The price was a little higher than other quotes but his expertise and commitment were well worth it. The job is not completed but we are confident that nothing will alter our satisfaction with this project.

Description of Work: They came promptly and reviewed the scope of the work, but they never got back to us with an estimate. No call or further contact. If you don't want the work, you should still get back to a waiting customer.

Description of Work: Went pretty good. Didn't always show up when he said he would. Finally came everyday and got it done. It looks nice.

Description of Work: Our ceiling in the living room was falling down from a structural cracking. DJM secured the area, re-nailed the dry wall ( with extra nails ) did all the plaster work matching our ceiling pattern, all in a timely fashion. They did quite a professional job in all aspects. They did an excellent job, and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. I would recommend them to anyone in need of such work.

Description of Work: Dave has done muliple and varying projects for us and I have always found his work to be very good and his prices fair. In his latest work for us, he helped us out in an emergency when we had a water leakage problem in our house. he came to our house immediately when i called him and was able to find the cause of the leakage to prevent further damage. He then repaired thedid water damage that had already occurred in a timely manner and the work looks good. Previously Dave did a much larger project for us. He put a bathroom and bar room in our basement and it looks great. He basically designed the bar from scratch from a small picture we gave him that we had found on the internet. again it looks great.

Description of Work: David came out for a free estimate. He was on the DOT for his 7pm appt with me and was more than kind and gracious. He drew out a design of my kitchen for me and took measurements so that I could go to Lowes to get them to design a kitchen for me to see what kind of cabinets I would need. He volunteered his services kindly and took the time to explain things to me. When and if i move forward with this remodel I will definitely call him. He even recommended a landscaper to me that is good and affordable I will call in the spring

Description of Work: Dave was very thorough in all phases of the french door removal and installation. He did most of the work himself but did have another guy to help him on the first day. The quality of work was excellent. They planned on a saturday and still kept that date even though it was raining all day. More work needed done than was estimated (which was a possibility we were well aware of) but the final price was still very close to the initial estimate. I would highly recommend Dave and his crew and plan on using him again in the future.

Description of Work: Installed hot water power vent. This was a very difficult job, one that Dave had not done before. Dave took the challange, he persisted, and got the vent to work. Dave was very fair and reasonable in his pricing. I would use his services again, and I would highly recommend him to anyone. Dave is fair, knowledgeable, honest and he has a lot of integrety.

They repaired damaged plaster, sand, caulk window perimeter, painted, installed & painted 1/4 round @ base of 2 windows, taped off sand, stain, clear coat (2 coats) 1/2 wall cap. They patched a hole, tape, mudded, sanded, painted and added an access hole in closet.They lightly sanded, painted the top of steel stair handrail. They cut block in 1/2, mortar in place, cut and installed stops, installed door, paint, filled cracks in masonry wall. Painted bottom of walls where previous painters missed, perimeter of rooms, installed, primed and painted a heat duct cover/shelf. They scraped, repaired a hole, filled, sanded, painted behind toilet. Cut to length, stained, clear coat and installed 1/4 round behind toilet. They repaired area below shower door, at light switch, below heat vent and painted. They installed painted 1/4 round @ base of 2 windows, taped off, sanded, stained, clear coat (2 coats) 1/2 wall cap. Cut block in 1/2, mortar in place, cut and installed stops, installed door, painted and filled cracks in masonry wall & painted.
