Bob gave us the estimate for the entire job and explained the materials and what work would be done. Roman and his crew were very polite and professional throughout the entire process which was done in a very timely manner. Every bit of the old roof was cleaned up! Both Bob and Roman were very easy to contact when we had questions. They both went out of their way to make sure that we were satisfied. They even did a few extra things like sealing a leaking gutter joint! The roof looks great, the skylights look great and we could not be happier with the job that they did. We highly recommend Empire Roofing and More for a new roof .

I live in NH, so finding a knowledgeable, competent, and reliable roofing expert was more challenging, especially when trying to find a roofing contractor who did the work themselves. Roman Iwanyshyn was all of these and more - he expertly repaired the roof, plus he provided very insightful information on exact condition of the roof and exactly what needed to be done. Roman addressed the home inspector reports, pointing out what was correct, incorrect and missing. Roman showed up on time, and he was a very clear, easy to understand, and articulate communicator, which made the repair process extremely easy while instilling confidence that everything was done right the first time (which was the case). Empire provided a quote and brought actual samples of shingles out to my house so that I could compare against my brick. This was much better than trying to choose a color in a catalog. Empire worked with me to meet my insurance company's requirements. They installed by the deadline and cleaned up the site when they finished the job.

I had a positive experience from my first meeting with Bob through the entire installation process. Roman introduced himself when he arrived in the morning with the crew and gave me just a quick overview of how they would proceed. When I arrived home the roof was completed and I was amazed by the cleanup, there was no mess left behind at all. Roman followed up with a phone call in the evening and Bob stopped by the next day. Great experience and I would highly recommend.

Three workers were just as fine as the boss. They arrived early in the day ready to work, professional in every way. Anticipating their arrival, the driveway was clear, access to electricity was available, and from my end, installation seemed to go very well. They, however, did not figure on the "helpful assistance" of my 5 year old grandson who followed one of them everywhere, to the point of eating lunch with them. Nate "worked" as hard as they did--these guys deserve kudos--they were fantastic with him. They were very kind and gracious to the little guy saying he was not a bother. They also took care to observe a bird's nest before removing it and clean up was great! Additionally they took the extra few minutes to install my clean rain barrels at each end which I appreciated very much. Not my cheapest estimate, but very impressive all the way around.

The company was great working with us. They knew that we were getting several quotes and never once pressured us into giving them an answer. We took a few weeks to make a decision and the company was very respectful at giving us the time to work through all quotes. Other companies were calling us every other day asking if we made a decision yet. We were estimated to wait 3 weeks to get our new roof, but they were able to fit us in within one week. The material arrived, the crew got to work, and they cleaned up. Extra material was picked up in a timely manner. The staff was nice, clean, and aware of their surroundings. The sales staff was well informed and worked with us to come up with the best ways to approach our new roof (vent fans vs. ridge vents).

Empire did a great job. A project manager gave my project a thorough appraisal, and we worked out a roofing plan that really suited my needs. The crew worked efficiently and finished the job in less than a day. The roof looks great and the clean-up was impeccable. I was really happy with the work, the price, and the customer service.

We had a few roofers come by who gave us bids before Empire was referred to us. Empire's rep, Bob Kushon visited us, went up on the roof and then blew us away with his presentation. Others just gave a figure, showed us some sample shingles, may or may not even have looked at the roof and left. After Bob presented his info and explanation of his product, warranties and workmanship, we made our decision on the spot. The installers were in and out in a day and left no traces of the installation except a beautiful new roof! We would recommend Empire to anyone.

No one likes to have to spend money to replace a roof and skylight, but necessary as a homeowner. Bob came out and inspected and measured my roof and took care of shingles that had snapped off. He was extremely knowledgeable and professional as he explained everything about Empire's products. Roman contacted me not long after and we had a set time for the work to be done. Everyone was professional, kind and considerate. Their roofers worked hard all day and then again into the next day to finish. Clean-up was excellent and I had no issues with nails or debris. I was very pleased with Empire Roofing & More from the initial estimate to the completion of my roof replacement project. Bob provided a thorough explanation of the products, procedure, and warranty when providing the estimate. The crew finished within the estimated time and left me with not only a great looking roof but a completely cleaned up yard and no mess. Roman, the owner, even did a walk through when it was done and made sure I was happy. Very good quality work for a reasonable price, and less than most competitors.

I called at 7 a.m. and got a call back in 30 minutes. The repairman came out 45 minutes later and fixed the roof. Unbelievable service response and quality. Very professional.

I highly recommend this provider. Their pre-work inspection of what needed to be done was more thorough than any other provider we considered. And, the owner patiently explained what they planned to do and what differentiated their offering (quality resulting in superior warranty). The actual work was done quickly and professionally with the site being clean and restored to "normal" after they were done.

Work was completed quickly and ahead of schedule. All employees very polite and courteous. Roof looks good. During his visit to give me a quote before I contracted him, Roman got up on my roof and repaired some minor leaks free of charge. My only complaints are minor - I asked them not to touch a vegetable garden. Several hours later, I came outside and saw the garden covered in black plastic, baking in the sun, with a ladder right in the middle of it. I asked them to move all of that and they readily did. I would suggest they use cloth rather than plastic covers for foundation landscaping the future because some of my foundation plants were damaged because they were under that plastic in the hot sun all day. Also, they tore a few window screens while throwing the old material off the roof. When this was brought to their attention, they came out and repaired all the screens free of charge. I consider these problems to be minor because they were corrected quickly and with a positive attitude. They were always extremely responsive and they did a good job on what I paid them for - the roof. Price was much more affordable than the other competitor who also gave me a quote.

Roman was professional, explained everything, gave cost estimate, finished the work within the time frame he stated, crews were great and cleaned up when they were finished. Would hire again.

We had asked Mr. Iwanyshyn in the fall if he would be available in the spring. He called us in March due to the mildness of the winter and asked if they could do the job early. He and his crew arrived bright and early and were able to complete a 2 day job in 1 day. The crew was dedicated and appear to have done a terrific job. Mr Iwanyshyn returned after the work had been completed by the crew to do a thorough inspection and clean up including sweeping the driveway for loose nails that had fallen from the work. The price was as estimated and the quality of the work outstanding. We would strongly recommend Empire Roofing & More, and Mr. Iwanyshyn for anyone needing a roof replacement.

The project went very well. Empire Roofing had the lowest price of three bidders but was also our first choice regardless of price. They were punctual, fast (the project was essentially completed in one day), polite, and good roofers. No payment was required until the job was completed.

They did exactly what was agreed upon. The appearance of my home looks a lot better. They did not leave a mess and were very professional.

Roman Iwanyshyn, the owner of Empire Roofing & More, is a man of integrity who exemplifies an admirable work ethic. My family received bids from several other companies who suggested that we replace the entire roof on my elderly mother's house. Mr. Iwanyshyn came highly recommended to us from one of my sister's neighbors in Pittsburgh, PA for whom he had done some roofing work. I called Mr. Iwanyshyn personally and asked him if he would even consider going to take a look at my mother's roof because of the fact that she lived 45 minutes away in New Castle, PA. He scheduled a tentative time with me based on weather conditions and on an agreed upon day, drove to New Castle to assess the damage. After surveying the roof, he suggested that we could quite possibly get by with replacing the lost shingles instead of replacing the entire roof, then proceeded to complete the work himself on the same day. He charged us a very nominal fee for the work. I am a business owner myself in Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas, and too often I see good work that goes unrecognized or unrewarded with positive feedback. I felt compelled to write this review because people like Roman Iwanyshyn need to be commended for the way they conduct themselves and their business. I would recommend him without reservation.
