Everything was moved without damage to the items or the household and in a very speedy manner. The two gentleman were very capable and handled everything we had to move. Well worth the price considering the effort required to move our furniture. I like the website and manner to reserve their services.
Description of Work: Our moving pod was unpacked, and we used them to move furniture that was too heavy for us to handle.

I was skeptical of a company that just provides labor and does so on an hourly basis but knew that I couldn't handle a big move all by myself after a recent back injury. I call Anthony and he returned my call within minutes. He was very polite, asked the right questions about my needs, and stated that he would follow up with me after an initial minimal deposit was made through his website. Unfortunately I had some difficulty getting the website to work. I contact Anthony again and explained the difficulty. We were able to make other arrangements and I agreed to a team of three guys arriving at 9:30am. Prior to the scheduled move date Anthony contacted me a confirmed that they would be there. I appreciated this communication/confirmation. The big day arrived and at 9:30am three good, strong men arrived. They each introduced themselves and wanted to get right to work. I showed them everything that needed to go on my rented U-Haul truck and they went to work. These guys were incredible! It usually takes a lot to impress me and these guys did it. They took great care with our belongings. I don't know that anything ever touched a wall even in some pretty tight spaces. There were a few larger items that I wanted in the basement. They didn't complain once about it even though it was a very tight fit. We ended up making two trips because my truck wasn't big enough for one and these guys didn't complain a bit. My parents were watching the kids through all of this and commented several times about how respectful and polite and hardworking the movers were. We never heard any complaining, foul language, or horsing around. To sum it all up, I've moved many times (13 times in 8 years) and have done it myself. As long as I'm in the Lehigh Valley and 2 Mules i around, I know I will never move by myself again. They'll be the first ones that I call.

This was the easiest move I've ever made thanks to the guys 2 Mules sent. They were on time, eager to help and polite. Both the guys were well over 6 feet tall and hit their heads about 50 times each in that basement but my lady friend and I didn't hear a single curse word or complaint. I had a home gym to move which I knew was going to be a challenge; they were patient and helpful as we got sorted out how to get it out of that basement without dissembling it which saved me loads of time once it was in the new place. I would recommend this service to anyone who wants to get moved for a reasonable price. They're not really professional movers per se but they will get your job done without alot of hassle.
Description of Work: I used 2 Mules to move from a 1 bedroom basement type apartment to a 2nd floor apartment; usual items of furniture+ a home gym.

I will start with the positives. The person in charge, Anthony, was easy to get in contact with, friendly and responsive to questions. Their rates seemed reasonable and they were flexible about when they were able to do the work. That is when the good experience ended. I should have read the other review more closely, because this company are not professional movers. They are college kids who move things, which for us is a huge difference. It is like hiring a few of your friends to come over and help and not employees that have extensive experience with moving. To be fair, we are very anal about our things and our recently remodeled home. But we have done 3 long distance moves in 4 years, so I can make a fair assessment of movers. They didn't have any tools and didn't know how to take any furniture apart. We needed them to move dressers upstairs and on the first piece they tried to carry up they gouged our newly installed hardwood floor and came close to ruining our new staircase. They knew they did it, and never apologized. Once I realized that they were inexperienced, I felt like I had to watch them very carefully. They still banged up a few other pieces of furniture, again never apologized and even seemed annoyed by us telling them to be more careful. I have never had a mover have such blatant disregard for my belongings. Usually they are smart enough to at least be more careful when I am standing right there! Also, they were not very personable, although they probably hated us because we must have said to be more careful at least a 100 times . We had them move the pieces that my husband and I knew we couldn't carry on our own. Even though it was only an hour into the 2 hour minimum, we told them we didn't need them any more. We didn't want to risk more damage to our house that we just spent months and thousands of dollars remodeling. I just don't think they cared as much, compared to professional movers since this is not their full time job. Maybe when I was in my twenties and moving between apartments they might have been fine. But I would not recommend them if you have any interest in keeping your belongings or home intact. Update due to the company's response: The response from the company was not an accurate depiction of the situation. I specifically remember telling him that it was bedroom furniture that needed to go up the stairs (which I think implies a dresser). Also, I remember telling him about one very heavy piece that we have for the master bedroom. This didn't go up the stairs and only needed to be moved 25 feet. Regarding this piece he told me as long as my husband was home in case they needed extra help 2 people were sufficient. The dresser that did go up the stairs was not 350 pounds. It isn't expensive furniture and the drawers were out of it so there is no way it was that heavy, just a dresser that is a long awkward piece of furniture. My husband and I have moved it multiple times by ourselves, but I couldn't move it this time because I was pregnant. It wasn't swiveled over a railing. From the response, it sounds that the person I made the arrangements with was actually here moving the furniture, which was not the case. I was the only one both making the arrangements and here the day of the move. Additionally, I wrote the original review shortly after the move, so the details were fresh in my mind compared to several months later by a person not here. Given the unprofessional response from the company you can gage the maturity of the company for yourself.
Description of Work: The moved furniture into the correct rooms after we finished remodeling.

Response from Two Mules Moving LLC
Member, One of the dressers we had to move up the stairs was close to 350 pounds, which is interesting because when we spoke on the phone you insisted to me that 2 movers was enough because there is "nothing big." As far as us college kids gouging and breaking your house, you told us to swivel an extremely large dresser over a railing which would have cracked under a quarter of it's weight. In the 450 moves Two Mules has done, we have never once gotten into any trouble damaging floors or walls, in fact I have not even had to refund any money to a broken or damaged item. If you're wondering why its because we take EXTREME care in everything we move. Look at the nearly 100 reviews that are floating around the internet on Yellowpages, Superpages, Yelp, HireAHelper, AngiesList and the 30 reviews on our website and it will be easy to see. Yes the floor got damaged as it took 15 attempts at least to get the dresser off of the top landing and up the stairs- had you been a little more open and willing to spend an extra 30 dollars we could have came with 3 movers which that piece required, instead of being "told" how to do it again and again with just 2. I know how to swivel a dresser around a tight corner, I've done it probably a thousand times.

The guy who runs the company is super-nice, super-professional. He was really easy to get in touch with, both by phone (I got his cellphone # so you can get in touch even in the evenings, which is awesome) and e-mail, and I was in touch with him a whole lot with questions. Can't say enough good stuff about him! The kids that show up aren't professional movers; they're basically just college/just-out-of-college dudes, but they were easy to work with, friendly and not sketchy. The guy who runs the company can bring packing supplies if you want him to; it just needs to be arranged ahead of time (but that's not really what they do; it's more of a budget kind of service for people who want to save money). The kids weren't super-knowledgeable about how to pack a truck or anything like a real moving company, but it all went fine. Overall, a good company and I'd recommend them.
Description of Work: this is a budget moving company, good for people who want to find a cheaper way of doing a move--it's "college kids" (or college-aged kids, loosely defined) who basically just show up and move your stuff in and out of your apartment--kinda like what your friends would do if you could rent them by the hour :) It's cheaper than a regular moving company, so it doesn't have all the bells and whistles (they don't come with their own pads, their own truck, etc.)-- it's just two (or more if you want) guys that come and do the lifting in and out of the apartment/house and into the truck (you have to hire the U-Haul separately, and drive the truck yourself, so that's something to consider--mine was a 14-footer!). However, they did the job nicely for what it was. I even hired the guys back the hour to come back the next day and unpack my apartment with me, for the same rate that they got paid to move (it's basically just renting two strong dudes to help you with stuff). They even showed up early to help me pack when I realized I didn't have enough time or energy to pack the rest of my stuff up in boxes on the day of the move. My move cost $1200 but I think they worked with me for something like 12 hours straight one day, and 6 hours the next day. It was $60 an hour for 2 guys, and more/less if you want more or fewer guys per hour.

We needed to move multiple pieces of furniture from storage to our new house. They were professional, very careful, flexible, eager for business with very reasonable rate. Were very realistic about what they thought they could or could not do and knowledgeable about how to get the job done. They don't have a truck or other equipment, but their guys are strong and conscientious.
