Description of Work: Roofing and siding. Didn't finish my downspouts I had to do them. And never returned my calls for the warranty info on shingles. Later found they were not covered by gaf because contracted never registered them

+ -1 moreOk, lets understand the time setting. Fall 2011, rain, rain, rain... I along with my neighbors had just suffered through a "straight wind" which took out trees, electrical lines, etc. along with many shingles on my roof & in my attic there were buckets every where. And then came hurricane Irene - and more buckets in the attic. JRS, unfortunately, was very slow with presenting their proposal & after waiting a number of weeks I obtained a quote from another company, however in the meantime I also received JRS's proposal. The quote by the second company was lower for the very same work, materials, quality, etc. and could start in about two weeks. But, let me also say JRS's proposal detail was VASTLY SUPERIOR to that of the company I went with. Had I not been so pressed I no doubt would have gone with JRS & still would today.

Description of Work: I requested quotes from several contractors for roof replacement. JRS came out and did a complete inspection even though he had decided to fore go a quote due to the distance from his shop. However, he did advise that my shingles showed failure and might qualify for a warranty claim. He was the only one to point this out, including the company that received the job. This was worth $1,400 and 30 bundles of shingle (a total value around $5k +) I was impressed with his knowledge and felt that the job would have turned out well if done by his company..

Work with Jerry the manager as he made a very indepth assessment of the roofing needs and was helpful on pointing out other repairs required. I felt they did a very high quality job and they cleaned up nicely afterwards. I definitely recommend JRS for roofing needs.
Description of Work: I had my roof completely reshingled after the original roof of 27 years looked like it was on its last legs. JRS recommended the lifetime (50 yrs) shingles and this was what was chosen.

+ 2 moreJRS did a nice job conforming to my insurance claim. There workmanship was excellent regarding the roof, siding, aluminum fascia, and the gutters. Window screen replacement is not their forte. I would recommend contracting with a window company for this type of work.
