CLS lawns mowed my lawn on August 2nd and then again on the 9th, and then NEVER returned until the 26th; at which time ONLY ONE area where I planted new grass and had been heavily watering needed to be mowed. I asked the worker if I would be charged the full fee, because he was only going to mow approx. 10% of my lawn, and if so, forget it. He stated he would call and most likely it would be pro-rated. He mowed the small section of my lawn and then CLS Lawns NEVER returned again. We had sold our lawn mower and had to go rent one and find another service (most of which are booked by this time of the year and this endeavor was NOT easy at all). We were stuck 3/4 of the way thru the season without a lawn service and NO termination notice. It caused us great grief, expense and headaches to solve this problem of 3 ft. high grass. You cannot have clients sign contracts and then not abide them yourselves. They were required to give me 14 days notice. ALL CALLS WERE IGNORED FROM ME.
Description of Work: We signed a contract supplied by Ken Carothers on June 18, 2006 that he would be responsible for maintenance of our lawn "during the growing season", mowing all turf areas, trimming all turf areas and blowing the clippings with a power blowers for $35 per service call. The contract reads that if either party wishes to cancel, a termination notice in writing must be submitted to the other 14 days in advance. Things were going well until we had the drought spell this August and the area never got any rain.
