Designer Awnings

I waited 3 years to write this review. The awning has worked flawlessly and was a â Best Buyâ in my opinion. We replaced a manual awning that was 26 years old with this motorized one. No need to move furniture to open this awning so we have used it almost every day in July and August. We have a deck that faces north and like the sun in the kitchen in winter, so a motorized awning is perfect for our needs. Designer awnings also removed our old awning and used siding I saved in my basement to complete a very professional installation. None of the other companies I contacted would do this for us.

Working with Dario and Designer Awnings was a great home improvement experience for me. Dario was prompt in calling me back if I had any questions. The guys that came out to install were respectful and professional. And the product, I love my awning. It gave the back of my home that special something I was looking for. Great quality and exceptional customer service!

We ABSOLUTELY LOVE our Sunesta Retractable Awning and the Sunesta â Sentryâ Retractable Sun Screen from Designer Awnings!! My wife and I spent 2 years deciding what to do with our back porch area, and we couldnâ t be more happy with our decision! Since the back of our house faces West, during the afternoon it would get so incredibly hot, the deck was almost unusable during this time. We needed something to block the sun, look beautiful, and meet our budget. Once we saw the quality of the material and learned the awning could extend past the edge of the deck (beyond 14 feet), we knew that we found exactly what we were seeking. We also needed something to block the sun while sitting inside our Sun Room while trying to have dinner in the summer months. My wife really wanted window treatments, but I didnâ t want to lose ANY visibility of our pool area. When Designer Awnings presented the retractable sun screen â we were SOLD!! It completely blocks the sun, lowers the temperature of the room by several degrees, and is completely hidden when standing inside the house looking out towards the pool. So for us, both the Retractable Awning and the â Sentryâ Retractable Sun Screen met all our criteria and requirements, and completely surpassed our expectations. Plus, to top everything off, both the Awning and the Screen can be controlled by using our smart phones â which is GREAT since we control almost everything else in our house using our phones. Overall, we are incredibly satisfied with the products, as well as with Designer Awnings. They were very professional and knowledgeable, and I would recommend contacting them TODAY to learn what options may work best for you!! Long waiting time to get the awing

My wife and I decided that we wanted a awning to cover the deck of our new condo. We ordered information from Sunsetter and started to do some internet research. It quickly became apparent to us that the awnings from Sunesta were rated among the highest in the industry. Coincidentally, we saw an ad for Designer Awnings. We called and Dario (the owner) said he could come over that afternoon. Dario measured the deck and explained our options. He was able to give us a price on the spot. After discussion, reading the literature that Dario brought and picking a color, we gave Dario a deposit. We needed to obtain permission from our HOA, so we requested that he hold off ordering until we had the permission. We called him back the next week and he told us it would take "about a week and a half". Sure enough in 10-12 days, we received a call and set up an appointment for installation.
