They showed up a few hours early, so I had to leave work to go home. Estimate was a little pricey, so I went with someone else.

We visited the store, asked for information and received a brochure. I phoned in our request, asked for a quote, and received the quote via email the same day. We eventually chose another service provider due to a much better price quote.

My wife and I live in an older home and have felt, for some time, that the windows needed to be updated, not only for cosmetic reasons, but also to eliminate drafts and realize more home heating efficiency. Since our home is heated with an oil burner, we weren?t sure what savings, if any, we?d get from new windows but we hoped to bring down the $700/month expense of oil. The team at Penn Windows, Doors & Siding was exceptional in helping us understand the color and style options we had, the expectations we should have with new windows, as well as walk us through the process, from buying to installation. We had twelve of our windows replaced in main living areas, kitchen bathroom and bedrooms, and are thrilled with the results. It changed the dated look of our home exterior as well, since we went with a cocoa exterior and white interior window. The brown complimented the red of the brick so well that we opted to have Penn Windows, Doors & Siding come back for a second installation. This time six additional windows and some sections of siding were updated. The siding and the cladding around the windows matched the cocoa of the windows so well it really tied the whole house together. The installation crew did a fantastic job, was very respectful of our home and property (and our time/schedules) and went above and beyond in working around some odd corners and older exterior issues. They even added extra brown cladding near two windows on a dormer which we would have had to paint otherwise. They saved us from having to hire a painter, or match the brown ourselves and paint a portion of our home?s exterior on the second floor. Phew! An outstanding job overall, and great to work with Rick Sr., Rick Jr., Rich and Erin. We?re looking forward to working with their family again, and their sister company Richards Window Fashions, for some much needed blinds and shades for our new windows. Great team, great products and great results! In the end, although it was a rather mild winter, we're already feeling the impact of more efficient windows in our home. The house holds heat better than it did in the past, and our heating costs have gone down this past season. Can't wait to continue to pay less for oil each winter. Thank you.

The job was completed in one day and the installer cleaned up well after the work was done.

I called them to inquire about replacing two windows. They explained to me that the windows that would need replacing are very expensive, and they actually informed me about a less expensive option with a different company. They could have easily taken the job and charged me well over $1500 for the two windows. Instead they referred me to a company who would be able to replace the glass without replacing the entire window. While most companies would be happy to take your money, this company was honest! I would absolutely recommend them and I would definitely use them in the future.

They were good. I had no problems with them at all. I was satisfied. They told me exactly what they were going to do beforehand. They were not going to use a replacement door but actually have the same dimension like the usual door. Anything that they thought I might have a question on, they answered it way in advance so I didn't have to have those thoughts.

They have always been on schedule, and they have always completed a job within their predicted window. They do proper measuring in advance, have the needed materials with them on the job, and leave the site cleaner when they are done than when they first arrived.

They were extremely knowledgeable and they were consistent. They took care in their job and they cleaned up after themselves. Their product was very good. They were comparable to other estimates I had gotten. The accessibility of the people was good. If I had a question and called them, they were very helpful. One of the reasons I chose them was because they had a preinstallation special at the time I got them. It took a lot off the price as far as being competitive. There was only one man and he wasn't a social person. He was focused on his work but he wasn't rude. He was in a zone. He wasn't a people person. I think he would have rather been doing something else but it didn't reflect on his quality. I think he was tired of his job. I am going to call them again when I am ready to do my sunroom.

Excellent from start to finish. From initial visit to install, everything was handled with professionalism. Materials were superior and clean-up was thorough.

Excellent!!!! Working with Rick and his crew was a great experience, they did everything they said they would, and more! The house looks great. The crew that installed the siding was very professional, courteous, prompt, and surpassed my expectations. They worked with me on financing, selecting the type of siding and insulation, offered suggestions, and even installed motion detector lights on the front and rear of the house for me (I purchased these myself) I would DEFINITELY recommend them to anyone! I also plan on using them next year to replace my doors and windows, as well as do the siding on my garage (detached)

The clean up was flawless and the workmanship was expert - can't say enough about the installers. The entire job, from initial telephone call making the estimate appointment to the finished installation, went smoothly and efficiently. The Office and ownership were a joy to deal with and kept a close followup on the work's progress. The whole process ran like you would expect a successful company to perform. You can feel safe in contracting work with this company; they are honest and hard working. THANKS PENN WINDOWS - GREAT JOB!!!

We had excellent install service - very professional, quick, polite,did not make a mess, explained all about the windows. They followed up on their work, and they send us a very helpful newsletter every few months. Always nice folks at the office.

My expiernece with them was absolutley wonderful. I met Erin at a home show, and scheduled a free estimate. Rick Jr. came out in the evening to give me the estimate. It lasted almost 2 hours - but I NEVER felt like I was being given a sales pitch, etc. He truly explained the entire process to me, and brought along a sample of the EXACT window I was buying. We did not purchase the highest or lowest end window...but a mid-grade window. It is excellent quality, and I can really notice a difference between the new and the other vinyl windows in my home (replaced prior to me buying the home). The windows took approximatley 3 weeks to manufacturer, and installation was scheduled within a week of the windows arriving to Penn. I would not have even known the installers were in my home - it was clean and tidy when I came home. I was also able to finance my windows for 1 year with 0% interest through Penn, along with recieving a "free installation" promotion. This is an excellent company - and I am very picky with 'sales' people! Never any pressure, I felt truly comfortable during the whole process. I couldn't recommend them more!!

Was told installation would probably take all day. Two men came and did the instillation, cleaned up with removal of all trash. It took approximately 3 hours. Great job! Very pleased.
