We hired JCM Landscaping to build a retaining wall and pour a concrete patio and we couldn’t be happier with the results! Chris and his team were great to work with; they took the time to ask questions so they could truly understand how we wanted the finished product to look. It was worth the wait to have Chris install the walkway from the lower level to the back patio. Both Chris and his crew were personable and hardworking. I would not hesitate to recommend his business for anyone who was considering this type of work done. He will be used again in the future should I require any further hardscape projects.

In reference to J.C.M. Landscaping, 2567 Wildwood Road, Allison Park, PA. 15101, Owner Chris Swope. During June 2016, we hired J.C.M. Landscaping of Allison Park to perform excavation, hardscape, and landscaping work in our yard. Prior to the project, owner Chris Swope visited our property to evaluate the project, took the time to discuss options, and provided a straightforward estimate with no hidden costs. The job went smoothly and was completed as Mr. Swope had planned. We are very satisfied with the end result, and the project turned out better than we hoped! Throughout the job from start to finish, Mr. Swope kept us informed and involved with decisions and progress. Mr. Swope was always available by phone to answer questions. He was easy to work with and provided us with options for our project that improved upon the original design. The project consisted of removal of an existing failing retaining wall, partial excavation of a hillside to create level ground area for an above ground pool, and finally building the new retaining wall. Mr. Swope worked with us to saved money on our project by reusing existing retaining wall block from the failing wall built by a previous owner. In addition, the reuse of the block was performed to match an existing portion of the wall that did not require repair. We were very happy to be able to reuse what we already had and only had to purchase a minimal amount of block for the new wall. After the wall was complete, Mr. Swope and his crew graded and leveled the area for our above ground pool. The new wall fits perfectly around our pool and the project was a success. It can be tough to find good contractors. We are grateful that we had an opportunity to work with Mr. Swope and his team. My husband and I would definitely recommend J.C.M. Chris and his crew are top shelf. They fixed some major problems I had with drainage and slope, re-doing a patio and adding a retaining wall along with proper grading. Excellent work.

I had the guys over ,they gave me a fair price as well as a great looking versalock retaining wall completed the next day. Crew was kind and respectful of me ,my dogs and my property . I would hire them again no problem. Thanks guys!!

Chris and his crew did a great job installing trees and shrubs, edging and mulching. They were very professional, curtious, and friendly. When they were finished, they cleaned and washed the driveway and sidewalk. I would highly recommend them.

Chris and the guys from JCM did quality work on my concrete walkway and patio, at a very competitive price. They book up quickly during the construction season, so it would be wise to schedule early and give Chris a call regularly to see how his schedule is laying out so you know when to expect him. Talk to him about the variety of other services JCM can offer, as well, if you have other types of jobs planned.

Chris and his team are very professional and I would recommend them to any homeowner who wants quality landscaping done for their home.

I just had JCM Landscaping replace two retaining walls as well as replace an asphalt driveway with new concrete. The work was done professionally and the owner, Chris, treated my wife and I with respect. He provided his honest professional opinion and suggestions, but allowed us to make our decisions and did the work as I asked. The whole crew took a great deal of pride in their work and it showed in their attention to detail. I felt like they were committed to my being satisfied with the final product.

I had checked out a few companies to build a retaining wall and do a total rehab landscaping job - my impressions varied of the different quotes and companies that responded. Then I found Chris Swope. This guy REALLY loves what he does and it shows - not only is he very experienced, but he also takes great pride in what he does and that was very important for me. The job came out absolutely beautiful and his prices were far better than others. Will ONLY call this guy in the future and have already referred him to others. We are extremely pleased with the new sidewalk and stoop replacement that Chris and his crew did for us. They were very professional, efficient and went above and beyond our expectations by providing an upgraded finish and bringing in and spreading topsoil to integrate the new cement work into the existing landscape.
