They were good. I liked the fact that they broke down all expenses and if you wanted to choose a subcontractor or install yourself, you could decide. I did the plumbing myself.

We have no problems. It was fine. I would recommend them. What they came up for was taken cared satisfactory and we were fine with that however, the pricing was kind of high.

It went very well. The craftsmanship was impeccable. The workers were punctual and courteous, There was frequent communication among all persons involved in the installations.. Any problem was completely remedied.

At the end of October 2013 I stopped in the showroom of Kitchens By Design in Allentown. I met with Mike who was very knowledgeable. I made an appointment to meet with him in my home two weeks later on 11/07/2013. Mike spent well over an hour at my home discussing what I was looking for and taking measurements. A few minutes after he left, I realized he forgot his pad with all the notes and measurements. I called the office immediately and left a message. About a week later the office called and said someone would pick it up in a few days. That was on 11/21/2013. Despite a couple of phone calls in December and early January I did not hear from Mike until mid January. He apologized for the delay but had my plans ready. We made an appointment to meet in the showroom the last week of January, but the office called and rescheduled for the following week. Again the day before the appointment they cancelled and rescheduled again for 02/12/2014. I met with Mike on the 12th and looked over the plans. We spent about an hour together looking over the plans, making some minor changes, picking out cabinets, colors, etc.. He gave me samples of all the things I picked to take home and he told me it would take him a few days to get the prices together. Well, after two phone calls and one visit to the showroom (Mike was not in on any of the occasions) Mike finally called back on March 11th, apologized again, and said and quot;he is working on my prices right now and would get back to me within 48 hours. Today is Thursday, March 20th and still no word from Mike.

This company is well organized and quickly coordinates the demolition and remodel in a timely fashion. All of their staff were professional and helpful. They are flexible in working with changes or additional jobs along the way. Communication was good and they are honest and fair. The only negative was that the last few tasks dragged out over a few weeks. whereas the initial work was done very efficiently over the first 4 weeks. Would highly recommend them.

Total remodel of my kitchen. Took walls and ceilings down to studs and started from there. New flooring, cabinets, countertop, appliances, electrical, plumbing, lighting. Very pleased.

They were excellent. Lead workers were very professional and the design team just had a good design. Their price was on the higher end but we had people do other work that were on the lower end and we got what we paid for. So I think their price was reasonable based on what they gave us because they did very quality work. They can improve their services on just the beginning stages of the one person that we were in contact with at getting started but once we got started it was good, but getting started was a slow process.

They came out, they were very nice and gave us an estimate but we're still looking. A man came and he was really nice and he's very prompt, he came out like within a couple of days and stayed for several hours and measured everything, gave us an estimate and I was very pleased with it. I haven't used him yet and I'm not finished getting estimates on thing.

Work nice, however many weeks behind schedule and had to correct some edge work around the sink to call them back out to correct. Overall, good work however and they do have very good reviews in the area.

The project went very well. The bookcases look beautiful. Exactly what we wanted. The design ideas were great, they suggested some features we never would have included on our own. When the installers ran into some unexpected problems they came up with a very creative and attractive solution. Their work took our living room from a room we hardly used to our favorite room to relax in. The only thing they could improve on is returning calls more promptly.

We went to four different firms to discuss our needs for remodeling our kitchen. We got design layouts and estimates from three of those firms. Kitchens by Design provided the best design for our needs and their bid price was very competitive with the other bids. Their Sales Manager, Mike Mason was excellent to work with and captured exactly what we wanted in his design. All of the people who worked on installing our kitchen were also excellent. They were very professional and the quality of their work was also excellent. Our kitchen was completed ahead of schedule and we are very happy with the result.

We contacted Kitchens By Design to replace kitchen countertops at our new home, as they did a beautiful job with the kitchen at our previous home. They came out in a timely manner and provided us with a reasonable estimate for the work we wanted done (new countertops, new hardware and new appliances). However, when we contacted them to start the project they never called us back. We left at least three (3) messages requesting return phone calls and specifically stated that we want to go ahead with the project, but they never called us back. We were very disappointed because we knew the quality of their work and now have to look elsewhere to another company to complete the work on our kitchen.

They have very competitive pricing. They have excellent craftsmanship. They are prompt, neat, and clean. They cleaned at the end of every day. Very knowledgeable with kitchen designs, and I would consider them an expert remodeling company. I hope to use them to remodel my bathroom soon.

The advantage of KBDINC is that they either do or coordinate the whole job (their motto is "Not Just Cabinets"). We started working with their designer in March of 2011. He provided us with several interations of drawings (floor plans and elevations) until we settled on the final design. The order for the custom cabinets was placed in June of 2011. During the summer we selected appliances, plumbing fixtures, floor tile, backsplash, granite for the countertops, light fixtures, paint colors, etc. Due to heavy work loads at the factory, our cabinets did not arrive for installation until September, 2011. Work started on September 24, 2011 and continued with very few pauses until the job was substantially completed about 5 weeks later. The quality of the workmanship was excellent, and all workers were courteous and professional. Small variations from the original plan were handled quickly without complaint, and with minimal extra cost.

The person I spoke to was very professional. They wanted to do work that was more custom than I wanted to do for that property so I didn't use them. I didn't compare their prices because I didn't want a custom kitchen. If I needed their kind of product, I would get another estimate from them.

The estimate was well managed and well defined, but too expensive.

They were great from start to finish. Great design. Very punctual and clean. They take pride in their work and it shows. We could not be happier with the outcome.

It went very well, they showed up when promised, every time. Their staff are polite, efficient, thorough and completely trustworthy!
