Painting.

It went very well. 2 workers and they were real Pros. Cant say enough, they are top knotch in every way. They showed up on time worked steady and finished on time. No surprises only satisfaction. Very experienced and clean workers. No spilled paint or missed spots. Would only use quality paint (Sherwin Williams) which is what I wanted. If you have a nice house and want a quality job done; these are the guys to use.

When I called, Michael responded very quickly. I was preparing for a family event, and he was able to squeeze me in with very short notice. Very good quality.

Arrived when he said he would, put up with a young dog wanting to play, had good suggestions and helped replace high items. His pricing was reasonable, work was professional, and left the home very neat.

Mike and his helper arrived early and they both worked very efficiently. Mike is a very easy guy to work with and really tries to accommodate the customer.

I am not happy with this company as they did a terrible job. They did not use the right paint or follow thru with my instructions. They did not do the scraping and painted over nails and there are places they missed. I would not recommend them to anyone.

Mike responded with a return call the same day I left a message and set up an appointment for an estimate. He arrived as promised, provided an estimate on the spot which I accepted. He called the next day to confirm a start date. He arrived as promised with his helper Josh and completed the job in 3 days as scheduled. He covered and moved all the large furniture which we had left in the rooms. He cleaned up completely every night. He used 1 coat of primer and 2 coats of paint in each room. He worked very fast but was not messy and did not skimp on his quality of work. He even cleaned the skylight in the kitchen.

I liked the ratings he had on Angie's List. We had several estimates. He was flexible and able to get to the work done in a time frame that suited us. He was extremely professional and wonderful to work with. He was really accommodating and did a few extra jobs that were not in the agreement. He was conscientious about his work and wants customer satisfaction.

Overally, a pretty poor performance on the part of Mike and his crew. It all started out well as Mike provided us with a price substantially lower than other painters, he got us scheduled quickly, and he and his crew showed an initial conscientiousness with their work. Unfortunately, as soon as Mike discovered that the drywall beneath our wallpaper was in need of quite a bit of repair; prior to painting Mike just started to rush through the job pressuring us to pay him along the way. WE EVEN OFFERED TO RENEGOTIATE THE PRICE OF THE JOB SO THAT THE WORK WOULD BE DONE RIGHT, but Mike was more interested in getting done and moving on to his next job and refused our offer. He even lied to us about the extent of work that his plaster could do, which we discovered when his plasterer informed us that he could do the work in one of our bathrooms that Mike claimed was beyond his crew (Mike gave us a $200 discount and did not finish the bathroom). To provide a sense of just how bad it got, I wanted to try to pressure Mike to return to redo portions of the work, but my wife did not want him back in our house!

Mike removed wall paper and painted several rooms in my home. His prices were the most reasonable I obtained. He was prompt and he and his crew were very easy to work with. I was a little disappointed by the thoroughness of the wall paper removal. I am still removing small bits from moldings months later. Cleanup after wallpaper removal left something to be desired. He worked very fast and I was left to wonder if that was part of the problem. I was very happy with his painting job in the rooms that did not require wall paper removal. I will rehire him to paint.

Over all it went well. The only thing that disappointed was he worked a little fast. I wasn't dissatisfied with the work, but I think he rushed a bit. I would use his services again I would just check it first. He was professional.

It was horrible. He was supposed to clean the grime from the railing but he ended up shellacking over the dirt, without benefit of sanding, he painted over dirty walls, nails, holes, bits of glue from the removal of wallpaper. He was supposed to match the stain on the stairs where the carpet ends, and instead he just went over it with the stain, not matching up where the new carpet ended. He would lie about what he did, and the final thing was that there was a line of paint on the ceiling from an earlier paint job and he promised to match it but instead just painted over it with a can from his truck.

Mike showed up to estimate the job when he said. He was able to meet our expected dates and even pulled the job up one day, with our approval. His crew was 10 minutes late the first day, but he had already called to tell us. The rest of the job was perfect to the schedule. The paper was removed without a spot left. The hole was patched well. Both coats of paint were applied. The crew cleaned up and left while the paint was still drying and Mike has offered to return if we notice any spots that need touch-up. The job lasted 2 days. The crew cleaned the area completely both days and left everything in excellent condition. We are painting the 'easy' areas of our house ourselves. Mike was willing to use the same paint we are using elsewhere, even though he typically uses a different brand.

Mike was prompt and courteous from the beginning of the estimate appointment to the final day. His crew was efficient and well organized during the work and was flexible to work around our schedule. Mike was knowledgeable and his crew competent enough to assure that the estimate that was quoted was accurate and fair. No surprises. He also was flexible on the choice of paint color, even though my wife changed her mind at the last minute. I think Mike prides himself on his work and work ethic and it shows.

Michael and one other worker arrived on time and did the work in a timely and professional manner. They cleaned up well after themselves. They did a good job and I am pleased with the work.

I liked Michael because he provided a good estimate and stuck to his estimate; the rate didn't change after the job was done. He was prompt and retouched specific areas that needed it and I find him to be trustworthy as well.

FROM OUR INITIAL CONTACT WITH MICHAEL, THIS WAS A POSITIVE EXPERIENCE. FROM START TO FINISH, MICHAEL WAS GREAT TO WORK WITH. HE WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND IN EVERY POSSIBLE WAY. HE AND HIS WORK ARE IMPECCABLE. HE ALWAYS RETURNS PHONE CALLS PROMPTLY, SHOWED UP EXACTLY WHEN HE SAID THE WOULD, AND LEFT THE HOUSE IMMACULATE AT THE END OF EACH DAY. I HAVE NEVER HAD THE PLEASURE OF WORKING WITH SUCH A TRUE PROFESSIONAL. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND MICHAEL LEO'S PAINTING. HE IS THE BEST.

Michael promptly returned our initial phone call for an estimate, and came out within a week to provide us with an estimate. His price was 20% below the best estimate we received from other contractors. He and his helper were very punctual and arrived every day at 8AM as scheduled. There work was done in a very professional manner and resulted in my wife and I being very satisfied with the work that was done.

Went very well. Excellent job in the estimated timeframe.

Mike and David were on time, clean, polite and very professional. They started with master bedroom, living room, powder room, family room and front door. We liked their work so we ask them to paint the dining room and foyer as well. Overall we are happy with the result of their work and we already booked their schedule for April for another job.

Michael came out the same day I called to give an estimate (though this is a slow period, so don't expect he can always do this)!! His quote was excellent and he actually called a few days later to LOWER it! I thought he was personable, and trusted that he'd do a good job. We went with another contractor because the other guy could do several odd jobs for us. I will definitely keep Michael's number handy and hope to use him for other projects in the future.
