Maitz home services proved to be an honest professional and accommodating company. Two technicians Jaryd and Josh responded to my emergency the same day I called. They were knowledgeable and efficient quickly identifying the problem. Only an adjustment and reset needed. Unheard of these days, when I asked how much I owed them (service call) they said nothing. SHOCKING, in a good way. I have a new plumbing, heating, cooling etc. company. Give them a chance Maitz Home Services

Victor from Maitz was outstanding. We had an inspection done and was very informative. He went above and beyond my expectations. He came back the next day and corrected the problems. He showed us what he did and explained everything. He is a top notch employee for maitz. Any future problems, he would be the one we ask for. Very professional and honest. Would recommend him to anybody.

Racist company! I manage rental properties in downtown Allentown. I do most of my service work myself. However, I had to travel away on business and one of my properties developed a water leak. A water leak is something that needs to be addressed right away. I called Maitz and scheduled an appointment. Because the technician could not get there until later in the afternoon he did not arrive until 4:00 PM. The technician had to park about a block away and because there were people outside playing music, he was afraid for his safety. He claims they were doing drugs. I know the neighborhood that was not the case. He refused to do the work and his company backed him up. This was a situation where a white technician was afraid of people of color for no reason. RACIST!

We needed a whole new a/c system for our house. We looked at a few different companies in the area and decided to go with Maitz Home Services. Chris and Jerry came out to do the install. They were on time. They were very professional and nice. They were very knowledgeable about the whole system and how it works and good at explaining all of it. They left the workspace very clean after themselves. We are very happy with the job they did.

Disgraceful that they canceled when they were supposed to arrive after I made special arrangements to be home. My plumbing leak is worse now because I waited almost a week for them.

TOTAL SCUM DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They play bait and switch quotes with pricing. Wanted to charge me over 2000 for a job that other plumbers charge 5 to 6 hundred. Kicked them out of my house! Filling compliants with BBB NEXT.

If you want to play the game of low to high price, wait for the part and be treated rudely, Maitz is for you. Maitz used to be good. I used them for 14 years on my properties. Never again. Sad.

I was experiencing a slow drain which was backing up in my kitchen sink whenever using dishwasher. I called maitz Home Services and was happy to hear that the plumber would be at my house the same day. The kitchen sink was a mess with sludge and the plumber was friendly and efficient. He solved my problem! I would not hesitate to recommend this service to everyone also will be using maitz Home Services if anything should go wrong in my home in the future. I was especially happy that the plumber offered a preventive measure which I purchased and hope to use to keep my kitchen sink working moving forward. Thanks🤗

The technician determined that the condensate line was clogged. He recommended installing a condensate pump. I have this device in another house I own so I am familiar with it. It is a self contained unit where the PVC condensate line from the HVAC unit goes into, it plugs into a wall outlet, and there is a flexible clear plastic line that then goes into an existing drain. In this case there is a power outlet by the HVAC unit, and it's next to a washer/dryer so there is a drain for the washer a couple feet away. Basically a 5 minute install. The part is about $50 on amazon. The technician quoted me $850 to do the repair!!!! Unconscionable!!!! Luckily I knew enough to send him on his way, but what if I didn't? I called to complain to the manager who said "oh he should have adjusted the fee". Well he didn't, and if I didn't know better I would have been out $850!!! By the way, this is on top of requiring a separate visit for $99 to check it out!! I had a leaking toilet and I asked them to check out the HVAC issue at the same time. They said NO and that I had to pay a separate $99 fee for someone to go out there a second time.!! They charged $49 to come look at the toilet and then$266 to re-seat it (which seemed a lot, but ok).

They are wonderful and they did a very good job on that. A couple times we had problems but it was more our ignorance than anything wrong with the system but they came cheerfully out and showed us what we did wrong and fixed it. They know the equipment that’s in our house, they are familiar with it, they have repaired it before, they have been reliable, they’ve been prompt, they’ve come in an emergency situations.

They are wonderful, we have a yearly contact and they check everything, plumbing, heating, air conditioning, everything. Actually something my husband did, they came out, no charge, showed him what it was, showed him hot to fix it and fixed it. You get top notch service you’re going to have to pay top notch dollars. They call and say when they are going to be there and they are there within 10 minutes of when they said they would.

I wanted to get a price quote for the installation for pool heater replacement. They charged me $29 for to come and check what needs to be done and give a price quote. They were respectful, professional and punctual. The issue was, they quoted me extremely high for gas connection modification. They asked $699 for the job. I felt like it is too much so I gave a call to another company, a competitor, described what needs to be done and they quoted me $335, what a difference. All in all, I believe they will do a good job but they are trying to charge much more than what the job requires. Make sure you get quotes from another competitor.

All went fine. Refrigerant price seemed high, but I guess mark ups are to br expected.

Was given a complete quote for replacement range between $ 7,000 $10,000. Quote for repair $1800 or $3600. Paid $250 for initial service not informed where leak was discovered. Was told the quotes would be Emailed for my review. Called when quotes were not Emailed, another "Manager" tried to sell a replacement heat pump. He was provided a quote for repair for $7000. Stating it would be cheaper to replace than repair. Informed him that was not the quote I was told for repair. He tried to justify stating I had "old" heat pump. The unit was installed 2010. Had technician in home 06/13/2017, 06/14/2017,/06/15/2017. Called company 06/16/2017. Did not receive a written quote.

Work was done correctly the first time, & with no hidden costs.

The service person was knowledgeable about my water softening system and very informative on how to maintain the system. Plus he helped me out with an issue that I was having with my shower.

The quality of work was excellent. They're professional, reliable, and knowledgeable. The workers have been very helpful. They've even gone out of their way a couple times to help us. If we have a problem, like if something is not working. They're out within 24 hours. He's very nice. They always put this silly things over his shoes. Every time he goes outside he takes them off and every time he comes inside he puts them on.
