Handy, through the Handy platform, offers technology and information to book home services, but does not itself provide these services. The provision of services is the responsibility of independent professionals scheduled through the Handy platform. Tasks booked and paid for directly through the Handy platform are performed by background checked professionals*, and are backed by the Handy Happiness Guarantee**. Monica did a FANTASTIC job!!! My house was really messy and she worked very hard to get it done! She used elbow grease which is what you need to do when cleaning a house properly. She even moved the furniture and vacuumed and wiped down the baseboards! I am thoroughly happy with her work! I definitely recommend her!!!

Disaster. Hired for 5+ hours but asked her to leave after a hour. Her cleaning was leaving a mess. She used poor cleaning products and her cleaning amounted to minimal dusting and broom sweeping. She did not vacuum. Surfaces, including our SS kitchen appliances and granite counters were covered with furniture polish. We instructed her to not use polish on our mahogany dining table but she forgot and used here polish again. She brought a child to help who tried to clean expensive objects, and spilled Ajax cleaner on our hardwood floor. On a positive note, she was pleasant, just inexperienced. We needed to reclean everywhere. Handy has not responded to our multiple calls. Apparently they operate from call centers an E-mail. Not hearing back from them, we have asked AEC to dispute the charge.
