Fred has been very professional. The price is reasonable. He also answers email and message promptly. However, what impressed me the most was his attention to details. What I worried the most in choosing an contractor is the attention to quality. For a chandelier and 7 feet tall foyer window grille, the last thing you want to see if it falls down one day on you. Especially one of the reasons why I got him here was fixing the big window grille fell off from second floor down after being used for 15 years. It almost hit the kids. I saw him double and triple checked every critical points before coming down from the 20 feet high ladder. He even took the time to wipe off dust on the 25 feet tall ceiling corners. I did NOT ask him to do that, but he just did it because he was up there. I was very grateful for that, because these were the spots that I can never reach even with a long pole. This is the true professionalism that I have been looking for. Nothing can be replaced by this peace of mind that Fred and his team gave me. I am sure he will be the first one for me to call for the next job around the house.

This is the second time we hired IPS. They were very professional, made suggestions to resolve problem areas, and cleaned up after they were finished. We will hire them again for future projects.

When I contacted IPS for their services I received a call back by the next day. From that call we set up appointment and he came out promptly for the appointment. Fred Castro was courteous and pleasant. Base on his assessment and time he was selected from the pack. From the first day Fred took pride in his work and the quality he was going to be leaving once he was done. There were many obstacles that my home produced to him and he was ready to attack them all. I appreciate all of his work and would use him in the future.

Fred came over to a rental property I own to check out a leak the tenant had noticed behind the sink wall. When the cabinet doors were opened, the wall was moldy indicating a leak from the plumbing. This had been a renovated bathroom with a newly put in sink and cabinet. The bathtub spout was also loose and in need of repair. Obviously, the handyman I had used did not know what he was doing (or just did not care about doing a good job). Fred explained to me that the plumbing behind the wall was loose and that he would need to break through for the repair. He sent me the estimate and I paid the 30% deposit required. We agreed on a date and I confirmed a few days before the schedules date that he would be able to make the repairs. He showed up on the day and time specified and sent me photos of the bathroom before, during, and after the repairs. I live far from my rental property and was unable to go that day to see the job done. These photos sent by Fred let me see what he was doing without the need for me to travel. There was also a small leak in a basement pipe that he fixed. Prior to this job, I called him with an emergency. The water bill for the property was outrageously high and the water co. told me that there must be a leak. I called Fred and he went over the same day. He was very reliable and I was able to confirm with the water co. that the problem was at their end and not mine.

Fred explains what needs to be done, gives an honest estimate of time and materials and cost. While we had to wait until Fred could get to our jobs, once he was here he was very thorough in doing the work and discussing changes when they arose while the work was unfolding. I would contact Fred when I am ready to have other improvements or repairs done to our house.

Fred did an amazing job on my house. The only complaint would be the company he used to order the kitchen cabinets- (Miller 's Supply in Catauqua, Pa. There were other options but I chose them, simply because of cabinets that I saw in their showroom. They told us they were in stock and they were not and had to be ordered. We waited for them to come in and then they lost them, and when they found them, Hurrican Sandy delayed that delivery Then some of the crown moulding pieces were also missing. Fred had bad luck with an employee at the time too, I hope he has found a good replacement now. Fred is a very hard worker and is also very reliable. He had a good eye for design and helped me pick out cabinets and countertops, hardwood flooring, paint color, and ceramic tile that all look beautiful. He is very trustworthy and I never had a problem with giving him a key to my house. He is very talented and he even repaired mold in my laundry room and replaced the drywall and painted. I am very pleased with everything he did for me. My place looks amazing thanks to Fred.

I spoke with Fred over the phone and asked him if he did free estimates since I needed a garage roof to be looked at because it was leaking. The garage belongs to a rental property that I have which was not rented at the time so I was not in any hurry to get it looked at. Fred said he had a few jobs to do, but would try to take a look at it that week. I gave him my cell # and I left on a two week vacation. Upon my return, Fred calls me apologizing for not getting back to me. He was very honest, and I frankly told him I had also forgotten about the estimate with my vacation plans. After that, we were always in contact either through the phone or emails. He always responded promptly to me. He first saw the roof from the deck of the house which was on a higher elevation and gave him a good view. He gave me an estimate of $325 to repair a loose flashing, detached gutter, and to seal any holes that might be causing the problem. I gave him the job and a check for the deposit of 30% of the total cost. I met him at the property on the scheduled date of the repair, but unfortunately, once Fred got on the roof, he realized that it was in worse shape than what he had spotted from the deck. I unlocked the door, we went inside, and he inspected the ceiling and discovered some of the wood was rotten as I could visibly see. It would be a major repair that I could not afford at the time. We spoke at length about the garage and when we finished, he immediately said he would write me a check for the deposit I had given him. I did not even have to ask him for it! After having very bad experiences with various contractors when I renovated the rental property, it was so refreshing to meet an honest man! I will definitely give him a call for any other work I need done.

Fred responded to my call immediately. Out gutters were clogged and we had water pouring over the sides, which created other problems. He came out to the house took care of the gutters within a short period of time. He has been very professional and knowledgeable. We will certainly hire him again for other projects.

This was my second time using IPS for work at my home. Freddy is my go to guy and once again he came through, bringing things to my attention that sorely needed it. In addition to identifying several areas of my roof needing repair, he also corrected an issue with stucco covering a portion of my dryer vent which had been preventing my dryer from working at full capacity for years, something I was totally unaware of. I could clearly tell the difference in how well my dryer dried my clothes after he chipped away the stucco blocking the dryer vent from being able to function at 100% capacity.....what a difference! As I have stated previously, before working with anyone else Freddy will be my first choice for any work I need done in my current residence. I highly recommend him!

I tried to setup apt with him to get an estimate. Tried many times, talked to him, he agreed to show up. Left message to call me back and never called back. Looks like the person has organization issues. He missed the apt thrice - without any call back or any apology!!

Freddy did a great job on the work in my home and was incredibly professional to work with. He answered my call immediately and was able to squeeze me into his schedule that same day!! He was so pleasant to have working in my home -- he seems to be a very trustworthy, honest, and hardworking person. I would definitely hire him again and hope to use him for some upcoming renovations to our home.

Fred was very cordial and professional when he made the visit to discuss the job. We will likely choose IPS when we complete the project.

They came out and gave me a quote. He was fair with the quote. It was good. He was a great personality person. It was just right around when Sandy hit and there were other people who had major damage and things that he needed to get done and what I wanted to done was basically just to have a spot light put out in my yard for my dogs. I ended up having fence put out back so that spot light wouldn't have helped me at all so it all worked out. As a matter of fact, he even went as far as readjusting the spot light I already had to make it go farther out in the yard and he did that for me just as a being a nice guy so I would definitely recommend him as far as getting a quote from him. I don't what other people want done because he does a variety of things so I don't know how their quotes would compare to other people they get, but for me I definitely if I needed something done I would call him again. I don't think my work was enough of a money maker so I kind got push back and these have changed with what I wanted to get done. Things have changed and I don't need that work done now so I really can't say how good the work is because I never really had him do anything.

Great work. Highly recommend and will use again. I had several minor things I wanted addressed at my home and am glad to have used IPS. This will be my go to team for any jobs which fall within their area of expertise. Once I met Fred (the owner) when he came out to give me an estimate I had a good feeling. He was very thorough and provided me with what I thought was a fair estimate. The day of the work Fred and Frankie arrived at my home as scheduled, communicating with me when they were on the way, and were very professional. In several hours they did what I had requested and then some (power washed my garage floors removing years of build up and oil stains, removed old caulk and replaced with new caulk around jacuzzi tub, cleaned out dryer vents and replaced hosing for dryer exhaust, sanded and repainted an unsightly settlement crack, repaired a leaky faucet in my garage, and found/sealed an area the size of an pencil eraser head presumed to be allowing water into my property resulting in a water stain on one of my ceilings). Finding that small hole believed to be causing the water damage was the highlight of their visit as far as I was concerned because the fact that they could isolate the issue and narrow in on such a small area spoke volumes to me about their attention to detail. I also appreciated the fact that they left no remnants of their work behind when they were done. I am pleased with all the work they performed and already have a second job lined up.

Fred was professional and very punctual. He gave me an estimate the same day I called and spent a while looking at the house and going over various options. He's a nice guy, knowledgeable, and from what I've seen, does great work. He gave me a fair estimate, but ultimately I decided to go with another equally fair estimate. I wouldn't hesitate to hire Fred for future projects, and I recommend contacting him based on my experience.

Project is proceeding as scheduled. I have used this contractor before and as per my past experience he is living up to my expectations. I am very pleased with the professionalism and workmanship of IPS and I highly recommend them.

Fred came over and looked at the job and did it the next week. I ordered the parts and he did the install, very professional, communicates well over email, we had to wait for a time to open up in his schedule, since some of the parts were not here when I opened up the boxes. He did the job well, made it look nicer then I thought, and is generally a nice guy, Not a puchy contractor.

He pulled a bait and switch on me. He wanted an extra $150, upon arrival of doing the job.

The job went very well from start to finish. He was very careful about making a mess and cleaning up as well as doing any damage to my property.

Everything was great. The roof was surveyed within within hours after I made the call. I was concerned because wood was exposed in one of the areas. When I asked him how soon the roof could be repaired, I was told it would be considered as an emergency repair and would be completed as soon as the roof was dry enough to walk on. The next morning a roofer was at our house to make the repairs. Even though our roof is 14 years old and the same color is no longer available, the new shingles blend in with the existing roof. You have to look closely in order to see the difference. Excellent work by a great company!

Job went very well. During the days that work was being done, cleanup was done daily and items stored neatly out of the way, job was done in a timely manner. Estimate give was accurate and a resonable price. Very please and floor looks beautiful.

There was a major water leak in our home damaging the flooring and drywall, ceiling and walls. When IPS began to repair the flooring they found the presence of mold. They immediately started to efficiently and professionally begin to resolve the mold issue. Fans and a dehumidifier were brought in and they frequently checked the moisture levels until they were at an acceptable level. They were prompt and attentive to our needs throughout the whole process. I was most pleased with the work and would recommend them to others.

He completed the job in a timely manner and responded quickly to my original call.

The work was done promptly and accomplished in a timely manner even though it was not a standard replacement.
